Lovely place off the main road to have lunch, the restaurant is perfect for those looking for quick yet delicious food in Chamarel🤗 The owner and his family are very welcoming and friendly. You will be offered a large selection of food, this to a very reasonable price, you will not be hungry for the rest of the day. Please go to this restaurant if you are in Chamarel. You will not be disappointed.. Highly recommended💯🫶

Really wonderful food, very tasty and thankfully not spicy (as we aren't good with spice). We are also lactose intolerant and nothing had cows milk so that was amazing too. Great flavours, nice decor and friendly, warm service. My only suggestion would be for the food to be heated slightly longer as some of it was a little lukewarm.

If you want to try truly local Creole cuisine, then you have come to the right place. This is a family restaurant with centuries-old tradition. Tasty, filling and good prices. Be sure to try the tamarin juice, it’s sweet, so you can mix it a little with wate There were 17 of us. So we took 2 long tables

The best local Mauritian food experience in the island!! The owner has a great sense of humour, and was very friendly, he ordered for us and it was a success. The Mauritian curry was amazing!

Nice restaurant on the side of the road. They serve traditional food and the menu is fixed : rice, 5 types of curry (aubergine, pumpkin, beans and 2 more), fish (we had tuna, unsure if this is the regular) and chicken. The food was good and serving very fast. The staff was very nice and welcoming. For the food, 2 beers and 2 juices (we wete 4 adults) we paid about 2500 Rs. They also have baby chairs and helped us heat the baby food in the microwave. I would recommend going for a local feeling

Definitely a not to miss place ! The food is so good. Each time I have friend visiting me in Mauritius I make it a must to bring them there to taste the tastiest food in Chamarel !! 🤩🤩 would recommend it to anyone!

This is an authentic family owned Mauritian food restaurant. It is off the beaten track and you might drive passed it without realising but STOP and give it a go. Wild boar, chicken and the tastiest lentils and vegetables. Lovely, friendly owners who made us feel very welcome.

The place was really nice, clean and taken care of. The food was authentic and clearly homemade, while the products were fresh and savory. The owners were very kind and we would definitely go back.

Authentic Mauritian delicious food. The restaurant is run by a family, everyone is involved and super kind and chatty. It’s sharing plates for the table, which is great because you get to taste all the delicacies. Five veg, 2/3 meats, with rice. Highly recommend! Definitely try the local Chamarel coffee to finish up the meal.

Delicious food. Authentic, local cuisine. Large portions. You won't leave, hence hungry 🙂 Very polite and friendly service. Even though we arrived 20 minutes before closing time, we were warmly welcomed. I highly recommend this place 🙂
