Food is good. I love the wings that are half spicy and half sweet. The lunch special is the best deal here. The Korean beef soup 🍜 is also very good. I wish they offered free refills on soda. The French Fries are also tasty too. I hope they add more to their menu in the future.

Not been there in a while but last few times I ate there, the food was top notch, nice atmosphere and you can usually see the chefs at work in the open plan kitchen.

If you are looking for Korean chicken wings for delivery, this is a fantastic option. I first ate at this restaurant pre-COVID and it became my #1 favorite place for spicy Korean chicken wings. Post-COVID, even with delivery, it still delivers (pun intended) on the flavor. The meals are well-packaged in strong containers. None of that weak-sauce packaging here. I asked for utensils and was pleasantly surprised to see forks, chopsticks, and plenty of napkins. *PRO TIP: if you are ordering through the app (or phone, etc), ask for extra plates! We ate out of the containers, which isn’t a big deal, but since we were staying at a hotel, it would’ve been clutch to have some extra plates to eat from. The food itself came surprisingly hot and the wings were still crunchy. Admittedly, it’s not the exact magic that occurs when you dine in, but that’s to be expected. It’s a strong offering for delivery. By the way, I LOVE spicy foods and see myself as being able to handle the spice well. These spicy wings are pretty spicy. Not the spiciest ever, but it makes you think you maybe order an “extra spicy” version or something. It’s VERY flavorful and delicious, but just be warned: it’s spicy. In short, if you are craving some Korean chicken wings for delivery (or any Korean cuisine for that matter) Bonchon prepares the food quickly, packages it well, and the flavors are well-preserved compared to its in-person offering. Although I would prefer to dine-in, I also wouldn’t hesitate to order delivery again when the craving strikes.

The group that owns Bandera is not allowing their employees to wear face masks as they re-open in various markets. They are unnecessarily endangering their customers and their employees for the sake of the perception of normalcy. Good luck with that, Hillstone Restaurant Group. I celebrated my college graduation with you, among other occasions. It's a shame that you're making it impossible for me to return or support you at any point in the future.

The lunch special is a little cheaper but still about $1 each wing. The wings are juicy and crispy, but not worth the money due to size. The portion size is very very small and rice is extra.

I miss this place, does anyone know if and when it will reopen? My husband and I make it a tradition to celebrate our wedding anniversary here every year (minus last year). Everything from the drinks, live music and the food were oh so good!

Great place and staff. Food is delicious and the lounge atmosphere with the jazz band playing is great. We had the bread plate, the cheeseburger, and the ribs and everything was good and tasty. Just one thing weird : the bottle of diet coke is about half the size of the regular coke bottle for nearly the same price... Could have been good to have the option to get a full size bottle.

Ordered on line. Quick and easy. Paid for it on line too. Food is very good. A great option for quick dinner pick up. 20 Strips with Soy & Garlic. Onion rings and Takoyaki All very good. I will say I'm addicted to this chicken. If you order hot wings or strips. They are HOT. Ranch dressing will cool you down. Thank you for a great to go meal Family very happy.

Great place for a more romantic evening. The food is phenomenal! Dress up nicely! They have life piano performance there, that's what makes it romantic, and the low lights. I highly recommend!

The waitering was absolutely amazing. Very kind and quite helpful with the suggestions of dinner choices. The ambiance was extremely cozy. A live jazz performance that made the night a more warming entertaining environment. The food, incredibly mouth watering. Absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend others to experience it.

Upscale spot in the loop for American food. Lots of good fish options. I especially liked the Emerald Kale and Chicken Salad. They have live jazz music every day which is pretty cool, made the ambience a whole lot delightful. Service was quick and staff was very professional and welcoming.

This place is hands down amazing! They have a live jazz band playing while you are enjoying your meal. The atmosphere is swanky with a touch of class. The service is amazing and they went above and beyond to make my dining experience excellent. Super attentive wait staff, greeted with a friendly smile by the hostess, food was out in a prompt and timely manner. I had the bbq ribs which were super tender and melting in my mouth and my boyfriend had the pork chop which was perfectly cooked. There is not enough good to say about the nice time we were able to spend at this restuarant. Oh, and the dessert was soooooo good! We had the walnut apple pie cobbler which was rich and full or warm caramel goodness.

