I normally rate fast food with a generic "just another A&W" or something like that. But this location goes the extra mile with service and tableservice. There are sinks outside of the washroom near the dining area, what a great idea! I saw someone try to tip $5 but it was refused!... They should be able to accept tips! This is why only 4 stars.

One of the best service fast food locations I've been too. Anyways respectful, courteous, pleasant and thoughtful. Have come here at least 10 times if not more and haven't once had a negative experience. Plus the food actually tastes better some how despite it coming from the same company maybe good service does make good food.

As soon as you walk in to this location, you will be greeted with smiles and welcome homely feeling. Staff are all very nice and very kind. A seldom sight these days. Definitely my new fav location. I've been to so many A&W locations but will Definitely drive back here instead because of their friendly staff. Rate the Staff here 100 plus out of 10. ❤️

I went here on Saturday for a breakfast. We thought this was the cleanest A&W with plenty of tables. We wanted to get breakfast without knowing they serve burger menu in the morning. They got hand washing station and condiment section including hot sauce. I know A&W used to give out Sriracha sauce many years back. This location was clean and quiet to dine in. I was so excited to use a coupon for 2 Teen Burger Combos for $15.99. We got frosted mugs for our drinks. Burgers and fries were freshly delivered by staff. They got our orders correctly without salt on the fries. Our food tasted so good with hot sauce. Besides we had no trouble finding our table on Saturday morning. I love A&W burgers as usual. This location was pretty good for freshness and cleanliness. Burgers and fries were excellent, same with drinks.

Bought papa burger combo only mustard, paid almost 16 i think. Got home within 5min open the bag fries n burger both warm. The burger maker made a mistake cause i heard the front lady telling d guy mustard only, he took d burger wipe everything off and put it back in the bag so just very slight mustard didn’t even bother adding mustard. I have to put the fries into d air fryer n microwave the burger so my husband can enjoy it.

This A&W fast food restaurant amazed me. The staff were very friendly and worked hard. They did a lot of cleaning while we were eating there. They served you very well. They cleaned up your tray and asked how your food was. The food was very good. I like their chicken strips. They even have two sinks for customers for washing. One is higher for adults and one is for children. This is a good family restaurant.

Asked for everything hot and fresh as it was my brothers last visit before leaving to London. Food was hot and fresh. As well as we were given a hot apple pie to enjoy on the house. The server went over and beyond. Thank you very much

The store was really clean and well maintained. The staffs were really friendly and accommodating. The food was clean and the utensils and cups were clean as well. I’ve been to many a&w branches but this is the best I’ve been to so far.

Today’s service was very poor. They didn’t add the cheese I paid $1.45 to add. Chicken was dry. Hash browns were stone cold and tasteless from being hot held for too long. $12.26 for bad food that didn’t even include a drink. Been here a few times now and today was the worst. It’s usually pretty slow food service and the food is always hit and miss. One good thing I can say is about a clerk called Ali who is always super nice and friendly. A couple of girls also give free apple pie when the wait is long. Till service is much better than the kitchen staff who often walk around chatting or looking like they have no idea what they are doing.

This has got to be the best A&W branch there is. Me and my son like to eat poutine at A&W like once or twice a week. We go 2-3 different locations regularly but this one of Glenlyon is our favourite. Great service, always fresh and crispy fries. Poutine here is always good. Today we got served by a lady with the name tag Kathleen. She is awesome! Offered me an ice cold glass of water without question. Then, checked up on my little boy to make sure he was comfortable drinking from a glass cup. Wonderful service and seemingly a great team from all my previous times eating here.

It is simply the best A&W location. Although it is next to the busy road, it is quite peaceful when you have a meal there. Outside seating available is quite when it is sunny. Breakfast was very nice and hot. 12 pm is usually quite busy there.

Shout out to girl vanessa!!!! She was very polite and smart. Usually there is long wait, but today’s service was quick. This place need more staff during evening hours.

The food is always as expected for A&W but the service at this location is always slow. Took 20 minutes to get through the line and get my burger and root beer. They also don’t fill the root beer fully and it spills all down the side of the cup. Glad I used a coupon because I wouldn’t have been happy paying full price for 3/4 of a root beer. If the line wasn’t so long I would have asked them to fill it to the top.

