We were asking some locals for a great and not too crowded beach and all referred to this place. Finally there we realized, that the beach is as beautiful as they told us, but there were more people than expected, even if it was not overcrowded. The place is perfect to relax as it's still quiet and the drinks at the bar we found did their job with the sun. White sand, blue water, and a coconut cocktail, it could not be better.

Skip it, waste of time. A lot of sellers that wont leave you alone if they see you’re a tourist. The bars are dirty, sand on the tables, a lot of flies, too many people, it doesn’t look clean at all. The beaches are not really with a crystal clear water… Overall, I did not like it.

The pictures don't do it justice! When in Cartagena, this IS A MUST. My girlfriend and I stayed at The Beach Hostel Cartagena. Spend a bit more to have less people around you this keeping your mind at peace with leaving your belongings while you swim. Food is great and drinks are cheap!

This a fabulously relaxing playa near Cartagena. The beach area is limited during high tide as the stores go to the edge. The price one way is 10k cop one way. The island is priced that less people will be there. Reasonable still. Many locals bring their own beer and are all wonderful! Favorite beach spot to relax but don't plan on laying out here.

It is a quick 10 min boar ride to the beach Tierra Bomba, Food was good. Beach is okay because there is a lot of trash in the water.

For what it is I had a great time. There were stray dogs there, it wasn't very clean and you're still heckled to buy things by the occasional foot vendor. It's still way better than the beach on the mainland.

Nice place for one day. Friendly people but ladies giving a massage are aggressive and remember there is no free samples

This Is a beautiful place in the Tierra Bomba island, sadly the sand inside the water is contaminated but the water is clear, too many sellers, but a great place in general!

Nice beach just across from Cartagena. Not as crowded as Playa Blanca, less pesky vendors and much closer. Need a boat to cross.

Very nice beach only a couple minutes by boat from boca grande. Watch out that you don’t pay more than 10.000cop per ride pp. talked to one guy who asked 60.000cop for the ride. I guess it’s because of my blond hair. In the end he did it for 10.000 anyway haha. So don’t be fooled. The beach on the island was very nice with not too many tourists and the venders will not bother you too much. The lunch over there was quite expensive. For 30.000 you get a fresh fish with coconut rice, a little salad and patacones. Probably negotiable but the lady was nice so we didn’t bother. Didn’t have to pay for a place in the shade as we had lunch there. All in all I would say it’s definitely worth to go as it’s not too far and comparable cheap to other trips!

Better than expected. Beach is little more White and water more clean than boccagrande . It's easy and fast to go there i recomend it if you stay more days . If you walk a little bit you can find also a relaxing spot. People were friendly and less than in cartagena beaches. For sure no paradise beach but good enough for a big city.

You can get a boat here from the hospital in Boca Grande for 10k each way. The beaches here are not nice though and every place with beach beds wants to rip you off. For a day trip is ok or perhaps get some all inclusive package in one of the nicer places.

One star is too much for this island. It’s a terrible place. It’s full with garbage pollution in the water and on the beach. There are a several abandoned house beach’s - it’s looks like ghost town. In the rest of the bars that still working - it’s expensive. In conclusion - DON’T GO THIS ISLAND.

Nice, white sandy beach just 15 minutes outside Cartagena with an amazing view of the skyline. Food and drinks are slightly higher priced than on the mainland, but definetly still reasonable!

Very nice and clean beach it costs 5-7500cop on a lancha from Castillo to get to punta arenas. Tables with parasol are free if you consume or eat. Not many beach sellers there, which is so nice!

depending on the area you might be on the "rocks" area and the beach looks a little bit dirty, the food and prices are okey, the travel from and to main land takes about 10min in a small boat

Bad spot, I don't recommend it. Very little space at the beach, to crowded, water was not so clean. The food was good though.

😠 I’m disappointed in the service we have been having at crepes and waffles. Extremely slow, rude waitresses, they do not give you attention- plus there was a green worm in our food. Did not take it off our bill

👍 If the servers were only helpful and friendly I would give this restaurant five stars. The servers seem to have an attitude and an air of snootiness. Not acceptable. The food is well presented but it does take a while to get it. My Poblano crepe was quite acceptable. The mushroom crepe was super yum...
