Great ambience! Great service! Great food! I was highly satisfied with my visit to Ocean Prime during Chicago Restaurant Week. I loved the presentation of the cocktail: Berries and Bubbles. For dinner I had: French Onion Soup, Teriyaki Salmon, and Ten Layer Carrot Cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to return!

Good place for happy hour in the city! Randomly came here Monday afternoon, in time for their 4-6pm Happy Hour specials—$5 off appetizers and sushi in the lounge. Was able to find available seats at the bar! Enjoyed the Baked Oysters and Lobster Tempura Sticks!

If you are looking for a posh atmosphere they deliver. They have a great vibe. The food is definitely disappointing given the price. I ordered the signature sushi roll ocean prime, a lobster tail and a French onion soup. I had to wait a significant amount of time for refills and my food. This was odd given it was not busy.

We are in town for a Bears game and friends suggested this restaurant. The place is gorgeous and has a very cool vibe. The food was delicious and the service was on point. Our server, Charlie, gave great suggestions and made the meal an enjoyable experience. A bit of sticker shock at the final bill but it was worth it from the oysters and shrimp cocktail appys to the yummy meals to the divine desserts of peanut butter chocolate deliciousness and a final chocolate martini!

Can I find the words to describe Ocean Prime? Exquisite? Fantastic? Delicious? Perhaps the most delicious food I’ve ever had? It was so good. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service. Simply outstanding food and drinks. See the video of the Berries & Bubbles drink.. amazing! 🤩Great location at the corner of Michigan & Wacker. Perfect spot for special occasions.

This place is awesome, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The risotto was easily the best thing we ate. I would get a whole plate of it solo and it would hold up. So delicious. The filet was also one of the best steaks I’ve had in the city. Meat was so tender and cooked perfectly. French onion soup was okay. It was as good as you can make French onion soup but I wish I’d gotten the lobster bisque instead. The carrot cake was delicious and I would easily get it again. The sorbet was also very good. The berries and bubbles cocktail was also pretty cool to see. Not the highest alcohol content but it was solid and comes out bubbling due to dry ice.

This was exactly what I needed. I sat at the bar after a long trade show and the entire bar staff was remarkably friendly and hospitable. What a beautiful energy to walk into! I was able to order from the full menu, and everything was absolutely perfect. The Berries and Bubbles was super delicious and really cool looking! It actually boiled with dry ice smoke! They even gave me truffle popcorn to snack on. I had the lobster bisque, and the crab meat cocktail - both were bigger portions than I was expecting and perfectly plated and executed. I absolutely loved the view through the windows. Everything was as wonderful as I could've asked. A fantastic way to end a long week, and largely due to the awesome staff!

Love the food. Love the ambiance. Love the location overlooking the downtown skyline. Pricey but it's worth every penny. The cocktail are wonderful.

I decided to try out a new high-end location for an early dinner on the weekend of the Fourth of July. Both my SO and I thought the food was amazing, filling, and timely. Their cocktails are both refreshing and taste amazing. They are also more than a regular mixed drink, since some like their smoked old fashioned have additional thought in the process. The butter cake is to die for, especially if you're a fan of butter cake. My favorite part, however, was the service. The server (will add his name if I can find the receipt later) was amazing, sociable, attentive, kind, and he answered all questions throughout the evening. The staff as a whole does a great job to make sure you are taken care of, and to provide an overall enjoyable experience. My SO and I will definitely be returning quite often!

I brought my wife and my father for his birthday for a wonderful dinner experience. Parking was easy with valet. We started our dinner with a bottle of wine and a couple of apps, delicious. We especially loved the deviled eggs. We all ordered an entre and shared to taste a little bit of everything. The entres were all tastey. My father ordered the 32 oz wagyu steak, that was the star of the dinner experience. We still had room for dessert, I'm not sure how though! The desserts surprised me. Very rich and not too sweet options. We had the chocolate cake and peanut butter chocolate cake to share. Our server Zach was phenomenal with his attentiveness. The entire team was great. We would all come back again for another wonderful experience.

Ocean Prime is a favorite of mine. I love the lobster fettuccine. The service & ambiance are always top tier. I appreciate the happy hour specials, the $65 weekday dinner special & the Sunday surf & turf special. It is definitely a go-to. You can't go wrong!!

