I love this small vegan family owned cafe. Along with their variety of food choices and smoothies, there is always a wide selection of board games, informational pamphlets and books on veganism, and classical music playing in the background. The food is consistently delicious and best of all they are always considerate and careful about my food allergies. I’m so glad to have this restaurant in my neighborhood and I recommend anyone who wants to try a vegan food choice for the first time to come here. The curry bowl (pictured) and green smoothie are my go to choices, but no matter what you choose you will not be disappointed!

Got the loving burger and the summer roll. The staff was really kind and the atmosphere of the place was very welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious, the burger sauce was amazing and the design put into the summer roll was very nice. This was the best vegan burger I've ever had. Would definitely recommend.

There are so many things to love about this place. Great service and very helpful with all the questions you have. Food was delicious and fresh, what tops the whole experience is this place are doing their best to be eco friendly. The only thing kind of put me off are the propaganda tv that's being played constantly by the water station. But overall, great cute little vegan cafe, we will be back for sure.

Loving Heart Vegan Cafe feels like home. With such huge hospitality, this has easily become one of the top vegan restaurants in the city. Its menu is rich in flavor and very economical. My favorite are definitely the bowls!

This is my first time eating anything plant based vegan wow the burger is amazing happy burger is the name the soup also was piping hot very good as well a bit pricey on soup all in all 5 stars.

Well, I had a restaurant go way out of the way on Halloween this week! Good guess, it was Loving Heart Cafe! Apparently they were closed that day for maintenance , but I had submitted an online order. I believe it was the owner calling an hour later and apologized profusely, but said they were.closed. “Where else do I eat?” I asked. He said, “let me just make it for you and bring it to your hotel!” Amazed at his tenacity, he delivered all the way across town in traffic for an hour and a half. The food was deelish & I wanted to thank you so much! I’m from Kansas City and I don’t know anywhere here who’d do what you did! If you take time to do this, what other magic are you doing for your customers/friends. My daughter is up there and glad she has a business who feeds their patrons with nutritious food and LOVE. Your name says it all brother and can’t wait to see your beautiful self and team the next time in town!

We were walking down the street for a quick bite and then came across this beautiful cafe. Lady in the front recommended a happy burger which all of us had. I haven’t had a burger in a while that was actually fulfilling and tasted good. This definitely checked all the boxes. Thank you! I will be back to try more options

I had a happy burger, and it was the worst vegan burger I ever had. I have to say that I did not eat it right away. I ate it 3 hours after I got it. I don't think that would have effect the taste. And the texture was completely up putting. I would not eat there again. And I don't plan on recommending this place. I had high hopes and was disappointed.

The employees are so kind every time I go in! I’ve tried a couple of their burgers but the beyond burger is my favorite. Best beyond burger I’ve had. I like to add their fresh avocado to it. They have so many great vegan options reasonably priced. Highly recommend checking them out 💛

Loving Heart is in my top 3 lunch spots in the city. It's a small mom and pop vegan cafe, with incredible flavors and fresh food. There's something so peaceful and rejuvenating about this place. I'm also very food sensitive and I always feel good after eating here. Lots of gluten free accommodations. I always bring friends here for lunch dates!

I strolled in and had the small potato kale soup, summer roll and blueberry cheesecake and it was all soooooo delicious. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Great portion sizes and kept me satiated. A very peaceful ambience. Will be coming back soon!

This place has great service and food. I got the Heaven Wrap and soup and the flavor was amazing. They recommended I try a new smoothie called Heart Beet that's delicious too.

The heaven wrap and mango smoothie with almond milk was a great combo before summer is over. Definitely will come back to try other menu options. Staff was nice too.

This is such a cute little restaurant run by two very sweet people! We order the mango banana smoothie, bento box and the lotus wrap. All 3 items were superbly healthy and delicious! Lots of veggies and packed with flavour!

Small quiet cafe, limited menu. Beyond burger was delicious. Toppings and whole wheat bun were very fresh. Sell the best vegan cookies I've ever tried!

New to the city and was looking for a healthy food option. Came across this cafe and tried their Buddha Bowl with Korean bbq… it was so delicious I went back the next day for another one! Hands-down one of the best bowls I’ve ever had. Super kind staff as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items. Definitely a new favorite place to eat, highly recommend.

I got the happy burger and it was really nice. I was so grateful to eat a yummy, nutritious, vegan burger. I liked that the texture wasn’t really mushy and held together well while eating. It was my first time having cucumber on a burger, so that was pretty cool. They have educational decor, and the books/games shelf is really cute

Lovely place with the kindest owner and staff! Everything is vegan so no worries about cross contamination. They also have lots of gluten free options. Would highly recommend the PB chocolate smoothie - it tasted like a peanut butter cup in a glass! All of the ingredients are so fresh, and everything tastes delicious.

Great little spot for lots of raw, lots of organic, and vegan food. They were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. My favorite was the nachos, and the Tom Kha soup. Will definitely go again. Heads up though, the "chicken substitute" protein is GMO soy, which was kind of surprising and the only reason I give four stars and not five.

I ate here for the first time and this place quickly is one of my favorites in Chicago. How had I not heard of it before?! So friendly, tasty, and a nice price. I got a wrap and a smoothie, and they made so much smoothie they basically gave my friend a smoothie for free. Highly recommend and looking forward to my future meals!

Some of the best vegan food in Chicago! Food is prepared with intention, tons of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The Lotus wrap is phenomenal, and consistent every time I've been!

Fresh ingredients & perfect recipes. So much care goes into everything. I wish the noodle option would come back because they were my favorite to pair with the dishes, but now the burgers are my go-to, and they’re amazing as well!

I ordered 3 things that were all disappointing. Nachos- meh. The quesadilla was soggy and fell apart. And the chocolate cake I ordered was not cake and it was actually a brownie. That was really fricking bad. Do not be fooled by any of the pictures on the website since they are all stock photos .

Good vegan food. I had the happy burger and my sister had the bimbi bowl. The buffet was delicious and my sisters Korean BBQ bowl. It was lightly spiced and delicious.

Not a vegan but my girlfriend is and loves this place. It is one of the few vegan places we actually both enjoy and it all comes down to the quality put into the products and dishes. All fresh, excellent ingredients and flavors. But also immaculate attention to detail in the packaging. Clean food and clean restaurant. Great option!
