The station entrance shed looks beautiful from outside. There are rows of chairs for sitting in the empty space inside. However, I found the Shobhan class restrooms locked for two days, and the service of even the approved public toilets was disappointing. Security and checking system is relatively good.

Need to be refurbished ASAP. There is some ATMs and stuff. But there is no good food court or any place where you can buy good food. The bathrooms are bad as expected. But i guess im only gonna use to hop in train.

This is one of the biggest railway stations in Bangladesh. This place has a large waiting place and you can also stay and wait on the platform. I visited this place for my coxs bazar tour and we made our journey by "Sonar Bangla Express", this is the fastest rail to reach Chittagong to Dhaka with no stopage between these two stations.

Authority trying to developed the environment, trying to keep clean though they always failed for their mismanagement, they don't keep any dustbin drum after some distance to throw the garbage, and the back side connexting road just behind the RNB office are to dirty, now a days people throw all dirty things garbage here, it's quite impossible to walk and move through this connecting road. Also they should developed the Biroti Restaurant environment, specifically they should take some hard action to improve the cleaning issue and food quality. And also either they should closed the no 1 counter that they kept for ladies and disabled people or they should set a fixed person, because every day ladies are moulded harassed by gents while they come to buy tkt break the line.

It is the major entry point to the chattogram division. Here railway lines are meter gauge . It is also the entry point to the hilly region of bagladesh and tourist spot cox bazar . The station is pretty beautiful and modern . From here there is train towards the all major cities.

Just like any other railway station you can book your tickets in person or from online website. Even though you book your tickets online you need to show your pdf that was provided from the website and print a ticket from the station. This is applicable for any railway station in the country. Apart from that everything is more or less satisfactory.

It's good compared to other railway stations of Bangladesh but there is a lot more scope to improve. Especially about the wash-room facility and the waiting passenger accommodation perspective.

Whenever I visit this station 🚉⛽⛽🚉 I feel like going to tour some where in chattragram. Chattragram is a really beautiful place to tour because of its hills, world's largest sea beach,and the Kaptai water project.

Chittagong Railway Station is a terminal station located in the centre of Chittagong. From this station one can go Chittagong to Dhaka, Chittagong to Sylhet , Chittagong to Chittagong University, Nazirhat & Dohazari .Two non stop train (Subarna express departure time 0700 hrs& Sonar Bangla express departure time 1700 hrs) depart from Chittagong to Dhaka . Other important train toward Dhaka are Turna express departure time 2300 hrs, Mahanagar Gudhuli express departure time 1500 hrs, Mahanagar express departure time 1230 hrs, Dhaka Mail departure time 2230hrs. Two intercity train towards Sylhet are paharika express departure time 0900 hrs, Udayan express departure time 2145 hrs. Bijoy express departure time 0720 hrs is only one intercity train towards Mymensing. Chittagong station consists of 9 platform. Platform no 1&2 designated for Chittagong university shuttle train.

there is no fan on waiting room,and no special sit for first class ticket...

My experience in Chittagong Railway Station is good but be care if you need any porter help to carry your baggage from train to the station gate or gate to your train as they demand more than thrice compared with the actual price.

Very spacious and crowded place. Ticket sellers were very friendly but except few. Available transport facility outside. But beware of the CNG drivers. Try to know about the fare of your destination before going to hire them. You can check the fare in different transportation related apps.

Trains depart for different parts of the country including Dhaka and Sylhet from this station. Ticket counters, waiting rooms for passengers of different classes, canteen, book shop, ATM booth, travel agency can be found. Smokers have to go outside the station to buy cigarettes. The washrooms were not clean enough when I visited.

The toilets are flooded with its broken door, no separate toilet or washroom for women. Waiting space is over crowed, it could be with two stairs so that more people can sit. But the trains are well on spot, easy to find, stuffs were helpful as well.

Not as strict as the Dhaka kamalapur station about covid time safety. Ticket counters are okay. Online ticket print available. No display for on coming train arrivals and departures. This is the only thing I missed the most.

Maybe the second most busy train station after dhaka ( Kamlapur Railway Station ) It's not perfect but it's good enough.

The railway station carries a lot of Chittagong heritage, there is a lot of architecture of British period in this station. From here you can buy tickets for all stations in Bangladesh. The officials of the station are also very responsible.
