Fantastic place in Calle Larga Cartagena between bridge to Manga and Convention Center just over from Plaza Trinidad. Look for the giant Italian flag. I was impressed with the ambiance the food the fair prices. The service is excellent and friendly. It is a bar also with delicious cocktails but more like a family place. Half the menu is homemade Italian food with international and Colombian dishes. The owner is from Puglia and makes the pasta and gnocchi daily. Super lucky to find it. Enjoyed it and will be back. Locals and tourists and Italians eating there so you know it’s authentic and legit

Couldn’t recommend the homemade gnocchi here enough, got it with white sauce and shrimp which was to die for. Relaxed atmosphere with a good sized TV for watching sports. Ivan and the rest of the staff in the back do a fantastic job.

Mind this place! We waited nearly a hour for the food. The food was bad and the fish the smallest fish I ever saw. As we told the staff about the situation, we just received a shrug of the shoulders. We speak Spanish, so it wasn’t even a language issue. Mind this place!

Ended up going here a second time - so very good! Had the fish of the day. Let them know I don't eat beef (was in the soup), so they were so kind to bring me a juice instead. Very reasonable prices and has wifi. Would be a regular here if I lived close enough!

Great place for having lunch or dinner. Choice between Colombian and Italian options. The menu del dia is between 13 and 20 mille including a great juice, soup, and main. Some of the best food I have had in Colombia after having been here for a week.

Ho visitato tanti ristoranti a cartagena. La rumba è quello in cui ho mangiato meglio di tutti. Tutto perfetto. Pasta fatta perfettamente come piace noi italiani. Servizio molto cordiale e professionale. Ho potuto conoscere il propietario ed è molto gentile e simpatico. Ci andrò sicuramente dinuovo. Ve lo consiglio. Bester ital. Restaurant in cartagena. Alles perfekt. Service sehr freundlich und professionell. Pasta war wirklich super. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis auch ganz gut. Ich konnte ebenfalls den Besitzer kennenlernen und er war sehr nett, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Ich werde sicher nochmals vorbeigehen. Kann ich weiterempfehlen. Perfect. Great cocktails, great food and great prices. At La Rumba you drink, eat and feel good. Ivan's staff can make you feel at home. In addition they transmit the most important global sporting events and have free wifi. What to say more? Simply fantastic. Personally I love their carbonara and mojito!

Cheap wine and good bruschetta, but entrees were overpriced and mediocre (spaghetti noodles with pesto sauce and nothing else, small serving size). Lunch menu looked more appealing but they stop serving the menu del dia at 4 pm. Friendly service

This place serves real Italian food. We had spaghetti carbonara and it was fantastic. We tried a couple of Italian restaurants in Columbia and this was the only one owned by an Italian. We also had the very cheap menu del dia which wasn't Italian but a great deal for the price. All in all, I highly recommend this place for a cheap lunch or some real Italian pasta.

Stopped by here for dinner and we loved it! Enjoyed pasta with a bottle of wine recommended by the owner. The pesto was amazing - we had the pasta Cartagena and the pasta carbonara. Definitely stop by here while in Cartagena!

Got there with my wife and kid for lunch. Asked the daily menu with fish for 20k COP. - soup - very tasty, mix of beef, fish chicken - juice - ok, nothing out of this mind - main course (fried fish) - ok, nothing that I will remind in the future - lentil - good, very well seasoned - rice and salad (lettuce and tomate) - also ok The biggest problem was the place. It was hot as hell, which made our meal not pleasant at all, even though the waiter made her best to make us as comfortable as possible (good point). Also, the beer I asked was hot.

Great & affordable. I had the bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara and a glass of wine. All was very flavourfull, well portioned and reasonable priced. It's not a fancy 'Cartagena' style restaurant but if your looking for a chill / no frills dinner - this is the spot.

The food here is delicious. We had a lot of the pasta dishes and Poke bowls and they were all great. Service was excellent. The restaurant looks a bit casual, more like somewhere you would stop for lunch rather than dinner but I'm glad we decided to go in and try it. Would definitely recommend it.
