Had a 5 year Copper IUD fitted and I cannot express what a stress free and professional experience it was. This place does not deserve the bad reviews it has, the majority of these reviews seem to come from people who required immediate emergency attention and were rightly quite stressed out at not getting it as quickly as they would've liked, I myself had absolutely no problem with this. But the people who work here are beyond wonderful. The three women I had fitting my coil were absolute stars, I was checked thoroughly, given blood tests and swabs, talked to calmly and reassuringly and was taken through the procedure. I was given anaesthetic and barely felt any discomfort when the coil was placed. The doctor who did it was so practiced and clearly knew her stuff, the lady holding my arm and comforting me was so helpful in settling my nerves. Overall, no where near the horror stories I have read online about getting the coil, I barely felt anything and was looked after so so well. So worth it! Thank you again!

Went for an implant fitting, due to be done at 3:15pm but don't think I got seen until an hour after allotted time. I had implant fitted, went home took my coat off and noticed the implant was sticking out my arm, tried to call the clinic but they turned off their line, so tried to call the drs which then told me to go to A&E due to risk of infection. I then had to have it removed by them and steri strips placed. I have literally only got home now at 10pm after what should of been a quick appointment. Do not recommend!

Such a friendly team, I felt completely at ease. The lady on reception, the doctor who preformed the procedure and the nurse by my side were all absolutely lovely, clearly very knowledgeable. I can't fault them at all. Such an amazing service. Thank you.

RUDE! Sue was my nurse and was so incredibly rude and condescending. I never make reviews but my experience left me in so uncomfortable I had to make one. Sue was very insensitive and didn’t make me feel at ease at all whilst getting my implant removed. Very rude and not compassionate. One of the worst NHS experiences I’ve had, never coming back!

It was a bit difficult to get an appointment because you have to call. Had an amazing experience at the clinic. The doctor was very professional, friendly and took his time to listen and examined the samples he took. Finally a doctor that is trying to find the root of the the problem.

Appalling service. They called on the day telling my sister her appointment had moved time, which is fine as she was able to change the time with work luckily, but failed to mention it was now in Ellesmere port and not chester. On arrival the nurse preceded to tell my sister as she was stood in front of her to "call back when you calm down", and refused to let her sit inside. So she had to sit on the pavement in the rain whilst distressed. Disgusting. I don't know how someone in such a profession can be so utterly thoughtless.

Fantastic, accessible, free health service in Chester. I was so nervous for my Mirena coil fitting but Dr Mullens and supporting nurse were incredibly professional and put me at ease. It went so smoothly - only slight discomfort and absolutely no pain the next day. Highly recommend!

Was told we could walk in and get an appointment I was in a lot of pain and with my boyfriend they said I couldn’t get a appointment because walk ins are only in the mornings on certain days which is fair enough but the reception lady was very rude and unwelcoming and I walked out without getting any help. Still in pain

After trying for months to arrange a smear with my doctors unsuccessfully I called here this morning. I realise I was extremely lucky in that they’d had a cancellation and I got an appointment for this afternoon. Got seen about half an hour after my appointment time but I was just relieved to have even gotten an appointment. The nurse (Hayley) was so, so lovely, explained everything to me and checked I was ok throughout. She’s an asset to the place. After the way my doctors surgery spoke to me after I dared to say it was concerning me that I could never get an appointment for something this important, I’ll probably try and go here in future.

Been trying to call no answer, also won’t let me book an appointment on there website.

Women on reception at this practice always have an attitude problem. They seem quite nice on the phone, then you show up and it’s like you’re a massive inconvenience to them. Horrible coming here. Can’t fault the actual nurses they’re lovely.
