Great Mall with access to almost everything and on the plus point they got newly opened Decathlon in there. I really liked the ambience as well as the good vibes and food selection in food court. I must visit and less crowded and more soothing then Chinook Mall.

I’m always amazed at the perfect condition of this mall after three decades. It’s managed to stay relevant after all these years. A visit today was just what I needed. The food court has a decent selection, the mall itself is still clean and modern. Many ways in and out with parking all around. The bathroom facilities were clean and well kept. It was a nice Saturday visit, just how I remember.

How about we turn this mall into an outdoor shopping centre ever since Dollarama opened and most of the high quality retail stores and half the restaurants in the food court are dead. More in more in the future, malls are stooping to a new low and becoming less relevant due to an online demand and shift in attention.

Consider shopping elsewhere if you don't want to be violated. Now this mall security service has taken down it's code of conduct. Very corrupt. Careful crimes by security are inevitable with no code of proper conduct to keep. Doesn't like free. First trying to kick rebel media off empty parking lot. Apparently religious discrimination is ok at this mall. Police on scene saying it's private property but this is a mall. No one at a mall has actual permission to be there but a mall is founded on the public being allowed on the property. Intolerance and hate alive and well at southcenter mall. I don't represent rebel media nor do I work for them but I frequently attend this mall and came upon police and Alberta health harassment of rebel media by the cibc Bank end of the lot. This behavior by the property owners and police is unfounded and an abuse of power. Tax dollars wasted on silencing the independent voice where has the free and proud Canada gone. Shame

Typical mall... reasonable store selection, a little pricey, average food court, lots of parking.

This is one of my favorite malls in calgary. It is a smaller mall but is very clean, and never over crowded. They have stoller/carts you can rent for your child that have screen attached to it for games/shows and a storage area. They had a play area but unfortunately it's closed , unsure if it will re open. Aswell the fountain is gone. Was very sad to see that go. They do a really nice Santa photo that time of year. (Once I even took a cpr class here ,.unsure if they still offer this ) Quite often they have events going on in the middle of the mall, they had wins donations, selling plants, Baby box, earth day, woman's day, food bank. Valentines day theme.

My favourite mall in Calgary! Tons of affordable brands & restaurants (Decathlon, Gap, Hudson's, IHop, Earl's). It also houses probably the largest and most organized Dollarama in Calgary. Perfectly sized mall (neither small nor too big) so it's easy to navigate, quite clean with a large food court and tons of parking space. The only thing it's missing is a cinema! Safeway and Fish Creek Library are also within walking distance to the mall.

Always a home for shopping hub, it's a great place to kill time and to see new developments. I wish their would be more local artist shops and things that people can use to showcase their projects. Otherwise, great establishment and have been coming here for year's!

Ist time to see this mall. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Take me a couple more visits to explore this mall. Have to mention that there are several places to sit down around the mall. Great if you're a senior have youngsters are mall walkers or just need to take a breather. Seems to be enough parking. And the entrance to this showing center is stunning.

Time for malls to open to full times again and capacity once again! We can all see that no one is effected the by this Covid Hoax. Our seniors over the age of 80 are the souls we need to protect. Time for people to get out of this fear mentality, love one and other and stop perpetuating this fear based narrative. Turn off the News and do your own research! Let's get our economy going again! Jason Kenney is a real Leader standing up for all Albertans! It's time we show him our support and stand up to this sick communist agenda that Trudeau is aligning Canada with! My Mall to go when I visit Calgary! It's never too busy and the stores are always well stocked(not like Chinook). The whole atmosphere is just so good. I like the well organized SportCheck branch. I visited the new Pura store for skin care and really enjoyed their truffle products. Client for life!

There is free parking for overnight stays in a dedicated area beside a large green space. Check in was easy and staff were courteous. There is decent wifi and charging stations in the mall. A short walk away there is a collection of artisan stores. Nice, convenient place to overnight on your way through.

This is a great mail with a good selection of top name stores & some niche stores you can’t find anywhere else. Good spacious food court that is always clean and has a wide range of selection. I love that this mall has such a great selection, & Canadian owed “the Bay”, yet isn’t too small or too big and overwhelming. Just perfect, with a Safeway and library & tones of bus routes, walking distance to Anderson station, nearby. I grew up near the area & they have done a fantastic job with keeping the mall modern & parking convenient. I don’t like going to the mall usually, but if I have to go to get something, southcentre is definitely my 1st choice.

I'm not a mall person but this is my go to place to shop at multiple stores. All the usual chains and services as well as some unique jewels to explore. Not too big to exhaust you but a good size with adequate parking for great access.

