The restaurant is so good!! We tried pizzas, pasta and salads and everything was fantastic. The pizzas are handmade with a wood-fired oven and the dough is just perfect. Coffees and juices are delicious too. Also the atmosphere there in the side of the Nile was amazing and the staff is so kind. We really had a good time! We will repeat for sure if we are back in Cairo. Thank you very much from your spanish friends and good luck. Muchas gracias amigos!!

This is my second visit to this place and each time they manage to exceed my expectations and go above and beyond. The atmosphere is really nice and they have good taste of music. The restaurant overlooking the nile so it’s such a nice to have a slice of pizza with that view. The Italian pizza is spot on and doesn’t take long to be prepared (they have a big a** oven). The bolognese pasta was so delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to the best waiter Ahmed Khaled for being super attentive and caring to address any requests we had. The bathroom was clean and sanitized. The pizza was a bit on the pricy side but given the quality of the ingredients, I can see why. I will return starving for more pizza soon.

The place is very cozy. It has left great impressions with there hospitable hosts, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. I’d definitely go there again to try the whole menu.

Really great pizza near downtown cairo, I really enjoyed the Bufala, the tomato sauce is really dominant in the flavour which is something that I liked. The pepperoni had too much cheese for my liking. Friendly staff and good atmosphere

First time to try it and it was recommended by my friend. Very nice recommendation. I’ve tried the fries and spaghetti bolognese, both were yummy and super fresh. Also, the pizza smelled really nice so, next time insha2allah will try it out.

Could be the best pizza in Egypt, I’ve tried several napolitan pizzas in Egypt & Europe, but il Nilo was surprisingly better than all of them. Literally the pizza’s dough is out of this world.

Lovely place with a great service. I ate lasagna and pizza. The mango and blueberry smoothies were amazing. The pizza was just like in Italy and the lasagna had a lovely Arabic feel to it. Nicely priced (paid 24 euros for 2 people). Liked the coffee too!

A hidden gem!! It was an exceptional experience, I hadn't had such a perfect experience in my life before! What should I say? The service was beyond perfect, the staff was so friendly (not in a saccharine way) they were so professional, polite and they have this genuine smile on their face all of the time, you can see that they enjoy their work! (That's something rare in Egypt iyk) The place: the location was just wow! Perfectly chosen, it's alongside the Nile (the Nile there is so clean and quiet) the real definition of serenity! They also have a small garden and guess what!? Inside this garden, you'll find peacocks! Real peacocks! How cool is that!? (Please, don't ever hurt them, they are so peaceful and beautiful) there are also a lot of doves! Moving on to the food, it was bussin'! It was insanely good! My description won't do it justice you have to try it by yourself, I've tried their heavenly Italian pizza (I chose the pepperoni one) it was sooo good, the tomato sauce they're using is heavenly good, they use high-quality ingredients, I also tried their Alfredo fettuccine pasta and it was nothing less than their Italian pizza, it was very tasty and fresh! And super yummy, the prices were so affordable also. Give them a try and thank me later!

il Nilo has the closest thing to authentic pizza that I’ve been able to find in Egypt. I ordered the Margarita pizza, and it was pretty good but just had way too much cheese on it and it wasn’t cooked long enough. If the pizza has less cheese and was cooked longer it would have been much better. I also ordered the lemon and shrimp pasta, which was fine, but lacked seasoning. The texture of the pasta itself was also slightly off as I think it may have been over cooked. The final dish we got was the garlic bread. The garlic bread was my least favorite dish as it didn’t taste like garlic at all and looked like sand which bread with melted cheese. The passion fruit mojito was very good, so I would recommend you try that mojito if you visit this restaurant. The seating was nice as it was on the Nile, but when we went there were so many flies and bees that it made it difficult to enjoy the food because we had to swat the flies away every few seconds. The staff was kind and the service was good.

The atmosphere is just amazing with the nile view and the peacocks , I had the margarita pizza and it was fresh, the pizzas are handmade in front of you The only thing that was missing was the condiments such as olive oil

I spent about a week in Egypt, this place was next to where i was staying, I ate a meal there nearly every day They were literally amazing, all the staff were very friendly and hospitable, their chocies are very remarkable and delicious I enjoyed every minute I spent there

I really liked this place, its cute, on the Nile, a little expensive but in line with similar places. I like the settings and table clothes, they have 7 real peacocks which look well looked after and happy. The menu dosnt have ANY DISCRIPTIONS so you just have to guess from the name of the dish what you are getting, which is stupid. We ordered a mushroom and also bacon and pineapple pizza. The base of pizza is DELICIOUS.... but they haven't quite mastered the art of the toppings. I think the tomato sauce needs more herbs and the they need to use a little less cheese. But the pizza was nice (but it could Be AMAZING with small adjustments) My husband loved tge pineapple pizza but apparently its hard to get pizza places that serve this in Egypt Also for a place this price, i expect the best so condiments such as olive oil and chilli oil should be brought out! I would go again but im not in a rush

il Nilo has brilliantly brought the essence of Italy to Garden City, making my experience there simply perfect. I must say, their pizza is delectable, and the coffee they serve is truly exceptional. The staff is not only welcoming, but also incredibly friendly. I would rate my experience a perfect 10 out of 10, without hesitation. Additionally, the beautiful view of the Nile only adds to the already magnificent atmosphere at Il Nilo. It was a feast for both my taste buds and my eyes. Highly recommended!

First of all the ambience is magical. A small cozy Italian restaurant with the view of the Nile and a few peacocks in their garden what more could you ask for? I had a pepperoni pizza and a bufala pizza, both were amazing. The melted cheese was perfect on top of the soft dough. The bufala pizza was exceptional by all means, highly recommended!! I also got the blueberry mojito, it was perfect just to my liking. The service was beyond amazing and all tge staff are very very friendly. It was definitely a magical place. Highly recommended!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish! I went twice and the food was simply outstanding! Their pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and full of flavor. The pizza, in particular, was a standout. The crust was crispy and topped with the yummiest ingredients (Man it was the best Italian pizza I have ever tried). During our visit, The restaurant was celebrating its anniversary, and they had an event called "Make Your Own Pizza." We registered and it turned out to be THE MOST FUNN experience. It was a unique opportunity to get hands-on with the cooking process guided by the talented chefs (Abdo & Adham) We tried the below items and i give it all 10/10. - Chicken Hawaiian Pizza - Chicken Pesto Pizza - Pepperoni Pizza - Chicken Pesto Pasta - Sunshine Mojito Overall I totally recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for a one of a kind dining experience. The combination of great food, friendly staff, and the memorable "make your own pizza" event created an unforgettable dining experience.
