Amazing food. Must try the lobster dumplings, mushroom salad and short rib. Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, drinks are featuring local distilleries which might be a pro or con for you. But I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.

The best meal of my life so far. I took my fiancée here to celebrate our engagement and I could not have been happier with everything in this restaurant. The place is unique, but far from pretentious. It has a relaxed but lively atmosphere. I never felt bogged down in pomp and circumstance like so many other fine dining restaurants. The wait staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely incredible. All of it came out at the perfect temperature with real attention to detail. It’s not trying too hard to be elevated, but is still super unique and delicious. Everything was just honest, really well thought out food pairings that tasted great. Also, prices are fantastic. I would have paid 50% more for the meal and still been very happy. Can’t speak highly enough of this place; if you’re thinking about going, you should.

My partner and I had to think hard to try to remember all the great meals of our lives. We agreed that our dinner here at SKY was definitely the best. I don’t say that lightly. Every single dish was mind blowing. They play with flavors and textures in a way I’ve never known possible. Ingredients that were odd when you read them on the menu were made to work so perfectly. After the first 1-2 dishes, you trust them blindly. We left really mind blown. Who knew cornbread could be so good? And the warm mushroom salad was one of the best dishes I have ever had. The service was impeccable and our server knew everything about everything, and made some fantastic suggestions. You can sit on the kitchen counter where you can see the chef and his team working away systematically. The chef is surely destined for culinary fame, he deserves it. The price for this experience made me feel like I was ripping them off. I absolutely intend to come back and try a whole different set of dishes and I’m sure I will not be disappointed. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

The meal was outstanding! The chef tasting, lobster dumpling, cucumber appetizer and cheese cake with multiple sauces were incredible. One of the most enjoyable meals we have ever had. Will bring our friends back!!

I had a wonderful date night at S.K.Y this past weekend! Funny story, we were confused on the place and some how ended up staying there anyway. It was the reopening day, 100% capacity in all places. Yet every place we checked in the area was booked! We were fortunate there was a short wait time when we arrived. Let me tell you, from the host to the waitress, the experience was wonderful. It gave romance and nightlife vibes. The food was very tasty and well plated. Love the small dish concept as it allows you to try different appetizers. I do believe the main dishes were well portioned for an overall fulfillment. Would definitely return, I’m interested to try their brunch menu!

I finally had the opportunity to try out S.K.Y. The inside of the restaurant looked elegant and beautiful. We had a good size group and they were able to put some tables together. Service was impeccable. Food came out at a reasonable amount of time. We didn’t have to wait long. We tried a variety of items. You can find free street parking nearby, it can be a challenge around peak lunch and dinner times. -black truffle croquettes 5/5 - great combination of black truffle, aged white cheddar, and jalapeño. Small kick to it. -Maine lobster dumplings 5/5 - lobster were cooked well. I could eat this dish solo. -warm mushroom salad 5/5 - delicious. Mushrooms cooked well and flavorful. -foie gras bibimbap 5/5 - good amount of food in here. Good size piece of foie gras. -organic fried chicken 5/5 - chicken wasn’t dry, moist and juicy. Creamed gave it extra flavor.

S.K.Y is a lovely dining experience. The black truffle croquettes and lobster dumplings are delicious and good starters. The foie gras bibimbap is a nice concept but was definitely a miss. The carrots were extremely good and were the second best thing we ate that evening. The chocolate cake is good too. We didn't eat anything spectacular but overall everything was good and it was a nice experience.

Really cool place quaint and cozy, food was really good, lots of flavor and good texture. We got croquets, warm mushroom salad and lobster dumplings. My favorite was the mushroom salad. For main entree we had crusted sea bass, crisp and flaky - fresh flavor with a bed of greens. Also short ribs. They were meaty and tender with a great little crust.

Came here for our anniversary and the staff were so lovely, such a perfect place to celebrate our special day! The food here was absolutely delicious and very fairly priced! Every dish was great. We tried the tasting menu. Tasting menus can really be a hit or miss for me, but all of the dishes on their tasting menu were great. Their cocktails were also really good! The food came at a great pace and we weren’t rushed or anything at all. Would highly recommend this place and will be coming back!

