If you are a fan of Evette’s next door, this is a must-try (as it’s the same owner)! Amazing selection of sandwiches and grab-and-go items and groceries. They offer Lebanese food and we tried the I Make You Lamb panini, The Niff Jen (turkey panini), and the pasta salad - all were great. Friendly staff and owner! Communal tables offer a spot to eat a quick lunch if you’d like to dine in. A huge improvement from Subway and great opportunity to support local.

Tasty sandwiches and much better room / more seating than at the restaurant next door. Quick service. Would eat here again even if the sandwiches are a little small.

One of the best sandwich’s I’ve ever had. My husband got the “I make you lamb” which was **chef’s kiss**. The Bombay Chaulet was also excellent

I randomly stumbled upon this place, while looking for a quick eat. My first time here and let me tell you something..the lamb panini was out of this world! Packed with flavor, juicy and satisfying! Can’t wait to try the other sandwiches & food from their sister restaurant Evettes!

Wow!!! We initially came for Evette’s (one of our faves) and saw the sister restaurant next door so decided to try this place out instead and we were not disappointed! After much deliberation (everything sounded SO good), we ordered the T & Bree and Tatanka. We were really impressed with the flavors! Highly recommend stopping by, we will definitely come again!

Overall the sandwich was good- I just didn’t like that the sandwich was warm but the chicken was cold. Not sure if that’s by design or I was unlucky. I’ll probably ask next time if I go back. Price is a bit high but it was a large portion that could easily be shared. Ingredients were good quality and liked the array of condiments on the table.

Amazing amazing sandwiches!!! I’ve been here twice now, and it’s been worth the walk both times. 10/10

Got my first sandwich from here this weekend. It was delicious! The bread was so fresh and their sauces were amazing. I got the tatanka. It was a sweeter buff chick sandwich but very flavorful

Delicious and unique sandwiches with high quality ingredients, and some of the yummiest bread I have had! Cute shop that's great for takeout, or casual, quick dining in. Quick and friendly service too!

Food is Amazing! Looks good, tastes good. This location is small with table and counter seating. Only problem, the tables where too close to counter eliminated 4 seats right off the bat. They have longer tables as well, sit down, enjoy the company of others.

This is one of my favorite sandwich spots, despite the sandwiches being a bit smaller. Quality ingredients, delicious sandwiches and drinks (especially the Joe’s teas), and a good selection of chips. I’ve never been disappointed in any of the menu items. The staff are always nice and the service is quick. Parking is a bit limited in the area, but wasn’t too hard to find during the times that I’ve been.

I can’t eat pork and they wouldn’t make the sandwich I wanted without prosciutto. They do not care about allergies or intolerances. Response to the owner: The owner responded, claiming I am the only one star they’ve received. That is not true. I can see that somebody else had the same issue as me, in which the owner responded and claimed, similar to in this post, that that they “💯 will modify for allergies or intolerances.” This is clearly a lie as can be seen from my experience. I nicely informed about my dietary restriction regarding pork and was declined. Claiming it to be a miscommunication seems unlikely based on the experience of others… Moreover, the owner’s comment about Subway doesn’t really quite apply…I was merely asking to not put a certain meat on the sandwich. I wasn’t asking for a different ingredient, extra of the other meat, or anything else. If the sandwiches are made fresh, it shouldn’t be hard to NOT put a meat on the bread. So bizarre to say no to that. I worked at a sandwich shop myself for a summer and have never seen a request like that declined. Also, 50% of the sandwiches have pork, not just two.

This is an inconspicuous little spot on Armitage, but houses some of the best sandwiches and soup I’ve had since moving to Chicago in 2014! Small but cozy atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and I found the prices incredibly fair for both the quality and size of the sandwiches. This place really should be more well-known! I highly recommend giving this lovely spot a try!
