Yummy bagels, great variety of fillings and bagels to build to your taste. Sandwiches too! Got a pastrami one to go and it was huge.

I’m from NYC born and raised so I had pretty low expectations. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with artichoke-parm cream cheese. No shot this was toasted because it was so soft. I don’t think this is an everything bagel (if it is it’s missing..everything). Kudos for the unique cream cheese flavor though it isn’t very strong. Overall, a fine bagel for $3.69. Insulting to say it’s a “famous” “NYC” bagel though.

Excellent bagels!! They also serve a gigantic NY style pizza slice that is also really good. Prices are fair, but worth it. There is a trip hazard leaving the store covered by a black rug - a large raised spot in the flooring so beware if that as I almost tripped while putting napkins into my bag and walking out. Needs something lighter so that the optical illusion of flatness isn’t covered up by the rug! Lunch meats there are Boars head which are quality. I’d rather though see their own brand or get it shipped in from another deli than use a large chain brand deli meat. Great place though! Friendly staff.

The bagels are pretty good. However you have to check your order before leaving the shop. Today I paid for three bagels with different fillings, I added 20% tip. When I arrived to my destination I realized the bagels were empty! I still ate them..

I was a regular (2-3 time a week, $30-$40 per order) tipping customer, but the same cashier messed up the order for the third time. Does the attached image look like there’s bacon, avocado and cream cheese in it. When asked to be refunded, the manager is dumb enough to get in argument over if the terminology of asking to be refunded for the order is equivalent to getting refunded for the bagel when the whole order is just one bagel. On top of that he blamed me for not checking the order before I leave - yeah, I should unwrap the aluminum foil of the bagel and open it up in the shop to peek inside and see if you guys got it right. I can’t even trust you guys to get this simple thing correct? Needless to say, good way to lose a customer when a simple “Sorry, we messed up. Let us make it up to you.” would have done.

Loved this place! Street parking for the cheap and not a lot of seating area, 5 bar chairs to be exact. But the bagels, u la la! Heavenly good! Everything was very fresh and delicious. You are gonna love it. They have regular brewed coffee, hot and cold, which was not the best but to be expected.

IF YOU ARE FROM NY/NJ THESE BAGELS ARE SOOOOOO TRASH. False advertising, much closer to a Dunkin’ Donuts bagel than anything you’d get in New York. This is their everything bagel with scallion CC. Sad.

We ordered quite a variety of delicious meal bagels for takeout and I might have overdone the amount of roast beef and chives I crammed into one bagel sandwich (if that is even possible). We also tremendously enjoyed the salmon bagel and will strongly recommend both of these to anyone.

Non-Descript building…. The menu and layout is actually confusing. Can’t tell who’s wait or who ordered but also menus everywhere. Bagel does have a great bite to it! And no need to say “extra cheese” cause they smear it in on! 👍🏼

Almost NYC bagels. My reference is Issa bagel in Manhattan. A bit overpriced. Half dozen for $9 They need to work on their signs. They don’t advertise half/ dozen/ cream cheese prices

I used to visit the NYC bagels on Clybourn and North Avenue when I worked nearby. I remember getting the everything bagel sandwich with bacon eggs and cheddar cheese. I would get to work and unravel the delightful sandwich from the foil and we just thoroughly enjoy it. So I tried to get that same thing again this time. it was tasty, but it wasn’t the same as I remembered it. The cheddar cheese wasn’t melted, and the sandwich itself seemed a little bit cold where it used to be nice and warm. It was OK though and I was in the mood for a bagel sandwich. I was home visiting for the holidays.

It was tasty, but way overpriced. In NY I get a BEC and I am full, this barely curbed my appetite, but I will say the bacon was wonderfully crispy. For what it's worth, I'm at the airport now and I can get breakfast cheaper.

Every time I visit Chicago I gotta stop by Corey’s bagels! I get a BLT with Chicken salad on a scooped and toasted bagel! So tasty and original. This is not a round piece of bread like some competitors … this a true kettle boiled bagel baby! My son loves em!

Cool little spot within walking distance of Mag Mile. Great breakfast sandwich selections. One of the spices threw me off and left a weird taste but that’s just me and it didn’t stop me from going back.

The sandwich I had was okay. I was thinking I should have tried something else which is why I would visit again. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and I didn't read what was on it and it was spicy. The customer service was great so I probably should have asked what was on the sandwich. Will recommend.

This place is a hit or miss. Lunch sandwiches are big with a lot on the inside which is good for the price but my bagel was stale and hard. The other day I went for breakfast and the bagel was perfect. So they might keep bagels for a day or two. If you add cream cheese to your sandwich it’s an additional 3 dollars. I would say over all it’s on the expensive side. If you stick to menu you come out shared but any add one like avocado, or cream cheese. It’s just a waste of money as they put very little on.

Really good boiled proof bagels. The spread is the right amount of light whipped texture with a flavor punch. The outside of the bagel is crunchy, and the inside is dense and soft. We got the sandwiches. Service was wonderful, the lady at the counter was very kind and knowledgeable, the cooks and bakers in the back clearly work hard to make sure everything is done to perfection. I recommend this place for a quick stop or a place to relax and eat. Really glad we stopped here.

Needed a quick, filling breakfast while in Chicago. Stopped at Corey's. I had a bacon and eggs. Excellent service. Friendly. Good was great.

Visited for breakfast on a few occasions whilst in Chicago. We had a bagel with cream cheese and also a breakfast bagel (egg and cheese) and we rated both. Really good selection of bagels and fillings with quick and polite service from staff. Recommend a visit!

My favorite bagel shop in Chicago, always a must stop when we visit. Service is fast and friendly. The space is small but clean, only a few seats for dine in and gets crowded quickly especially on weekends or peak hours. My favorites are the whitefish salad or low fat tuna salad. Great deli options and bagel varieties including wheat everything

Great bagel! Nice and chewy. The salmon in the Nova Lox wasn’t super fishy, which tells me it was pretty fresh. The cucumber was another nice crunchy flavor. They got all the proportions right on this one!

Great find in Chicago for pre-race carb loading. Will be sure I visit next time! The bagels are fresh & almost an unlimited number of combinations.

Love it , taste so good the corned beef and the egg salad is so perfect, the bagel is nice Maybe little bit of not putting mustard too much it’s overpowering 😅

This place is fire 🔥 🔥 🔥 love the originality of the bagels, the love and atmosphere in the air, how much cream cheese they put, and Francisco is the man!

Most overpriced, flavorless bagel sandwich I’ve ever had. If you’re coming here expecting a NYC bagel sandwich, prepare to be disappointed

Corey's has really stepped their game back up over the last few months and I've left really impressed with the service and the quality of the food each of the last few times I've gone. I seriously think they've hired new staff who are super friendly and make you feel like a part of the gang and not just a customer, and that the food quality has stepped up a notch and the owners are ACTIVELY involved in the day-to-day now. I had gone and grabbed 2 breakfast bagels (bacon, egg, cheese) for my gf and I. Upon getting home I realized they had only put one sandwich in the bag. When I walked back in a few minutes later the staff immediately knew why I was back and the owner Laurie (Corey & Laurie) was insistent on making sure I left with no bad feelings about it and even gave me a bag of their bagel chips and seasoning. Turned a frustrating experience into a memorable one and won over a serious bagel cynic in the process!
