I’ve came here all the way from Japan, and it turned out that this place is the BEST BREWERY I’ve ever had. With their special tap beers, and lots of other speciality made our flight gorgeous. Tasted really great. And merchandise they had was impressive. I’ve got t-shirt, wind breaker, magnet, and decoration. Also, staff were friendly, nice to have a chat with them. I’ll definitely visit here again wherever I come to Chicago. Goose island taproom made my trip THE BEST EVER. Kento

One of the OG’s of craft brewing in Chicago. For a macro-microbrewery, the is a fun and polished space. Great looking taproom with outdoor (sidewalk) seating available. All of their standard beers are available on tap along with many varietals only available at the taproom. Recommended.

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Has been years, actually. Usually go to the Clybourn location. Spent a good amount of the day here for 312 Day. $3.12 half and full pours with a raffle ticket with each purchase. Eventually won a pair of tickets to a Wilco show. I stuck with the 312 variants of Mango Tajin as well as Malört throughout the day and even grabbed some swag - Chicago Fire Department S/S Shirt and 312 L/S Shirt. Still sell some local snacks, and pictured here is a Classic Cheese Flight. Dope bartenders and great ambience.

Good beers. Huge selection. Flights, taps, crowlers, to go, etc. Full service beer only joint. Patio out front. Clean. Great employees. Edit: I also want to thank Nick especially for all the info, answers to our questions and suggesting the German Wheat IPA. It was fantastic and made my birthday even more amazing.

We came for the tour and were not disappointed. Chris was an awesome tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about the brewery. The apparel section is amazing and I found the perfect sweatshirt that my wife will steal all the time!

Took my dad on his first brewery tour. He loved it and Johnny was fantastic! Even got to taste some BCBS on tap. Great beer selection with taproom exclusives! Highly recommend to anyone in town.

We took our tour of Goose Island brewery with Eliseao and I cannot recommend it with more aplomb! As someone who works for a craft brewery doing tours, I was enamored with his delivery, knowledge, and overall interaction with our group. Hands down, you should 100% do the tour. The beers here are wonderful, but touring with Eliseao was a joy and gave us such fantastic insight into how things are done at Goose Island. I cannot recommend the tour enough!!

Great location and tour. Tasting selection is super good. Bar is amazing with a large selection of draft beer. Lots of option for souvenirs and you will get a discount if you go for the tour.

FOR PARENTS WITH BABIES: great place to visit with a baby. Staff is lovely and accommodating and it's big enough that if your baby fusses a bit no one notices but not so big that it's loud and crazy. Service is fast so you can get in and out if baby decides you gotta cut the trip short. The best part is the clean, huge changing table in the restroom. Thank you Goose Island for accommodating families!

Our tour guide was phenomenal. (Elesario) Great stories, very personable, and knowledgeable about Goose Island history, operations, and products. I went in only being familiar with 312 and Honkers since those are the only two we can get in our area, and was pleasantly surprised at all the other options in the tap room. We will be back next time we are in Chicago!

The tour was awesome our tour guide was super knowledgeable and really fun. Our tour guide has certainly earned everything he has worked for since coming over from mexico and should be proud of his accomplishments (PS i really want to try that mole beer) The entire bar staff was also friendly and knew all their locals. It was awesome to see such dedication to their Guest. Everyone showed pride in their work and what they provide to your team to make such a great beer. Your leadership in that brewery definitely shines through. Well done! And thank you for an amazing experience and tour.

We recently visited Chicago and hit up a handful of local breweries and tap rooms including the Goose Island Taproom on W. Fulton Street. They have solid lineup of stouts including a couple of bourbon barrel. We tried several as a sort of mini-flight. In short, we liked them all, including a more traditional imperial stout. Would gladly return for another round of the Goose Island stouts and would be interested in trying other beers they have on tap next time around.

There's a new beer coming 312( so good I already tried it for you), can't believe Goose Island hosts a block party for it on September 22& 23. & to tour the Brewhouse you need to book on line first it's only weekends at 1 or 3 or 5pm. Remember to book it online before you go.

Always seems to be busy but even still, the staff is friendly and attentive. Decent selection of craft brews (considering they're all from Goose) and more potent drinks as well. They have a small menu of snacking foods but they encourage you to bring in your own food and there's a good selection of places around the area to grab food to go and eat at the Taproom.

This was my first time taking a brewery tour and I LOVED it. Johnny was an excellent tour guide, informational and had some great jokes. (Johnny is a brew master himself so he had a lot of insight into the full process). For $15, you get 3 sampled beers, a full tour of the facility and a complimentary beer glass at the end. It is defiantly worth it. It’s fun and you get to try some great Chicago beer !

Had a great time trying different beers on tap and finally getting to mark off one of the rare BCBS bottles. Very low key on Wednesday afternoon, was nice to enjoy the company of a few others and also the man behind the counter, Brian. Brian was very helpful and pleasant to talk to throughout my stay. Chatting with the manager Nick was very nice and hearing about upcoming brewery happenings was great. As always, I'll be back for more.
