I came here with a small group of friends for dinner. I made our reservation with the online booking tool. We were celebrating two birthdays at this dinner and I made a note on our reservation with the names of the birthday girls. The hostess never informed our server of the birthdays. We ate our meal and there wasn't a happy birthday wish. Upon paying I asked our server what was the point of filling out the celebration information if nothing was done about it. She was apologetic and told me the hostess never informed her. She immediately brought out a complimentary tiramisu for us to share. I appreciate the gesture and that was very kind of her. For the future, the hostess should do a better job at reading the details of each reservation. The food was good but not the best. My friend had the salmon with beans and grains. It was very heavy and the beans were bitter. The spicy sauce for the rigatoni is actually very spicy. The portions were large and shareable which was nice. I'm not sure I'll dine here again based on my experience.

I really enjoyed all the food here. The pasta and pizza were super delicious with good flavors. The Caesar salad was the only disappointment, I highly recommend you guys change the name of this dish or make it a proper Caesar salad. It was a grilled head of lettuce with some dressing on top, I would have much rather preferred a cut up salad evenly tossed with dressing as you would when one orders a Caesar salad

Nice interior, but the food was lacking. Pastas and mussels were extremely salty, and the pizzas were dry and slightly overcooked. Carpaccio was alright. Tiramisu was the only dish we'd order again. We came here ~8 months ago and were very impressed by the food - not sure if the chefs have changed since then?

The place is quite cozy. We had a group of 6. The food are amazing, food can be shared with everyone. Good that they have change the dishes. The mussel dish is most delicious, however wish the food platter can have more variety of cheese in it. We were there until late night, ordered desserts and they were absolutely tasty as well.

Restaurant is new in area for a year now. Food is great and service was amazing. Luxurious place to spend special time with family and friends. Different varieties of Italian cuisine that all are great. Waitresses are friendly and helpful. Prices a little high but the food , service and atmosphere deserve.

Authentic Italian cuisine? IMHO, not quite, there shouldn't be any cream in a carbonara. Hand made pasta? Nope, not that either. But that doesn't make this restaurant less impressive. The food is well balanced, good quality and quality. Wine and cocktails are also very well done. Service is excellent. You just have to pay for parking or better yet, take SkyTrain. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and service here at Claudio's Ristorante. Please make sure you book online a week or two in advance since it's Christmas party season, and if you have a party of 7 and above, call the restaurant to get situated. We had over 6 people, and they made we were taken care of. The Insalatas are big, and 2 or 3 people can definitely share one as an appy. The beetroot salad was delicious, the beets were well seasoned, the apples were crisp, and the endives tied up the flavors together. Adding burata made it even better. The Panzenella was also great. The spaghetti carbonara was a masterpiece in its simplicity. It was saucy and they didn't cheapen out on the sauce, which I liked. For the Dolci, we shared the Tiramisu and the Torta. The Torta is by far one of the best desserts I have had all year long. It was not too sweet or overpowering. It is like having a cheesecake but better. The texture and creaminess were delightful. Total highlight of the night. The staff all around were helpful and friendly. We had such a great time. I can't wait to bring my other friends around to try this place out.

It’s always hard to find a yummy Italian restaurant in Burnaby… but now there is one. ❤️ My friend recommended us to give this a try because it’s close by sky train and so we did. The food was amazing! We had 3 appies to share and the antipasto Selection was amazing and the beef cappricio was favourful and the sauce for our mussel was delicious. The mussels can be better. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were so sweet and had a hint of lemon. The pastas were super tasty and the pizza was thin and had a good Texture. We had a bottle of white wine because it was 50% off and our waitress was super friendly. To end the day, we had affagato and it really made the meal so great. The vibe was great and everyone was super friendly! Highly recommended and will be heading back again.

The food is as above average (pizzas tasted so good and pasta was OK) Atmosphere and customer service (Angel) were great. The cocktail are unique and tasty. It was our anniversary and the bartender had free shots for us

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Claudio's Ristorante. The pasta was excellent, and the dessert was a delightful finish to a wonderful meal. The staff was polite and friendly, making it a memorable visit. Highly recommend!
