After a very short trip in Boston, I came here for a coffee before heading back to the airport and it was delicious. I had the Iced Apple Spiced Vanilla Latte and the coffee tasted wonderful. I was worried the coffee would have an overpowering apple flavor but it was perfect 👌🏼 I also had the Pecan Honey Bun and the Spinach Bun and they were also great. The honey bun was perfectly dense, not too tough or soft. The whole wheat bread was very flavorful with the spinach too. Wish I could've stayed all day in that coffee house!

Well the place is in a pretty good location, Downtown Boston, and the decor is good. I could have given a better review if the staff was paying attention to what the customers order. I’ve asked for a no sugar drink, and I asked them about the frozen latte. They suggested that if I go with the unflavored option then there is no sugar. When I tried the drink it was super sweet and I asked if it contains sugar. And the answer was that it has a decent amount of sugar in the mixture they use. I have asked for a new drink and instead of providing this for free, as most places would do if they make a mistake, they charged me for the replacement. Such a frustrating experience!

Located just off of the Freedom Trail, The Well is a coffee shop well worth stopping by. Their coffee and pastries are delicious and reasonably priced and the service is wonderful. Most importantly, though, The Well is a non-profit organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers. All of their proceeds go to other non-profits and community service organizations (a new one for each month). Therefore, if you're looking to pour into the community of Boston, whether just visiting or residing there, The Well is the place to get your coffee. Not only will you get a quality product, but you will be making a positive impact on the city.

Such a lovely coffee shop, with a great atmosphere, awesome staff, and excellent coffee. We were staying at the Hyatt Centric and went here 4 times over 3 days. Had regular coffee, espresso drinks, chai and all were prepared perfectly. Got some muffins and other goodies one morning and they were very good as well. The fact that they give back to non-profits in the community makes it very easy to love this place.

    · Not warm enough - comfy if in winter clothes, otherwise cold 🥶🙃😄 · also builds wells in low/middle-income countries, very kind😇 · peach tea tastes like real peaches, not artificial!¡☕🍵 😼

If you're a black coffee drinker, I didn't think the house coffee was that bad. Not bad but just not a lot of flavor if you don't put much in it, but very smooth. I should have gotten one of the stronger roast options. My wife loved her Cinnamon Roll latte though. Great atmosphere to sit and drink coffee. Nice art. Even has a few Bible verse references in the art. Isaiah 6:8, John 14 (the well)

I got the Butter beer Latte (frapp) decaf with almond milk! Omg this was Soo good, it was sweet but not overwhelming and they were very accommodating for me decaf wish! They have many other drinks such as cappacinos, New Orleans coffee, seasonal drinks... So good! Decently priced too... My combination cost under $6 (5.85 USD) which is great for a coffee place. I highly appreciated the accommodation with my almond milk and decaf cause I have stomach issues. Thank you so much would 10/10 recommended and will be back!!!!

Coffee is good but service is even better. Ordered a Armando cold brew black and white mocha. The white mocha is way too sweet for me but the Armando was amazing. What's even better is that the business model of a non profit.

grabbed a cappuccino to go, staff was super helpful in helping me decide what to pick and loved that they could make it half sweet. I got a half sweet maple french toast cappuccino which was delicious and well-made. will happily come back and drink some more coffee while supporting their mission. other references: my medium cappuccino was $5.38, bathroom has a key with front staff, at 7:45am the fridge was full with food providing plenty of options

Cozy spot with good coffee and pastries. Stay away from the breakfast sandwich - most bland thing I’ve ever eaten.

Very good local coffee. Wanted something that wasn't Dunkin's or Starbucks ever. Clean, nice looking place with good brewed coffee. Breakfast sandwiches were very good too. Had a homemade taste vs microwaved like many similar coffee places. They sell mugs, coffee cups, etc also

Very nice local coffee shop in downtown Boston. Staff was very friendly and were patient as we tried to figure out what drink to get from the seemingly unlimited options they had. I was impressed about how courteous the gentleman at the cash was in asking (not just us, but everyone ordering) whether it was okay if their coffe had whole milk in it. Additionally, the staff was very generous in prioritizing my wife to change our 5-month old in the restroom with the changing table. The drinks were great! The smores mocha my wife had was unique and delicious. The butterscotch brownie mocha I got was also very good. We plan on coming back here before we leave Boston. Highly recommended!

Well Coffee House really has good coffee. I tried their hot café mocha and it was so good. I wish they had one in Houston. I would go every day to pick up one. Try it and you’ll like it 👍🏻

A wonderful little shop if you want to try some coffee in unusual flavors. They have a pretty seasonal menu, and like I said, they tend to have wild flavors, like Maple French Toast and Chocolate Pecan. I got the Mango Dream and it was pretty great!

  • 5/5 Marina B. 6 months ago on Google
So good!! Amazing latte flavors. We got the crème brûlée and maple French toast lattes. They were so flavorful but not too sweet. We also got the spinach and ricotta croissant and it was light and buttery! The breakfast sandwich looked good as well

Bias and un-bias review! Best coffee by far, multiple blends and brews, so many flavors and flavor combinations! Best staff, and most kind staff. Coffee is cheaper than Starbucks and 10x better. Amazing pastry's! Phenomenal location! Amazing, nonprofit business, volunteers almost every single day, and they're all friendly and out standing willing to bend over backwards. Some of the tour groups even stop in here from time to time on their route. Overall, you're not going to find a better coffee shop in Boston let alone New England.

Best Coffee in Boston! Especially their Cold Brew. It goes down so smooth and it doesn't taste too sweet or gross like other places. I think Dunkins Coffee is super sweet. Starbucks coffee is pretty sweet. And The Well is just right. You can also request to make things half sweet or put a number of pumps. You should also try their specialty light roast, the Wayfarer? I think it's called. It's a globally awarded winning coffee. So worth it. Not to mention the whole place is a nonprofit and donates to other nonprofits in the community.😁 11/10 highly recommend

Cozy place, central location. Interesting selection of seasonal lattes (Almond & Honey looked intriguing). The regular latte was not bad, but only slightly above average and lavender macaron tasted like soap. Still, good vibe overall, will stop by again.

I go there with my dad and sister every Saturday and we love it and we love helping local businesses and cafes and when we go there we get treated with respect and dignity and what I love about them is that they give you the time to order and that’s what a good cafe is supposed to look like. Oh and also if you go there try there frozen chocolate it’s made of ice, hot chocolate and milk.

Very clean establishment with friendly attentive staff! Best off all, even if you come at the end of the day the coffee tastes great and fresh! I have walked past this place several times but recently needed a coffee after 4PM. Dunkins was closed, Starbucks was closed so we tried "The Well." We were all welcomed as we walked in the door, seats were available, no trash on the counters or chairs and a diverse selection of tasty coffee!

I absolutely love spending time at The Well Coffeehouse! The coffee here is the best I have personally had, and my favorite is the coldbrew! There are endless possibilities for drink flavors and it is really fun to try something new every visit! The atmosphere at the well is unlike any other coffeehouse I’ve been to and I feel right at home every time! :) I would absolutely recommend giving The Well a try!!!
