Stayed at the Fairmont hotel for three nights and had my breakfasts at L’Uliveto Restaurant. I also had one dinner at the restaurant where I picked the Wild Truffle Risotto which I found to be really good, loaded with flavor. The staff, Ahmad and another young lady, were extremely friendly and helpful. Thumbs up 👍🏻

I have visited L'Uliveto multiple times already and it never disappoints! For me, eating out might be tricky but this place has multiple choices. Waiters always help to pick out something suitable for you and they also agree to customize some dishes to make it to your liking. The atmosphere is just beautiful.

The atmosphere is good, it’s quite and it’s not crowded. For appetizers we ordered calamari, sea food soup and mushroom soup, it weren’t that good especially the sea food it was awful, tastes like a tomato soup with fish on it. For main courses we ordered rosetto and it was okay “ average at best “, Ravioli was excellent and the lamb chops were very good and delicious. Pizzas were tasteless honestly I had to add salt, pepper and olive oil in order to eat it. In the beginning we were all confused on what to order and the waiter made it even worse with his suggestions and he was annoying honestly becausey he was insesting on taking some plates “ like the sea food soup “ and he was asking alot of questions. Overall, I was expecting a better quality of food since the prices were relatively high.

For the main course you have two options usual buffet including dishes chicken tandoori, beef medalion, and paella; and fresh fish you choose to make to order either fried, grilled, or sauteed. They have two live cooking stations one for pasta and the other makes sea food tajin and pizza. Again, not the everyday pizza or pasta, but much better. When it comes to the service, the people there are really nice. Mr Ahmed Zaki has always been nice to us, and Mr Mosaad has been very attentive and welcoming to all of our requests this time and every time we visit this wonderful place with a nice big smile. Actually, all the people working in this restaurant are very good. I would like to thank all the team there for their good work, keep it up.

The food was scrumptious. It was cooked to perfection that it literally made us melt. Even the complementary Italian bakery, they were light yet very tasty and satisfying. We had pizza and pasta which were topnotch. For example, Margherita is supposed to be some basic pizza but over there, it's heavenly. The portions are very generous and the prices are unbelievably handy. So it has it all: quality, quantity and great value for money. The staff is also exceedingly hospitable. Especially Mr. Sameh who was warm and friendly, yet very professional. He didn't rest until he made sure that we're being well-taken care of. Even the simplest details like the ambience and the interior of the restaurant: they were very cozy yet fancy. And excuse me for dwelling onto something less important, but it's very essential to me, as it helps setting off the vibe: the music playlist of the restaurant was obviously meticulously picked. There is not one bad/loud/noisy song. A mixture of classic music and contemporary calm songs that were the perfect match with the mouth-watering food and the breathtaking view of the Nile that get you cloud 9. We were 3 people we ordered for appetizers Calamari, sea soup, and mushroom soup. Soups were really average, Calamari was very good. Main courses were Ravioli good coming from Ravioli lover. Risotto was Okay. Lamp shops were descent. When it comes to pizza we ordered margarita, and Diavola basically it was tasteless pizza like Pizza Hut and the others. The service was a bit much trying to sell you all the menu as we did.