  • 5/5 Robert J. 2 years ago on Google
What a beautiful Christmas set up they had this year. I love some of the stores unique to the mall like sporting life, restoration hardware and crate and barrel. Convenient access from all roads leading in with to s of parking is also a big bonus

Continues to add new and enticing businesses. I remember when this mall seemed on its way out, it is now a gem of South Calgary. The food court is outstanding, clean and plenty of options for...almost all. If you are in the South side save your gas, they have it all right there

  • 3/5 Maria D. 2 years ago on Google
Super quiet all the time. But selections of stores are okay.

  • 2/5 bush M. 2 years ago on Google
Doesn't like the mall, it doesn't have any good brand store. May be just 2 or 3. Prices are higher than other mall. Food court is small. Sorry 😞 that's my opinion

  • 5/5 Jetsu 2 years ago on Google
Got great options for shopping, . Food court is well organize but requires double vax or a 72hr negative PRC/rapid test to dine in. Bunch of Chargenet station across thr mall. Check the PLUSHIES in ILAHUI.

The South Center Mall is always maintained in good condition and has an overall neat and organized appearance. Available is a good selection of branded stores there to choose from. The food court is a nice place to be since it offers a variety of satisfying dining options for all customers. Despite the fact that the shopping center is not particularly big.

South Centre Mall is a fantastic shopping destination. Its diverse range of stores caters to every taste and preference, ensuring a fulfilling retail experience. The mall's inviting ambiance, excellent facilities, and numerous dining options make it an ideal spot for a day out with friends or family. The courteous staff and ample parking add to the overall convenience, making South Centre Mall a must-visit for both locals and tourists. Highly recommended for a day of shopping and leisure!

Discover the thrill of Southcentre Mall! 🛍️ This fantastic shopping center boasts a diverse array of stores, from exclusive gems like Crate and Barrel, Decathlon, Stuffies, Nutman, and more. Though mostly outdoor, the parking area has a small covered section. Don't worry if you prefer transit; the Anderson C-train station is conveniently accessible via a walkway overpass. Step into the modern and bright food court, recently redesigned for your enjoyment. While most food court tenants are reliable franchises, you might miss the charm of hidden gem mom-and-pop food stalls. Nevertheless, Southcentre Mall stands out from the rest with its specialty stores unique to this location, making it my preferred destination among malls. Events and activities at Southcentre Mall always keep things exciting, attracting a lively crowd. And let's not forget about their top-notch Santa Claus setup that outshines any competitors! So, whether near or far, Southcentre Mall is an absolute must-visit. 🎉🎅

  • 3/5 Kelsi R. 4 months ago on Google
The Santa set up Enchanted Forest was the best in the city in my opinion... 5 stars for the Santa + Enchanted Forest and minus 2 stars for the experience leaving the mall.... overall, nice mall. It doesn't have the best food court selection. Getting out of the parking lot a few days before Christmas was a total gridlock. Took us 25 minutes to get from our parking spot to McLeod trail!!! UPDATE: We came back this year with our 2 year old and new baby. Was a great experience and the parking wasn't nearly as bad.

  • 5/5 Victor L. 4 months ago on Google
Southcentre mall is a very nice shopping centre with a variety of stores, including exclusive ones like Crate and Barrel, Decathlon, Stuffies, Nutman, etc. Parking is mostly outdoor though there is a small section of covered parking. Alternatively, transit is convenient as the Anderson C-train station is across McLeod Trail with a walkway overpass. The food court was redone several years ago and feels very modern and bright. Most of the tenants in the food court are franchises, so you have reliable expectations, but I miss the hidden gem mom-and-pop food stalls. I do enjoy coming to Southcentre Mall as opposed to other malls due to some of the specialty stores that only open at this location. Beyond the stores, Southcentre puts up events and activities that draw people in. They also have the best Santa Claus around with a way better-looking setup than their competitors. It may be close, or it may be far, but either way, Southcentre Mall is worth visiting.

This mall is underrated. It's clean, not as busy as other malls, and has lots of popular shops! Wide variety of food court options and you can rent these cool carts for kids that are shaped like cars and have tablets in them.

  • 5/5 Adam H. 1 year ago on Google
I'd say this is the nicest mall in Calgary. It has a good variety of stores, and it's not nearly as busy as Chinook. Transit access isn't as good as Chinook, but is far better than Market. Parking is pretty easy too.

  • 5/5 Derek 1 year ago on Google
Overall a good mall. It was much better when the kids play are was open. Food options are good, selection of stores are good too. Always has a good Christmas center in the middle and Halloween. Lots of sports stores too and the best Eddie Bauer in the city.

  • 5/5 Stephanie W. 2 years ago on Google
I like this mall a lot, it tends to be less busy than others but still has lots of good stores. It's nice to walk around and window shop. I enjoy that there are several stores with local items.