Where do I start. From the time we pulled up til the time we walked out it was a 10/10. I went for my birthday. The greeting was very inviting. The atmosphere gave you luxury. They have dim lights which is great because all of the furniture/ accessories complimented each other. Our waiter Angie was phenomenal you was very funny and also knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Literally from the bread all the way down to the dessert was delicious. Now just know it's not cheap so make sure you bringing the $$.

Visited during restaurant week and had a wonderful experience. Wheat, oat, barley, rye, and malt allergies here so my options tend to be a little more limited at restaurants. The bar staff made me an amazing cucumber cocktail (with a new to me potato vodka), and the waitress checked with kitchen about a few ingredients to be sure everything was safe. Everyone made me feel 100% comfortable and the food was delicious. It’s also worth noting that my husband’s steak came out a little over cooked for his liking, and they replaced it in only a few minutes. Service was phenomenal.

Phenomenal..... High class service paired with melt in your mouth food, mixologist worthy drink options and an environment that is perfect for a party, date night, or professional event. Reservations can be made through website and recommend booth table by bar that overlooks the river view. Everything we ate was delicious but highly recommend the lobster linguine..... The volume of lobster is very generous

Nice place located on the second floor or patio on the street floor. Food are great. there are choice of Seafood and steak with great choices of the side dishes. Big menu for wine selection. The waiter are professional and know how to deal with clients. All the staff are attentive. great services.

We went there for nice dinner and it was worth it! We ordered calamaris, sea scallop, fillet mignon, and truffle fries. Calamaris were covered in sweet and chili sauce. Sea scallop risotto was my favorite dish and it had peas in it which was unique! Fillet mignon was very tender and soft. The whole experience was great! We ordered 4 dishes without drink, and in total we paid about 200 including tax and tip.

I want to thank Ocean prime for a wonderful birthday meal. The service was impeccable. Thanks Sara and my waiter Ricky Delgado for your hospitality. I had the blackened salmon, the French onion soup. I’ve been many times before and each time.. they’ve always taken care of me. thank you Jorge the valet next door at London house for taking care of my car. I will be back.

We were here for a brief seating at the bar. The lamb was wonderful, but the calamari could be better. I definitely recommend the carrot cake!

Our Anniversary date at Ocean Prime was awesome, thanks to Diana our server for making our day a special one to remember. Service and food was excellent and then you have the roof top with bar and gorgeous view of the city for nice photos. Our second time here. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious food and awesome service! Charles, our server was super friendly and kind to my mother and I! This restaurant has great ambience and perfect for all celebratory events. Ocean Prime really pays attention to detail and I look forward to returning again! The restaurant is adjacent to LondonHouse hotel too, which is super convenient.

🍲🦞🦀 Had a pleasant experience at this warm seafood restaurant in the loop. It’s got upscale vibes and the service here was exceptional. Our server left no stones unturned in making sure we were well attended, that our requests were taken care of and kept us entertained with his hilarious jokes. The noise levels were a tad bit louder than we would’ve liked in a setting like this. But, take nothing away from the food, their Lobster Soup and the Alaskan King Crab entree was yum.

My first time in Chicago and I couldn't have made a better choice on a place to eat, the goat cheese ravioli appetizer is divine, and the buttery lemon garlic sauce goes perfect with the distinguishing taste of the goat cheese. The scallops are AMAZING!!! They are cooked to perfection and are so flavorful!!! And the risotto goes amazing amazing with it, the green peas and the lemon on the risotto go amazingly well with all the flavor for the scallops!!!! Really good food here, sadly my margarita was a little bland.

I had an amazing experience here because of Super Ricardo and Super Mario! Their customer service was outstanding as they were friendly, professional and attentive. I was so pleased with the service I received from them, I rather not dine in if they aren’t there. The ambiance is inviting and welcoming. Super Ricardo and Super Mario also recommended two of thee best cocktails on the menu (the berry and bubbles, pineapple picante). The drinks were deliciously amazing. TBH everything was delicious except I wouldn’t recommend the truffle Mac and cheese. We ordered the Shrimp Sauté as an appetizer and it did not disappoint (highly recommended), lobster spaghetti (highly recommended), lobster tails and a filet mignon which was juicy and cooked to perfection! For desert let’s not forget about the delicious warm butter cake that melts in your melt after every bite. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience dining in with you guys!