It is unbelievable that they refuse to provide tap water to consumers. Tap water is accessible to everyone. Unless you purchase a Dasani bottle from them, they will refuse water to consumers. This was an extremely entitled lady at the front cashier who refused the wayer. She was working there today Friday February 10th at 1216am.

Probably the cleanest fast food restaurant I have ever been in, and the best service too! The server was friendly and helpful, and even came by to each table to ask how we liked the food! Have never had service like this at a fast food restaurant. Food was hot and fresh. All dishes/packaging were either reusable or compostable. For a fast food restaurant, this is as good as it could possibly get!

The manager was grumpy. We already ordered our food when I realized that I needed some tens. I asked nicely if I can exchange my bill. The food attendant asked the manager for permission. The manager, without even glancing at me in an angered tone, said no. I don’t mind her saying no, but I feel that answering in a nicer tone would have made the experience better.

For a fast food place, A&W has some good options. And this location has a relatively nice (albeit small footprint) interior with high ceilings. But what this place has that most other fast food places doesn't have... Frosty cold mugs that they serve their apple juice in (almost making it look like a frosty cold beer). Usually you see this with their signature root beer but I appreciate that they served our early morning apple juice order in this nice cold mug. Sure beats a limp paper straw in a paper cup.

A clean and well keep outdoor seating area. Lot of parking in a convenient location. The food and service are good. My wife tells me that she finds this restaurant is so good and clean. The only restaurant with washing station designed for family. You don't have go to washrooms for just cleaning your hands before you eat. One of the sink is made specially for kids. The staff are helpful and keep cleaning the counters.

Had a bad experience here and never went back since then. Went here regularly but one night my wife and I went there at 11:30pm and everything was fine until I wanted to get a refill with a new frosted mug. The supervisor told us we were lucky to get a frosted mug the first time because they don't use them after a certain time. Left a bad feeling in us and we never returned.

Ordered a double chicken buddy, was told it would be 3-4 minutes. Cool whatever that's totally fine. It was closer to 10 minutes, also fine , whatever fresh chicken? Great! A couple bites in I realize that they gave me one fresh chicken patty, and one had definitely been sitting in the heater for a while. Edges were hard color was darker, definitely served me an old patty with a new one. Pretty much ruined the fresh one pairing it with an old one. Why wouldn't you just make me a fresh sandwich if I'm waiting guys? Is this common practice? The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is cause the guys were nice and the place was clean.. but come on. Is it laziness or cheapness ? Probs won't go to this location again.

Great for family with kids as they have sinks outside of the washroom - kid friendly height too! The only issue is their tray return area is small so if the staffs don't quickly clear the used cups and trays it looks very messy. Would be good if they have another high chair or booster seat. Only one high chair visible during our visits.

Eat in, take out, or curbside.. this Home of the Burger Family is conveniently located amongst a handful of restaurants. Friendly service & the place kept tidy. Definitely a nice to bring your little me ones & watch them be amused with the kids sink 👌🏻 Not to mention that they're open 24 hours.. for when you crave the Best Burger Ever at 2300 hours! 🍔

I often go to this place to buy a burger and chicken strips. I order papa Burger, but they always give me a Mama burger. The staff may have eaten the meat. After a lifetime of eating aw, isn't it normal for five chicken strips to give two sauces? You recently bought 10 of them and gave them to two sauce clerks? I called the clerk, and the clerk swore so much that she hung up and never picked up, never went back, and my family never went back. I went to there March.22 at 1:30am, the staff was too rude！

I 've been to many A&W restaurants here in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and along the way up to the Prince George area. This location has to be the best run A&W restaurant in BC. Though not the biggest restaurant, it is always clean and there is a washing station outside of the washrooms that is handy. There is also outdoor seating for those sunny days. Staff is always friendly and checking on how's the food or offering a coffee refill. The food is nicely prepared and albeit even though it's the same A&W recipe, I find the food tastes better at this outlet. My favorites are the All Canadian Breakfast and the Uncle Burger Combo. It's always a nice pitstop for the Missus and I when we are biking in the area.
