This is a charming spot in Lakeview offering fantastic Venezuelan eats! The food was amazing, and the ambiance of the back alley is lovely and perfect for the summer. We ordered the tequenos, the party animal Arepa, and the Pabellon Criollo, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The tequenos had a satisfying crunch and delightful cheesiness. The arepa was a real treat with well-flavored pork pieces. The shredded beef in the Pabellon Criollo was so tender and juicy. The dining experience was very enjoyable - the service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the overall environment was fantastic. We’re excited to return again soon!

All of these reviews are spot on! We were looking for authentic arepas and this was the perfect place for just that. We got the Tajadas (fried plantains with cheese) and the Queen arepa (avocado chicken salad and Gouda cheese) which came with a cilantro aioli. Both items were even more delicious than we expected. It was clear that all of the food is super fresh, even the shredded Gouda. I would highly recommend stopping by Bolivar & Lincoln!!

Been here twice already because their arepas are delish! We’ve tried the Hairy(shredded beef with Gouda) and the Pabellon(shredded beef with plantains, black beans and cheese), loaded and full of flavor. Their tequeños are a must try along with the cilantro aioli. Nice little place with the most polite and friendly servers and the best arepas in Lakeview.

This family-owned restaurant is fabulous in every way! Delicious food and drinks. There’s an arepa for everyone whether you’re a Queen or a Cowboy. The quesillo (Venezuelan flan) was a perfect sweet ending to the meal. Can’t wait to eat here again!

What a hidden gem! I wish I knew about this establishment sooner. Hoping to get away from the congestion of Wrigleyville I stopped in before a concert with my dad. We were promptly greeted and seated in a cozy patio outside. I had the veggie arepas and my dad ordered the cowboy. They were HUGE, stuffed to the brim with ingredients and very tasty. We both throughly enjoyed our cups of Guayoyo and even ordered some to go. Service was welcoming and pleasant. Cannot wait to go back!

Saw an ad come up on my Instagram feed and had to try it. Saw the "Cowboy" Arepa and knew I wanted to try it. The place is like a best kept secret location. The street parking was easy as I found a spot out front to pay to park. They have a cute Outside section as well too the side of the restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted nicely and Asked if in was dining in or doing take out. I decided to dine in and take in the experience. I already knew what I wanted But I went over the menu and Looked over all the different period. I decided on the cowboy arepa Which included well seasoned steak with avocado tomato and mozzarella cheese. It also came with a side sauce which tasted like an avocado/chimichurri sauce. I also had a peach flavored natural juice. Everything was great! I will give the cowboy arepa a 10/10 and the peach juice a 8.5/10. Not very crowded but definitely popular and well worth the try. Will definitely go again.

The food here is amazing very tasty, as well as the flavor of it is very accurate to the Venezuela’s cuisine as a Venezuelan myself I can vouch for that besides the prices are decent. However the service was terrible they didn’t treat us badly or rudely but I didn’t expected such a poorly service with an empty restaurant at the moment we were there. Despite that, the food is what really stands out from this place.

This place has amazing Venezuelan food. Their tequeños and cachapas are delicious, with lots of cheese and fillings. I lived in Venezuela for a while, and this place reminds me of home!

Loved Bolivar & Lincoln. The service was amazing, and I loved seeing a Latin-owned business in Lakeview. The food was impeccable - the Cowboy Arepa stood out and did not disappoint. Would strongly recommend if you’re looking for some delicious Venezuelan cuisine.

AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and go here! Gentleman who helped us was so friendly and attentive. The Arepas were incredible and definitely the best I’ve ever had. We got the pork, beef, and steak. Would recommend them all! I’ll be back very soon!
