First time diner, stopped here for lunch. We ordered chicken/beef combo, Pork/beef combo meals and spam musubi. That's the Spam Sushi type roll. The food is delicious! The restaurant seems to have a great turnaround. The service from the young lady behind the counter was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. When I'm in the area, this is a must stop.

Came here many years ago without really knowing the city and was so excited to stumble upon it after moving to the area! This place has not changed at all in the best way. The food is still just as fresh and different! I love this place because it explicitly says it does not serve pineapple or poke… the Americanized stereotypes of Hawaiian cuisine. It does, however, boast a huge menu of interesting dishes and sauces! The tofu katsu is breaded/fried and comes with a delicious sweet/tangy sauce. The mochiko chicken has a really nice texture (doesn’t taste too fried more like broasted) and is really good with a side of teriyaki sauce. The BBQ chicken is grilled and that has great flavor! Really loved the hurricane fries (don’t skip), the Tofu Katsu, Mochiko Chicken, and the Shrimp with BBQ chicken plate (not pictured)!!

GOD THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Staff was very nice and understanding and explained some menu items to me since this was my first time trying Hawaiian food! The place was small but there was plenty of seating for a Friday night! I got the combination chicken katsu and bbq short rib plate. With a side of curry and mixed veggies. Everything was so delicious. The curry had a bit of spice to it but it made the dish better. The katsu was so crispy and delicious, next time I’m ordering it with white meat! I will be back. I want to try so much more!

Fantastic experience and delicious food. The menu is extensive and if you haven’t been to Hawaii (like me) make sure to ask questions. We got the hurricane fries, pork katsu curry, spam loco moco and spam katsu musubi. Hurricane fries were delicious and a decently sized portion. The sauce X furikake combo straight slapped. Pork katsu was delicious and honestly PLENTIFUL. I mean we’re talking like 2/3 meals no joke. I ordered a side of curry and gravy. Curry was on the spicier end and tbh was my favorite. The gravy was also very good, tangy but on the sweeter side. Wish they could do half half on the katsu but it’s served on the side. Loco Moco was good and looked delicious. Didn’t try it personally so can’t say a lot more ha. The drinks were fantastic. I mean truly delicious in flavor but not overwhelmingly sweet like most sodas. Also as my friend said, the spam is “literally a block of rice” so don’t order it as a side thinking it’ll be tiny 😂. Will definitely be back and this time, hopefully try some of the less fried stuff on the menu ha

Low key place that serves Hawaiian food. I would stick with the chicken dishes as they are well priced and seems to be overall better compared to the pork/beef dishes. The double chicken is my goto, portions are enough for 2-3 ppl. The mochiko chicken is quite good too. You can sub the rice/mac salad for fries without any additional charge. The fried spam katsu is a must try also, very crispy. Also, they make cheeseburgers for $4, they’re nothing special but you can’t beat that price these days for a charbroiled burger.

I've had Hawaiian food before, but this was really good. I had the chicken katsu mix and masubi (probably spelling it wrong). The short ribs were really good, and the katsu was fried perfectly. I had never had spam before and was interested in the masubi. It was really good! It wasn't as salty as I heard spam was. I actually ordered from them again on doordash and tried the double chicken, and the teriyaki chicken was good as well!

Good Hawaiian food. You can tell the difference if you lived in Hawaiian for a while but it's close enough. Kalbi and chicken katsu are good and portions are ok for the price. No comment on the service as it was closing and no dine in was allowed.

I really like this place Their food is authentic and truly delicious. I heard the chicken katsu and Loco moco are classics. Then chicken Katsu is cooked to order and both crispy and tender inside. We got a pulled pork and cabbage too and it was it was nice and tender but could have used more sauce. The meat portions are generous and fill up the container. Their Macaroni salad isn't some poor quality stuff you see in a cafeteria either. The macaroni salad and fries were pretty good. Even Their rice is nice quality rice. The lady at the counter if friendly and the ambiance is kinda nice too for a fast casual place. I had low expectations for this place when I saw the menu at first because I thought " hmm I could make spam and rice and macaroni salad at home". But you could also make burgers at home. This is just better and more authentic than just cooking rice and heating up patties at home. I'll definitely be coming back.

I ordered the barbecue chicken lunch plate and it was really good. It came with rice and pasta salad. I also got their Pineapple orange drink. The brand on the can was Aloha maid. I'd definitely come back here again

One of my favorite restaurants! Everything I have tried is delicious but you can’t go wrong with the chicken katsu, Hawaiian bbq beef or loco moco. Serving sizes are great too, I usually have enough to eat it twice.

A little slice of Hawaii in the Midwest. Reminds me of many places I’ve eaten in my time in Hawaii. Great food.

Over all 8/10 I had the Spam musubi 🥓🍣🍙(use your imagination!!!), and a burger 🍔 . It was my first time trying a musubi and it was pleasantly satisfying. Burger was a no for me. But the service was top notch, very friendly, attentive 👍 😊
