We will be back! Super tasty burger and tacos. Also the deserts were delicious. So great to find vegan and gluten free options all over Cape Town. The staff and friendly and it’s in the main downtown area. They also have a cool sustainable clothes shop next door. We will back to try everything else.

I was on the way to another spot when I walked past and saw this place with swings for seats! I like different things so did not want to pass this up. I’m a health nut so the menu is right up my alley but because I rushed in I didn’t even take note of the name. I had hubby and child in tow and was a bit nervous they’d complain endlessly about all the only healthy options But they loved the food! My daughter is a picky eater but she gobbled her burger right up. The food is really superb! I had the rainbow rolls and they are tasty and very filling! The place is beautifully decorated and has a great vibe to it

The Conscious Kitchen is a pure little gem on Kloof Street, in the heart of Cape Town. The decoration is absolutely lovely and you feel like chilling there for the whole day, sitting on one of the beautiful swings. The menu is very unique and vegan/vegetarian friendly. Everything is homemade and prepared with so much care and love, with a different twist that you won't find anywhere else. My favorite dish is definitely the mushrooms and basil pesto eggs! The smoothies and juices (100% home made) are a pure delight as well as the coffee - aways served with a big smile. The kitchen staff is great and all the cakes (vegan, dairy free and gluten free) are prepared on the spot. Don't miss an occasion to go there for a delicious breakfast or lunch, you won't regret it!

We have had many incredible meals at Conscious Kitchen - each and every time we have had fresh, beautifully presented food, that never disappoints! Our food has always been served really quickly and the staff are always very friendly and helpful (shoutout to Ebrahim from the Kloof branch!). Our favourites include the “salmon” bagel, rainbow rolls, cauliflower wings, mushroom risotto, their sweet treats (love the peanut butter cup) and their coffee! I highly recommend paying them a visit! 🌟

We by-happy-accident walked into this cute restaurant/shop. Even though I’m not a vegan I really enjoyed the food. I had the kimchi pancakes. So good! Ebrahim, our waiter, was super helpful and friendly and Keone made our yummy food. Enjoyed the vibe and swinging chairs.

The set up of this place is so peaceful. They make the cutest drawings on your coffee. And the food is pure and...... conscious!! Thats the word! Super friendly staff and owners.

This cafe is amazing, I love it. The food menu is 100% vegan. The staff is very friendly and is comfortable to sit. You can come with friends but also to work. You can even see the table mountain and devils peak from the window seats which are swings. I can recommend the açaí bowl, I love it, the granola is amazing!

We got takeout from here (arrived a bit too late to sit down). It has a cool Bali-ish vibe if you’d like to eat in. The food was really good! We were positively surprised. Great flavors and huge portion sizes. We found the prices to be very reasonable - expect to pay around 100 for a main. I’d highly recommend checking this restaurant out.

Very nourishing food options, moderately priced. Good ambiance and staff is well behaved as well. It's fun to go for a cake slice as well. Blueberry cake slice is amazing, must try it. A very good option for light snack or lunch. Good Portion are good as well. It's good to sit on the swinging chairs :), very cool Idea. Vegan food No downers for this place. Hence 5/5.

Friendly counter service. Vast vegan menu, cold pressed juices, smoothies and a selection of pastries. The decor is environment friendly, sustainable and very pretty. Great vibes.

Love their variety of soft drinks, I tried their cream soda.. olalalalalallaa and also we tried their berry açai smoothie TheiR Mushroom risotto was the bomb. Served amazingly, check out the picture. Tried also their berries cheesecake, was so good that I forgot to take a pic. Met a cute dog “Zone”

Love the conscious kitchen! Most delicious vegan options. I’ve tried a lot on the menu, also work from the Cafè quite often, the wifi is good, the staff is always friendly. The portions are sooo generous, you really get what you pay for!! I love their soup and their vegan boerewors roll.