We celebrated our anniversary here and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The cocktails were dynamite, our flight of food outstanding, and the service top notch. Our selections were described in great detail, presentation was professional and beautiful, and overall attention to our table was really thoughtful. One of the best experiences I’ve had in Chicago yet! Shoutout to the S.K.Y. Fried Chicken - truly a showstopper

Great place. Good bang for your buck, and good service. Mushroom salad and black truffle croquettes were great. Pork tenderloin was nice and tender. They do love their crisps.

Asian-inspired American brunch that is spectacular in taste and variety. I enjoyed the mushrooms, kalbi and fried chicken. Definitely don’t miss out on the lobster dumplings. Mimosas and bloody marys to accompany the food are well priced. Service is friendly.

The food was absolutely incredible. I would go again..and again...and again. It might be my favorite restaurant in Chicago now. I highly recommend the squash and zucchini bread. For a table of two, we had four apps/shared places, and then shared two entrees and dessert. We left full, happy, and loved the experience. This place deserves a Michelin star.

Wow! Best brunch we’ve had in a long time. The flavor profiles of each course were superb! Their brunch tasting menu is stellar, and the lobster dumplings are a MUST. Service was on point, and the food was fresh and flavorful..What a gem to find in Chicago. They also take reservations right here on google maps, so that was a huge +. Can’t wait to come again and try EVERYTHING ELSE ON THEIR MENU. Really, can’t say enough good things. A+++

The server G was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and personable. The food was good. We enjoyed everything. The kitchen staff did not communicate well so they were confused on who ordered which food. Overall it was a nice place for dates and celebrations.

Amazing fusion for Asian styles with your favourite brunch items. It was pleasantly enjoyable and a great way to brunch. One of the best corn breads I’ve ever had. The croissant was amazing too. Delightfully lovely experience with great staff.

Fantastic new addition to the Pilsen neighborhood. I was in desperate need to experience good food when I got invited to this place. Surprised but the size of the restaurant, but yet the atmosphere is still so intimate. Good cocktail list, inventive menu selections. Absolutely everything we tried was delicious. My favorite thing was something NOT on the menu, and that was the edamame Hors d'oeuvres. It left me wanting more, not to mention was just a preview of what was to come next. We tired the Cornbread Madeleines, the Lobster Potstickers, Hamachi Sashimi, Mushroom Salad. Whew. Not to worry, we mustered up the strength to indulge in our entrees! For our mains, we ordered the Salmon, Short-Rib, Seabass, and last, but certainly NOT least, the Charred Broccoli. All of which I would recommend to anyone. Sit back and enjoy the entire experience, you'll be glad yu did!

The food is simply amazing and the reviews are absolutely true. I wanted to personally give the chef a hug. I came here twice for dinner and decided to try brunch here and I had no regrets. However, the chicken we had for dinner was definitely better than the one I had for brunch. The chicken we had at brunch was not well seasoned. The corn Madelines with the butter was top>>, the croissant with the custard>>

Edit: I left my airpods here (last location shown by “Find MyAirpods” feature on iphone) and they are gone. No one gave them to lost-and-found. Very bad overall experience for me in the end Original Review: Nice cozy place. We did the Sunday brunch here. The pastries were nice and servers are very friendly making the dining experience enjoyable. Mains however took a while to come which kept us waiting after our initial Danish and doughnuts. My egg Benedict's bread was soaked in oil that overpowered the taste of the egg itself. Also left me with a bit of heartburn afterwards (I think that was due to the Gochujang Cheese Danish). Overall, good place to visit once for brunch but not a go-to place for subsequent visits.

Pros: The food was great with innovative flavor pairings. Highlights include croquettes, fried chicken, shisito peppers, and cheesecake. Service was great with the right amount of attentiveness. Cons: The coursing was fast, and we're fast eaters. They could have slowed it down a little. Cocktails were average. The portion size was ok but expect it to be on the smaller side. I've noticed that we got 1 piece of chicken but other tables got 2, and the 1 piece wasn't that much bigger than 1 of the 2 pieces. Strange.

