A good place to stay for a modest price. The rooms aren't incredible. The AC made a bunch of noise in ours and never seemed to be able to cool down the room to the desired temperature of 22°c. While staying there, you have access to a nice pool which is shared with a more luxurious hotel. The downside is that all the nice chairs and beds around the pool are reserved to the more luxurious hotel. You have only access to the white plastic chairs and tables further off. No food or drinks from outside are allowed around the pool. The pool is only opened until 6:00pm. There are a bunch of rules in the hotel like no taking your cup of free coffee to your room or else you will be charged 40BHT. The coffee machine was out of order when we went, so the free coffee was instant mix. There was a paper at the desk that said they accepted credit card payment with a certain fee, but when asked to pay with credit card, they do not accept and only want cash payment.

Have stayed here before and had no issues.. But this time really took the biscuit... Wouldn't accept cards because machine was "out of order" everytime approached counter... Got a room in the front of the hotel and I'd urge anyone to change to rear as noise in large car park is ridiculous at any hour of night or morning, staff really need to tell people be quiet... Spent 2 hours the following night listening to some drunk guy walk up and down the halls shouting and looking to argue with anyone that told him shut up.. Yet again staff did nothing to resolve it leaving everybody else between 3:30 - 5:30 to listen to him.. Followed by people staying in hotel but on a motorbike tour to start bikes at 6 am and let them idle and revving for a full hour outside in car park... Normally don't leave bad reviews with such detail but this was unbelievable... Ended up leaving early to go to a much superior hotel for cheaper money...

Great location.... rooms very old now. As it been around for decades without renovations. Hit and miss with Air Con and other items. If needing to spend under 1000 baht then a decent option. Otherwise same owner has new building next door 2000 baht per night

Its a good location if you want to be in the centre of the city. All the restaurants and stores are walking distance. The rooms are ok, for me reminding me the communist style, but my friend from Korea she really likes it. So it depens.. there was a hot water all the time, AC. Rooms are big, there is a big mirror. You can have coffee in the lobby all day long. There is a swimming pool.

Was pleasantly surprised by this very characterful hotel - ok, it has seen better days but the rooms are large and airy and the price is excellent. We stayed 3 nights. The staff are friendly too and you can make use of the swimming pool next door. Some of the previously negative ratings are really unjustified. You get what you pay for.

Ok... This place is not managed well. We booked this to use the pool only to find out that it's shared with the neighbouring hotel which had it booked out for a wedding. So while the bride and groom enjoyed their special day, ours wasn't so good! Cleanliness was an issue too, more attention needed in the bathroom and issues like blocked sinks need resolving! Price and location however can't be faulted BUT it's cheaper to book at reception than to book online so if you're not fussed about the facilities and fancy a trip back to the 80s then this place is for you! Oh... You'll notice printed signs EVERYWHERE saying what you're not allowed to do so yea....

Good location, great service staff, has a swimming pool, quiet, reasonable room, recommended. More importantly, there is a large parking lot.

After 6 months and over 60 hotels in Asia, this is the only hotel I don't recommend. Not going into detail, but super bad business practice. Would avoid

Good location, very good price. Is in dire need of redecoration, but is clean enough. WiFi and Aircon included. Good night's sleep is possible. If you can handle how it looks then it's an absolute bargain.

The staff here were so lovely, it's a much older hotel and you do get what you pay for as it is alot cheaper than most of the other hotels. I had an issue with the aircon leaking but if your on a budget it is functional

Waited 2 hours for a room a made a reservation for... They could not find my booking and they were full. The hotel looks very worn out. You can use the pool from the next door hotel but not their sunbeds, you sit on plastic chairs

Very old hotel in very good location, that why I like to stay in this hotel, because the room is still clean, free coffee service 24 hr.,the room rate is cheap 380 -450 baht/night.From the hotel you can walk 5 minute to have food at Tapas Gate or Chiangmai Gate,or you can walk to Wat Jedi Luang and Wat Prasing in 3 minute

Big but dirty rooms, very noisy (aircon outside made a lot of noise - can't sleep, fan in room also very dirty and noisy) Definitely can't recommend that hotel to anyone.

This hotel is Clean, central and has ample parking space. Tye room I stayed in was spacious. All the Staff was very nice and helpful. The only downfall is that the furniture is old. However, for that price, it is very worthwhile.

Quiet and clean... Friendly staff and inexpensive. Yes, it's a bit dates, but so what? It's in a great location, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and they have hot showers. This is a good value. I've lived in Thailand for over 25 years. This is not a review from someone who doesn't know the country.

I have been stay in this hotel when I visit Chiangmai to work ,because of the good location to have breakfast in the morning in the Ton Payom market nearby and the Thai Massage senior girl who are good in her job. This period time of Covid, it is quiet and only few customers.

I'm humbled and grateful for my temporary low-key hotel room with fridge, ac, view of street, TV, swimming pool, kingsize bed, excellent location. Power doesn't shut off when you leave like other places, fridge stays cold. Perfectly functional for a few nights escape from the hostels as a solo traveler for a moment of clarity, all for quite a reasonable rate. Also: the man Mr. Sombat that helped me to my room was very friendly and welcoming, good service. Helped me with my luggage with cart to elevator. TV works good.