Gluten-free alert! Everything’s made with love, the sweets are amazing, raw sweets rawrawrawwwww yeah! Couldn’t just take one, it had to be a little snikers raw too, and stayed also for a Buddha bowl with gf falafel and an amazing vegan zatziki! Please try also the fresh juices! They know what matcha is, paradise!

Cute little cafe with so many delicious and all vegan things. The smoothies as well as the desserts were particularly nice, can recommend the snickers bar.

Visiting Cape Town, I have only visited twice so far, but wow 10/10. Incredible restaurant and the details are immaculate! I absolutely love the ambiance, the staff is friendly, and the food is not only delicious, it looks freaking amazing. I especially love the dessert selection. Shoutout to whoever created this place, you have a fan!!! I will definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in town. :)

Fantastic experience, even better food! The view is incredible, the prices are great, the options are amazing, and the food is honestly superb. Ebrahim was amazing, and still managed to serve us nicely even at 17h15 (45min to closing) It's a must for veggies and vegans looking for good food and options

Wonderful service, delicious food, and a very wide variety of (totally vegan!!) choice. Best mushroom risotto we ever had! Our server Ebrahim was very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing.

Fresh, healthy, and filling. Highly recommend the Scrambled Tofu add Beyond Sausage. Portions are very generous and many things could be shared like the Spring Rolls or the Vegan Club Sandwich. The unicorn smoothy tastes similar to a Pińa Colada.

What a lovely spot! Afterwe heard about the place, we decided to give it a try. The food is excellent and an effort is made on creativity. But the place itself is the major strength, with genuine decorations and very cozy atmosphere. A real bubble in the bowl

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Cape Town. The food is extremely delicious and presented in a beautiful feast for the eyes. Love the decor and warm friendly staff. Definitely a must for everyone looking for a relaxed and memorable experience.

I hate to have to give two stars as I can see someone has tried to make a lovely place to eat. The menu is well thoughtout and the vibe is great. But sadly the staff let the place down. First I try order and have to wait about five minutes for the staff to stop fighting behind the counter which was very akward. Then my food comes and the burger bun is so hard I cant eat it. So I tell one of the staff and I get told its not his fault as he did not take my order. It all unraveled that they had just switched my bun for a gluten free bun. Did not think to mention it to me just assumed I would take it. Sorry but it ruined my meal and left me feeling very unsatisfied. I just felt like no one was managing the staff who clearly could not manage themselves. Which as I said is sad as they are letting the place down. My wife and I try so hard to find cool places to have our dates and I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Took 45 mins to get our food. It was just the two of us in the restaurant. I ordered pancakes that appeared to look like large crumpets - very dense. Overall the taste of the food was pretty good. Partner enjoyed the latkes.

I ordered the scrambled tofu but was disappointed. Very dry and no taste, just the overwhelming burning sensation of chillies. The accompanying toast was a piece of slightly dehydrated white bread. I asked for olive oil but was told they had run out. They offered butter (in a vegan restaurant). Halfway through the meal a flask appeared with a small amount of watery yellow liquid at the bottom. The food is much too expensive for the quality and quantity. And to add insult to injury I was informed the wi fi is switched off at 5pm.

The decor is lovely and the food was nice. But it made me uneasy that the waiters didn't wear their masks properly. I'll go again when the pandemic is over, there are so many other restaurants that actually follow the hygiene protocols...

Its an interesting restaurant with aesthetically plated food.The kitchen is open, yet, for a vegan oriented establishment, there is a lot of plastic packaging seen.

It is always such a treat to find a new place to hang out. I had a fresh ginger and mint tea, the spicy tofu on sourdough, and sat on the swing chair and read my book - I couldn't have asked for more. Truly delightful.

Great first impression! No complaints. Decided to order takeaways for dinner & wanted to try Conscious Kitchen for the first time. Incredible food & delivered in one piece. The ingredients and small details are noticeable & delicious, and I definitely want to order from here again (and hopefully come into the restaurant a lot sooner once lockdown ends!)