Amazing experience. The atmosphere is A1. I would highly recommend this place for a date night birthday dinner. Every staff minute member was very attentive and willing to help if you had any questions or if you wanted to get him a drink they were on top of it every step of the way having a friendly staff definitely does make the experience a lot better the food was timely, plated to perfection, and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for a great night out in Chicago not to mention the views are amazing. Overall, this will be one of my go to spots for special occasions.

Pretty good seafood and steakhouse located in a prime location in downtown Chicago. Had a few different dishes, all were pretty good. My main protein was the bone-in filet, it could have used some butter to finish it off. A friend had the ribeye, tried a piece and that was better. Nice place overall but a bit pricey.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food is always delicious and prepared perfectly! The service is always top-notch! I come here specifically for the pineapple picante! I love the truffle popcorn, the Chilean sea bass, all the sides, and crème brûlée. I take myself here for my birthday yearly and always have a wonderful experience!

We had an excellent time here. We were a party of 14 and the service was pristine. All the server that came to our table were very courteous and on top of everything. All the food that we tried was delicious. The ambiance was great. Definitely a place I will recommend for a nice dinner in Chicago.

This place was excellent! Everything the food, the drinks, the people and the environment in general. I went for a birthday dinner with my birthday twin and they made it really nice for us!. They were shocked it was both of our birthday lol..Our server Gabriel was the BEST! The Only negative was the Brussel sprouts Definitely will return!

Spontaneous dinner with hubs! We were in town for a conference at the Hyatt on Wacker. Just a short walk. Split a rib eye and we both had soup; french onion and lobster bisque. Delicious! Drink was fun, interactive and selish!

Went with mom and fiancee for mother's day. The environment was a bit too commercial for me, and I can't for the life of me understand why baseball caps and gym shoes are allowed for Mother's Day, but the meal was delicious. Between us had the short rib/lobster surf turf, crab cakes, and ahi tuna. The garlic truffle potatoes and candied bacon 🥓 were delicious sides. For dessert, can't recommend the peanut butter pie enough... yum! 😋 The view was nice and servers friendly. Only recommendation would be for them to serve bread, bread sticks or SOMETHING while waiting for your meal.

Valentine's Day dinner was lovely. Our waitress was exceptional and the meal was very good. I enjoyed the red snapper prepared without blackening at my request. The dessert we shared was massive.

I had a great dinner at Ocean Prime last night. But there was only one ☝🏽 issue that I am still not happy about. My “Oscar Style 8oz Steak order came without the Asparagus like in the website pictures. “Don’t you think since this item was missing, I should haven’t been charged for it ?” The manager usually come by and apologise on these kind of situations and the manager here “ Chicago location,” never came by and acknowledge this which made me feel like I was been ignored.

We stopped here for cocktails and dessert after having dinner nearby. We had the carrot cake, butter cake, and peanut butter chocolate pie and they were all delicious. The cocktails were amazing too. I had the bubbles and berries, and it was quite the show. I would definitely go back.

The Atmosphere and food were absolutely amazing... Lauren our server was great. She was attentive and fun.

My husband and I dined here 2 Saturday’s in a row and Lauren W was our server. Lauren was amazing from tending to our needs and providing World Class service. She is knowledgeable and her recommendations for food options were spot on! Her warm personality is great and we look forward to seeing her again!

Best restaurant on my list. This location is great for a date or celebration. Everything from the drinks, appetizer, entree and desert was delicious. Most importantly our waiter Wayne was the best. Their entire staff was awesome.

I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. The atmosphere was really good. This is a high end fine dining place and business casual dress code is needed. I had the surf and turf appetizer. Scallop is solid and the short rib is tender and well seasoned. Lobster bisque is creamy and delicious. I had the sea scallop entry and my wife had the crab cakes. Both were excellent choices and the food quality was fantastic. Overall, definitely recommend this place and will visit in the future.
