Skek is a place I feel like I can call home, even after the first visit... The food is great and priced reasonably. And the staff is incredible, they are so kind and they seem to have such a good time!! They make any day of the week a party!

Great place! It is divided in two, a restaurant section and a bar section. I think the place is super cozy and the staff is sooo friendly and helpful. They are very fast and the food is great. The location is also super central and the prices are super nice! Definitely one of the places that I frequently visit!

Myself and my husband visited here after finding it in the happy cow app. We had the bread basket with houmous for the starter, then my husband had the skek burger and I had the jackfruit burger. Mine was out of this world, and my husband said the same. They have a small menu with a few vegan options, but what they have is great for bar food. The atmosphere was lovely, service was great, all round recommended.

Went there 2 weeks ago, the waitress did a mistake with the table when we had to pay (charged us for another table which was twice Time the price of our). She told us that they have no money to give us back... Asked me my account number to transfer the money, which I did... Obviously I am still waiting for the money even if She confirmed me they did the transfer 2 weeks ago. That would be the MINIMUM that You would transfer me the money. Otherwise it's calmes strealing and might be punished by Law.

Good vibes when I visited this place with my girl. Music was chill, also enjoyed the outdoor seats with some beers. Service was superb 😌

My boyfriend and I have been here twice in our short stay in Amsterdam, each time we've been happy. Although their menu is short (varied toasted sandwiches and snacks) depending on the time of day, we really enjoyed the laidback atmosphere and relaxed staff. The prices are very fair for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. There are a few tables downstairs and a few tables outside. It seems to be student-run, and there is a 25% discount on food if you're a student.

Nice vibe, rustic-modern aesthetic & smaller version of Kritereon. Drinks are well priced, some games to play and a lot of decorations to look at. Nice Bartenders as well :)

Buzzing with interesting people, cool stylish waitresses, a 2nd floor - quietness, and great local and international food. LIke the live music sometimes though only on Fridays. YOU GUYS ROCK. Keep at it.

Not welcoming in the slightest. I have never felt so unwanted in an LGBTQ+ friendly place. To be overcharged just because I’m not local was shocking. To be lied to my face means I will never set foot back in that place again. Honestly upset and disappointed. I’m actually annoyed I have to leave this place 1 star. Won’t ever be returning.

Unfortunately me and boyfriend have payed 21 € too much by mistake of a waitress and the money were never returned to us. Really disappointed. The restaurant is not contacting us, not picking up the phone, doesn't answer for the mails. A big scum.

Feels like sitting in a living room with your friends. Cosy atmosphere with an alternative/ student vibe. If you are up for that I would recommend spending an evening there. They offer a small variety of vegan snacks. Even as a non-vegan I must say the food is great and I didn't miss anything. However, the prices are quite high considering the amount and cost of the products. I would go back to grab a beer but probably no food this time.

We randomly went in because there was a jazz concert on. Turned out the place is ran by students. Atmosphere was great and the guys (i assume students) playing music were awesome. We didn't get food, just beers - which were as in any other bar

There is no longer a student discount. There was a cute little concert going on which was fun. It was a bit expensive and moves slowly, but it was also SUUUUPER busy. Staff was sweet

Wonderful place for dinner and very affordable! Most of the dishes are either vegan or veggie, and they all tasted lovely! Staff was really helpful and kind! Cant wait to go back!

Where to begin… Well, its a very, very nice and cozy place with friendly people and a superb team! Especially Camila is a very heartwarming and funny person and mainly responsibly for my 5* Rating. Altogether I highly recommend that beautiful location…

I do not understand how this place has so many positive reviews I ordered: - Fries - Nacho deluxe (which according to the menu, come from the oven) The fries we're good but waaaaay too salty, my mouth felt like the sea. But the biggest dissapointment was by far the nachos. While it came with a nice amount of nachos, they were barely warm and the cheese (there barely was any cheese to begin with) was barely molten. It didn't even stick to the nachos, it would constantly fall off. I basically ate dry and cold nachos with only some sauce for €8,50! This could have NEVER come from an oven. The only nice thing i can say is that the staff seems happy with what they do and are kind. Maybe i was unlucky, but if you ever come here to eat, DO NOT order the nachos.

Great place with exceptionally friendly staff. Burgers are epic, but it's also a good place to just grab a drink and enjoy the music & atmosphere. Also very suitable for vegetarians/vegans with plant-based options that are just as tasty as the non-veg ones! Very affordable given the location, suitable for both locals and tourists.

Given 2 half beers and charged €24 for the privilege. Then when questioned apparently it’s a non local price despite the menu saying it should have been €6.50 each. Don’t even bother with this place if you’re visiting. Unfortunately really not a welcoming venue. Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend. Toilets also disgusting and feet are sticking to the floor. No wonder they feel they need to overcharge people because the place is clearly going to the dogs!!! Scam artists!!!