  • 4/5 Rachel B. 1 year ago on Google
Malls really clean and well kept, it just lacks stores that will drive more traffic. You can find your basic needs here and a few out of basic needs so overall it’s a good mall

  • 5/5 HonestMama . 1 year ago on Google
This mall is quiet compared to most malls in Calgary. It has all the main stores that you’ll love without all the chaos. Most store staff are extremely nice and always willing to help you out , say hi to you upon entering the stores tell you their deals etc. shout out to the staff at AE your entire team is so accommodating for returns /exchanges !

  • 4/5 Doug K. 1 year ago on Google
Best mall in south Calgary. The renovation to the food court has been a blessing. The addition of Decathlon has been great too. Some parts of the mall are getting dated. Parking can be tough as the top of the parking structure has been closed for significant period of time.

  • 5/5 DK 1 year ago on Google
The mall is pretty much clean looking all the time and is well maintained. It has good selection of branded stores. The food court is also nice with descent dining options for everyone. Though the mall is not so huge but it has Decathlon which is simply worth it. It has ample of parking area.

A great and tidy mall in the south of Calgary. Best to serve the citizen from the south of Calgary and the town in south. Different kinds of shops surrounding a nice hall. Department store here for living needs.

I really love this place, even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I prefer this mall to Chinook. It has a more relaxed vibe, less crowded and a fantastic food court! Always my to go mall! 😊

Need more shoe stores. Going to miss the Disney store. Wish there was a nice place to eat in the mall not just the food court. It is clean, lots of parking and a fairly good variety of shops.

  • 5/5 Khaled S. 2 years ago on Google
It's a nice mall. Loads and loads of parking outside. Lots of shops varying from clothing to electronics to games/video games, to food in the food court. I visited Sportchek and was able to get some really good deals on some soccer equipment. The mall is well lit and has lots of natural lighting. It's a typical mall and offers lots of options, or space to get a walk in. I did see a neat cake vending machine. I didn't go for anything, but it was something j haven't seen before in a mall haha. Thanks Southcentre mall!

I had ordered a vest online that was too big and took it back to the store. The staff are amazing, the lady that helped me went out of her way to find solutions and then handed me over to a young guy who refunded and re-ordered my item. Really great service and supports a great product!

The lights on the ceiling were a nice little holiday touch. Like fairy lights! Everyone was masked appropriately to, which helped the experience. I was there for an eye exam, so I didn't get a chance to check out the food court, but from what I saw of the place, it was in order! 😁

I like it here way better than Chinook because it's smaller, easier to navigate and I can go to the shops I need to go to and get out without having to tour the whole mall. Everything I need is here, parking is easy, and I can pop into Safeway afterwards without having to drive anywhere else.

  • 4/5 Carolynn Small L. 3 years ago on Google
It was ok, lots of changes n under construction. Stores provided hand sanitizer, social distancing respected. Some good sales to be had. Not a lot of people, some line ups but not many. Wouldn't want to see boxing Day.

  • 4/5 H. E. 3 years ago on Google
One of the "finer" malls in the south of Calgary. It has good shops such as The Bay and also fun points for kids and teenagers which can keep everyone entertained. We went to the Virtual Reality club and it was so much fun. There's also a good eye clinic conveniently located indoors for people especially during winter time. There's also Safeway across the parking lot as well as Public Library which makes it's location unique!

  • 5/5 Sylvia M. 3 years ago on Google
I grew up in Calgary and south center mall was the close all to my home. As a child, my best friend and I rode our bikes here to go shopping amost every weekend. It has changed so much since I was a child, but it is still my go to mall of my choice and it still has so many of my favourite stores and services here. Give it a try! You will love it too!

So you can go to the mall to shop whether you live in the south or the north or outside of Calgary you can still go to the mall I love Southcentre Mall plus it’s closet to me but if you go down Macleod trail a little bit more you will get to Chinook Centre which is also a pretty good mall just really big, Whether your looking to go to the mall to shop or just to eat either at a restaurant or in the food court you will sure enjoy yourself There are some bonuses to going to Southcentre mall so the bonuses are there’s two different types of virtual reality arcades in the mall and for children there’s roar play park so a play place in the mall so you know you can do more than just go shopping, there’s even a nail salon so you can get your nails done to, so super fun The bonuses of Chinook Centre are there’s a movie theatre super awesome and a bowling alley so you can do more than just shopping here awesome So the mall is an awesome place to go and escape the heat and be in air conditioning #fun #mall

Not crowded but not sparse either. The density of people in the mall is what you'd find in a supermarket during a weekend. People seemed respectful of keeping distance between others. Still, merchants need customers to survive, so I got in & out quickly after purchasing what I needed. Not the time nor place to loiter.

If you are wishing for the southcenter of 2016-2017 unfortunately you will be in a ghost town.. This place is dying.. Fast... Hoping once the pandemic is over there's gonna be a surge in businesses and we'll see a return to the glory days of LA senza, Victoria's secret and sears... Never again..