Called in my order but I felt soo rushed that I ended up messing up my order myself!! Didnt realize till I got home which is a 30minute drive that I didn't get my wings boneless!! Definitely suggest just ordering at the location so that they don't rush you!

AMAZING chicken. We drove over an hour home with this chicken and it was still crunchy when we ate it. Same for the Takoyaki, it wasn't soggy at all. I was really surprised. My only complaint is location. You have to really pay attention otherwise you'll walk right by it like we did.

Ambiance can't be beat here. And service is ideal. I come here every time I'm in Chicago. The food is good but the homemade Oreo dessert is my favorite. The music has always been on point as well.

I was lucky to find Bandera while I was in the area today and decided to give it a look for lunch. Wound up with seats at the chef’s bar because we didn’t have reservations, but that’s exactly where I would request to sit when I return again. Getting to watch the chefs prepare the food was a great experience all on its own. It helped us decide what we all wanted to eat - especially after we watched him prepare an Oreo cookies and cream ice cream dessert in a bath of chocolate sauce. The service was great, the food was spectacular, and I’d recommend this to anyone.

Macho salad and grilled veggies are consistently delicious. The cornbread is super delicious but they need to take an extra minute mixing the batter. We had to send ours back twice because there were pockets of uncooked/unmixed cornmeal mix

Great atmosphere and amazing food. Mains worth the money in general. Sides over priced imo. Drinks good, soft drinks very overpriced and served as small single servings. Love jazz was great for the atmosphere. Very slow to be seated given we had a reservation but the place was full due to its popularity. Not a tourist trap despite its location. Would recommend.

5 Star, The Atmosphere was filled with happy people serving and bring plates to tables that makes your palate dance. I must say the salad vinaigrette was not over powering but just right with the crunchiness of almonds. The Salmon was cooked to flaky perfection. Bandera is on my MUST EAT list.

The skin of the chicken is so crispy and you can literally hear the sound of how crunchy it is. Their signature fried chicken fried to perfection. You can say the crunch is like eating a bag of lays chips.

Terrible. We went there few times and they didn't seat us even it had few empty tables. They said those are reserved. Bad customer service. They prefer empty tables rather serving their customers. Never go back for the rest of my live.

Great food and amazing atmosphere. Had cheese burger which was very tasty, lamb sandwich was nicely seasoned and very tender. Seared ahi tuna salad was delicious too. They have live jazz music and the band was really good. We had to wait about 40 minutes as we didn't have a reservation, so it's better to reserve in advance. Service was very good too.

There are times you just need double deep fried chicken wings. For those times, you can count on Bonchon to deliver. I first experience this chain in NYC where it started, then again in DC. Whilst i would rank Chicago’s chain below both locations, this BC definitely satisfies your taste buds. I also want to give them an honorable mention when they participated in a period of time where they gave first responders a free meal. I visited them a couple times during those weeks and felt truly valued as a healthcare provider during the early pandemic months. Thank you for being in Chinatown and so delicious each time :)

Small dining space with a Short but effective menu. Service was friendly but we literally had to ask to have empty dishes removed multiple times, if not they would just have completely cluttered up our table. They have Familiar items that attract an unadventurous crowd with wings, onion rings and tacos but their other traditional dishes like Bulgogi, Takoyaki and Fried Rice are so damn good. I am amazed at how flavorful their fried rice is, We loved it. The Chicken Katsu was pretty basic and can please a picky eater. Fried shrimp shumai sounded very interesting but missed the mark on our taste buds. We'll try them steamed next time. The wings we very crispy but flavor wise were not the kind you crave for, pricey at that. Pork Buns were good but nothing to rave about. All in all we had a good meal and Again the Bulgogi, Takoyaki and the Fried Rice was just Delicious.
