I recently had a rather disappointing experience at my usual go-to restaurant. Having been a loyal customer for years, I had high expectations for both the quality of service and the food. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a letdown on both fronts. To start with, the customer service was simply abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked the usual warmth and attentiveness. It was evident that they were in no rush to accommodate my needs or address my concerns. Thankfully the boss came along to help and that’s when all the staff started to work. Moreover, the food itself was far from satisfactory. I had ordered my favorite pasta dish, eagerly anticipating its usual deliciousness. However, when I arrived home what I had , was a plate of dry, undercooked pasta that resembled more of a culinary experiment gone wrong. The texture was disappointingly hard and the flavors were completely lacking, leaving me longing for the delightful experience I had come to associate with this restaurant. Very very disappointed. The chicken seemed to be undercooked and no flavors.Although the owner Anthony I believe his name was offered to make a new dish I couldn’t be wasting any of my time going back and forth , but I’m going to take a break from this place for now even if it’s closed to home it saddens me that I don’t want to go.

This is a MUST VISIT when in Boston as its literally a landmark! Every pastry you can imagine and perfectly prepared and amazing. We didn't get any of their pizza but people in line said it was really great, also many Italian favorites from the oven as well as salads and antipasti treats. Will go back FOR SURE WHEN WE RETURN.

I've tried 3 leches cake and ice cream cake, they're not sweet at all very flavorless, cakes are meant to be sweet or else why would I eat the load of calories?

Every visit I’ve made to Spinelli’s has been a pleasant experience. The ladies working here are so welcoming and friendly! I frequently stop by to purchase their 3-leches cake and they never disappoint!

This is the place that you want to go for cakes!! I cant just get enough of how good their cakes are. Spinellis never disappoints

Spinelli's is great - very fair prices, lots of classic Italian dishes to choose from and excellent baked goods. No reason not to turn to them for catering needs or even just making a family gathering a little easier. I like the pizza too - if you time it right you can get there pizza for a dollar a slice - they put it on sale after it has been out a while - still great though.

I been going there for the last 30 years and it gets better 😌 💯 beautiful place service above and beyond delicious food 😋 and good reasonable fare price 😋

The food was amazing here. We came from out of state and were wanting great Italian food. That is what we received. The portions were more than we could have expected. We had dessert that was top notch as well! The young lady that helped us was very polite and was amazingly helpful. Boston should be proud of this establishment! Top notch customer service!

I loved my cake but was told the wrong size. I think the woman was new because I have never ordered there and asked what a small cake looked like and she obviously showed me the wrong size as the cake I picked up was waaaaay smaller than what was shown to me.

Best meat rice balls in boston. The half moons are great too. I've never had a bad meal from Spinelli's. Been going here since I can remember with my father.

Made a quick stop prior to the airport. Lobster tails are absolutely amazing and traveled surprisingly well.
