PLEASE don’t come here. For your safety and sanity. They will yell at you for your tip. The woman followed us out harassing us to tip 18%. That we HAVE to. There is NO law that requires this. She slammed down our recipes and food. She forgot water for one of us. We were yelled at even though we were respectful and super easy orders (just a few apps). The food isn’t fully cooked. You’ll have to chase the waitress to get your order taken. Everything is very fried and empty on the inside. The tables are sticky and unclean. Be careful. I’ll be checking my bank account to make sure they didn’t charge us more for the tip. There are plenty of better places in the area. I hope they go out of business because it’s not safe and a scary experience. Several bad practices.

They call this orange chicken… Don’t be deceived by the size of each chicken finger, this overpriced $16 order is actually only a handful of chicken strips similar to the size of a McDonald French fry and heavily coated in flour. These are chicken fingers deceptively covered in sauce. Also the chicken taste drier than dog food. In a period when customer service is key to business success, they wouldn’t even consider exchanging my order upon my expression of dissatisfaction. The food quality (at least for orange chicken) for this restaurant has fallen in quality over the years. Try somewhere else.

Nice hole in the wall mom and pop. It is my first time here and was recommended by my brother who lives in Boston. So far love it and my family likes their food. Traditional Ala- cart style Chinese cuisine. As far as the ambience don't expect Ritz but it is clean.

Authentic experience. delicious food. Large menu. Can go here for food, but don't expect great service. Our check cost more than expected, but we did not receive an itemized check or anything. So I do think they automatically add tip to the check already. So be aware. Also dishes that typically come with a small portion of rice, did not here. Anyways, when you take money automatically without letting someone know, it's considered stealing. Make sure you ask for the check.

This is a must for me every time I visit Boston. The restaurant is not fancy but the food is so good. I always order twin lobsters with scallions and ginger. This time I also ordered clams with black sauces, which goes so well with plain steamed rice. The seafood crispy noodles were so so. We chowed down the Stir Fried Pea Pod Stems and cleaned the plate. We also liked the Beef with Chinese Parsley soup. Our service was great. It’s a no frill restaurant, and I was happy with the friendly server who was attentive.

Great experience and food. Bring as many friends to dine with as possible. So many great items on the menu to be shared. I especially loved the lobster sautéed with ginger and scallions. Ordered the spot prawns, server showed them to us live. The sautéed bodies were delicious and sweet like lobster tail. They also served us the heads fried with peppers. Truly lovely.

Pretty good authentic vibe. Scallion pancakes were meh and really small. Decent portions, the crispy orange beef was good. Crab was so big lol

First visit here as one of my colleagues recommended their fish dishes. Got their sizzling flounder house special dish. I am not sure what kind of fish it was. Dish was ok for me. Since I went by my self, it was not practical or economical to order more than one dish as it was enough food for one person. I wish they had a dish with variety of food in a single dish instead of one item. It was my fault that I didn't ask them questions but assumed house special is a dish with multiple fish choices. It might be a better experience as a group than single person.

Although it may seem shady from the outside, the food is very fresh, and the service is great. Make sure to try the duck. It's excellent.

This place is an absolute hole in the wall gem that you should go with family and friends. Food is incredible and the staff is friendly and fast with the food, but do anticipate a language barrier and a “ruder” experience (they’re not intentionally rude at all though). The seating area itself is smaller and dirtier than most the average American restaurant, but you know what they say about hole in the walls - the worse the experience the better the food. Ordered the mayo shrimp, beef stir fry, duck, wonton soup, some special fried pork, and a sweet and sour beef dish. This comfortably fed 8 people. I recommend you order one dish per person, and come with more than 3 people to get a full experience. Shrimp, beef stir fry, duck, and the wonton soup are absolute delicacies. They’re not special dishes, but when you’re craving Chinese food you can literally never go wrong with it. The special fried pork was a bit too salty and the fried skin felt very low quality - perhaps old oil was used. Sweet and sour beef dish was great I think - I just don’t like sour meats but everyone else at my table did. Place was small, a bit dirty, and a bit smelly. Just a heads up, but much more than safe and comfortable anyway. At the end they gave us complimentary Che (Vietnamese sweet drink dessert). Absolute delight and pleasant surprise. The check was also negotiable. I will be coming back here.

So, I searched for good Chinese lobster in Boston and this one pops up as top 10. I went at 6pm. There was only one table. Pretty empty for dinner time. Not a good sign. But waitress friendly enough so against my gut instinct, I decided to stay. They presented us 3lbs lobster with 2 claws. But when the lobster arrived, there was only a quarter. When confronted, the waitress said we have to order "double lobsters" to have both claws?? Please see pic. The taste was starchy. Taste isn't authentic. Service was lacking too. They never refill the tea. They added 19% tip to the bill automatically for 2 person. I told them their services lacking, and don't deserve 19%. She asked how much, I said 15% and she just refunded me the 4%. Avoid this tourist trap. If there's no Chinese eating in a Chinese restaurant during rush dinner hour, that's a bad sign. Should have followed my instinct.

Id say for every dish that we ordered clams, beef, chicken especially the 3lbs lobster, overall our bill is surprisingly not that expensive considering this is in Boston. Food taste is really good authentic Service is great! Clean bathroom 👍👍👍

Delicious canto style foods. We liked that it is opened late at night. However, they have messy bathroom, sketchy late night crowds, and low ceilings.

This is one of my go-to places in Chinatown. One of the waitresses is super friendly and will explain the menu thoroughly if you are unfamiliar with this cuisine. Food is very fresh and delicious.

If you're on the prowl to satisfy your late night munchies, this place is open every night until midnight as of last week of when writing this review. Many places in Chinatown still close at 10pm or 11pm and I stopped by here to pick up a quick bite to take home after a long night of work. I was relieved to see this restaurant open and ordered some salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings were not overcooked or dry but was a bit salty and not very spicy, so there was a lot to be desired. If you're planning on dining in, you can and they have plenty of seats.

Great place for a group of people (detail see below) + super decent flavor; classical 酒楼 feeling + helpful waitress, with recommendations and help out in ordering + kind chefs, who came out and said thank you to customers + free desert at the end; very satisfying 30 per person The kind of place you go for big gathering

This place is constantly amazing, never had a bad dish here. Real Chinese food, great service and fast food. Love love the egg tofu dish! I took my family to eat here when they visit and they loved it as well. Kind staff, speedy food, what's not to love?

This place is AMAZING OR AMAZINGLY delicious! Their beans clams soaked in this bevel brown sauce is to die for../. Their spicy fluffy shrimp tofu is nothing like it …. Their lobster roll s definitely a MUST to try…. Great service. 2 bad they don’t have the drinks non alcoholic to match! Service very friendly and respectful. I have been going there since 2000 never failed me.