The food in here is simply AMAZING. I would try every dish on the menu and would probably love everything. Very recommended to come here with friends and share lots of bites, as they are small portions but ready to share. After, pick a main course and enjoy with a cocktail, also very tasty. The only downside was the service. Restaurant had around 20 empty tables yet we waited 25 minutes to get seated, standing by the host spot but no host came to us. After that, we changed waitress three times, and it took another 20 minutes to order. Service was good, polite, and charming, but too slow. Food is amazing, but maybe checking waiting times will make this place a top one!

Went for brunch. Tried the pastry set, pretty good selection! My favourite was the black and white croissant and the mantou donut. Lobster dumpling and the truffle croquette were too salty. The thick cut bacon was extremely salty/not edible! Cold buckwheat noodle was refreshing though kind of plain..

S.K.Y is my absolute favorite restaurant in Chicago. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order. I am always delighted with the Lobster dumplings! Stephen Gillanders, our chef, was very efficient, happy and polite. Even thou he was very busy; he came to see how we liked everything. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Chicago. I have to add that the smoked bacon is the best I have ever had. Today I was blown away with the Coconut pancakes which were Perfect! 10/10

Enjoyable dining experience. Wish we lived closer so we could try the rest of the menu. Party of two- one got Chef Tasting and the other ordered of main menu. Every dish was great. Our server David was attentive and knew the menu and drink pairings well. We sat at Chefs Counter and enjoyed watching and listening to the kitchen 'dance'. We would recommend everything we ordered. Didn't have enough room for dessert, but they looked wonderful going out. We stayed in downtown and it was just a$15 Uber ride to and from- it's worth the ride.

S.K.Y immediately caught my attention when i saw the detailed ambience and the innovative ideas that can only be experienced from these Chefs. Once I took a bite of the cold cucumber salad and then the black truffle croquettes, I realized these guys are serious. Being from LA, I never expected much from Chicago since it's the city known for pizza and hot dogs, but I literally came back to Chicago just for S.K.Y.

Excellent service and great food! My husband and I split the sashimi, lobster dumplings, mushroom salad, and fried chicken. I think the mushrooms and fried chicken with corn were my faves. They brought out a delicious scoop of ice cream for his bday too.

This is definitely a must try in Pilsen. The chicken and desserts were our top favorite!!! The presentation was also outstanding. The Service was great and they were super friendly!

I absolutely loved my dining experience. We were taken good care of by Greg and Diego and all of the food was absolutely delicious. Hard to choose a favorite but I highly recommend the cornbread madeleines and my glass of moscato was, personally, an ideal pairing with everything I tried. Definitely a new favorite! I’ll be back to try the short rib but everything pictured was fire.

Giving 5 stars despite the loud environment making conversation challenging and a rough start to the service. Ceaser, our waiter made up for the bumpy start with excellent and friendly service. His recommendations were well received and completely enjoyed. We loved every dish. The warm mushroom salad and truffle croquettes will stay with me for a while. Highly recommended.

S.K.Y. is everything you want when dining out. The food was simply incredible. Our table shared dish after dish of unique and delicious offerings. The staff was amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. The location itself is comfortable and inviting. We will be talking about this meal for some time and be going back as soon as we can. Absolutely top notch!

We really enjoyed all the dishes that we got, the corn bread was surprisingly good, the short ribs had complex and delicious flavors, also enjoyed the warm mushroom salad and the shrimp ceviche. A friend recommended this place and we are so happy we came, the place seems like a hidden gem. The service was also wonderful, all our plates came quickly but we never felt rushed. Would definitely come again!

Great date spot or with friends, modern ambiance inside. We enjoyed a large variety of their menu and we were very pleased with everything except for the cucumber dish which was a bit flavorless. I recommend getting the sea bass, lobster special, hamachi sashimi, shrimp, and some cocktails. Check it out!

Incredible little restaurant with passionate people cooking. Very good food coming from an open kitchen. Dining room is well spaced and lit for a more intimate feel. Servers were on point as well.
