Ramy, our server, did a great job, and the food was excellent. I enjoyed my breakfast. I love the setting outside, and the service here is excellent. Prices are relatively cheaper than most of the restaurants in Maadi. If you are looking for a good meal outdoors or indoors, it’s your place. I recommend the Salomon and poached egg croissant, the best I had for breakfast, and my least favorite item on the breakfast menu is the omelette! It’s good, but they serve the omelet on toast, which is usually crispy and hard to eat. Moreover, it comes with a side of mushrooms which are a bit oily but tasty. I also tried the dinner menu, but I need help remembering the name of the item I ordered. It is a great place to eat with friends or work on your laptop alone, and the service is excellent.

The food and service are outstanding. Great menu with healthy options, like tasty salads and smoothies. You can also bring your dog! It’s pet-friendly in the outdoor area. Pleasant location also. But it’s so popular that it’s very crowded and packed with people, and if you care about Covid precautions even the outdoor area will be uncomfortable for you. And it’s loud too.

Went to Ovio Restaurant in old Maadi in September 2021 for the first time and I really liked it. The outdoor area was cosy and comfortable. The food - had a great Burger with French fries - was delicious. Waiting time was not too long, though all available seats were occupied! The staff was friendly and they were wearing masks 😷👍🏻!!! Prices are €€€! Can absolutely recommend this place to anybody 🍔🍟🥗😊👍🏻!!!

I tried this place alot and i always come back. I had the pleasure of dining at this enchanting restaurant with a delightful Christmas menu. The broccoli soup was a symphony of flavors, and the combination of succulent chicken and perfectly seasoned potatoes left me utterly satisfied. The mouthwatering salad, adorned with nuts and apples, added a refreshing and festive touch to the meal. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, making it a memorable dining experience that perfectly captured the spirit of the holiday season. Their Christmas cookies was an absolute delight for the senses. The festive aroma filled the air as I bit into each perfectly baked treat.

Food is amazing in every aspect, perfect scrambled eggs with the fresh mushrooms, the mushroom crepe was something new but also delicious and full of flavors with the hollandaise sauce. And the pancakes you can look at the pictures and decide.

This place is so overrated! Possibly one of the worst pancakes I've had in my life. Do not be deceived by the presentation. It looks really nice, but the taste, not so much. The salted caramel pancakes tasted nothing of salted caramel. Unfortunately, that was a waste of calories. The only thing the food is good for is Instagram pictures, if you're into that kind of thing.

Service was fast, attentive, and efficient. Food was excellent and portion sizes were huge. Juices and smoothies were cold and of a wide variety. Our family of 5 was each happy with their orders. We took some fresh honey to go.

Our first time Ordering from Ovio. We ordered one cheese pizza. Part was over cooked burnt crust the other part was undercooked raw dough in pizza. Clearly rushed. Not sure as first time customer I would order again. We decided to eat at ovios, outside. Excellent olive pesto and friut drinks. Frenchy sandwhich was good. Stayed away from pizza.

The food is fantastic and in most cases I'd say you get what you pay for. Except the egg with avocado on toast. The Smashed avo was spread so thin all you really tasted was the lime it was seasoned with. Pancakes other foods were great though.

The milk belgium hot chocolate was amazing but it was too sweet . The gingerbread cookies tasted like average biscuits, I don’t think they’re worth buying. And I don’t recommend the strawberry pancakes because they tasted like supermarket cakes! However the portions are good for the prices.

Spacious restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables and decent staff. Their pancakes are delicious. The seafood pizza was mediocre though with a huge empty crust. Everything is overpriced and also their air curtain for flies isn't working apparently and one landed on our pancakes, and another was having a stroll on the table but before the food was served--which I squashed. The manager supposedly changed the pancakes, hopefully, and apologized for the situation.

One of the best iconic breakfast places in cairo! You can’t go wrong with any of their breakfast. I almost tried it all :) Their iconic pancakes are incredible but i find it very hard to finish alone so make sure you split up. On the lunch side, their burgers snd salads are one the best hands-down in cairo. Their pizzas and main dishes are also very good as well. And their coffee is a spot-on and it makes a very cool place to bring your laptop snd work there.

I got the Ovio breakfast, and I didn’t think a restaurant could mess us such a simple breakfast. The ingredients tasted cheap and I couldn’t bite through the sausage, how?? Nothing was seasoned and the hash browns were very plain and soggy. The mushrooms actually made me want to throw up. I then decided to order a pistachio croissant, it was actually okay. The taste was good, if you just ignore the very tough bread. It was definitely more than a day old. Overall, I would never go here again, i ended up paying 460 for the worst meal in my life. My stomach hurt for the rest of the day and I felt like throwing up. Definitely not worth it

Disturbing experience…place is small and crowded. Ordered pancakes and hot chocolate and asked for the Belgian chocolate pancakes for take away cuz my daughter didn’t eat it. When i got home i found out they removed all the chocolate sauce and put 4 plain pancakes for almost 400 LE, u get 4 plain tasteless pancakes.
