Overall, the food is delicious. The dal, the messy samosa, and the wrap were all tasty in their own right. I had no gripes with any of the flavors. I would absolutely eat here again. You’re going to pay a little bit to dine here, but it is absolutely worth it if you’re looking for flavorful Indian food on the go.

Fast, good, convenient. We split lamb curry spiced medium. It was delicious. Full of flavor. Got 2 lassis. Both delicious. Ordered some grilled pita or something with it. Very crispy on outside nice flavor. We ate there. No decor but clean. Would definitely return.

Review Date: November 26th, 2018 Bombay Wraps was… the bomb. A final stop on my post-blizzard trip to Chicago. After grabbing dessert and a coffee at Stan’s Donuts, I walked with said coffee to Bombay for some real food for the first time on this day. While scouring my GPS for a place to eat at Stan’s, I saw Bombay Wraps. On a cold day, a hot meal sounded wonderful. Of all the places detailed in this blog, there hasn’t been an Indian place until know. It took about 10 minutes to walk there from Stan’s, due to the traffic and the amount of people out and about. Once I got there, I was surprised to see it mostly empty during lunch time. Maybe I had just missed the rush. Oh well, all the easier for me to order. The menu was kind of foreign to me. I knew quite a few of the terms, but that doesn’t mean I knew how they tasted. A few minutes passed of looking over the menu before I had to decide between the chicken tikka and chicken reshmi. In the end, I picked the chicken tikka. The lady cooking it asked if I wanted it spicy. I quickly said “yes” before she could finish her question. The way they make it is almost like subway. They have all the ingredients out and make it as you walk towards the cashier. I was given my food before I could get my change from paying. I grabbed a seat at one of the stools that was along the front wall, so I could look out of the store front as I ate. I noticed my wrap was smaller than I expected but that was fine as I had most of a massive donut a few minutes before. As I tried to pick up this soaking and messy wrap, trepidation set in. I was about to taste my first Indian cuisine and I was nervous. Wrap in mouth, I take my first bite… and am pleasant surprised by how delicious it was. Once I finish the first bite, the spicy kicked in and I took my first sip of the coffee I brought with me. It did nothing to settle the slight burn that was setting in. Wow. I took my time eating the wrap as I was trying to enjoy all the new flavors and tastes I was experiencing. It was delightful. Sadly, the wrap was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. For $5 and change, I was expecting a bit more to the wrap but the quality of what I got couldn’t be beat. Each bite was filled full of flavor and a spicy kick that couldn’t be beat. Alas, this was my last stop before I resumed some family duties. I was in a hurry to get back to where I needed to be that I forgot to snap a good photo of the inside. It was a bit sparse when it came to decorations but there was plenty of room to handle a lunch/dinner rush. This may have been my first Indian cuisine sampling but I doubt it will be my last.

Recently visited Chicago and got a chance to try this restaurant. Brilliant idea on the menu and the best part is you can grab them on the go if you are on a tight schedule like us. All the dishes tasted good(we couldn’t stop with one😋). I specially enjoyed the chana wrap. Must try!!! You will never regret it.

Tried beef kabab rice bowl with added egg. Everything was fresh and absolutely authentic, delicious taste! Green Chatni... OMG! Loved it! Lovely hosts, doing great work. Halal beef and lamb options! I wish chicken was Halal too!

This food was very flavorful and affordable. $5.49 for each wrap (Spicy Reshmi and Tikka) the cheapest I’ve seen in Chicago. However the wraps were small in my opinion. Would have been 5 if it weren’t for the size.

I’ll give it 3.5 stars. Stopped by here for lunch. Highly recommend the paneer (Indian cottage cheese) wrap. The paneer was so soft and deliciously cooked. The chicken (reshmi & tikka both) could have been a bit more flavorful, but decent. Only thing I’d suggest is to tuck the wrap in more carefully, because it opens up completely while eating and gets messy. They also seem to be selling some Indian packaged snacks. I missed out on trying the smoothies they had, there were some good flavors like rose, pistachio, mango etc. Maybe next time. Service is quick and courteous.

Giving 2 stars since i tried their wraps before and they were decent. Ordered delivery from them and the food was disappointing. Sweet potato fries are coated with so much masala, cannot taste a thing. Chicken tikka bowl just had chunks of chicken, lamb bowl was okay but can be better. Both wraps, paneer and lamb were okay. Honestly lacking taste and flavors.

Amazing wraps and delicious. You will not regret it. We had it 2 wraps each person while passing through the street. The delicious choices were chicken tikka wrap and samosa wrap. Ask without tamarind sauce on samosas wrap. I gave 4 stars for the service in order to be more smiley with happy faces with a customer, especially, if the customer thanked you for the delicious food. In all cases, Visit, Eat, and Enjoy.

Great indian street food. Found out that this is a food chain in Chicago. But we had good experience at this particular location. Service was quick and good.

The green chutney(sauce) is brilliant! This is toooo good for Americansied indian food. The Chickpea wrap was amazing. Paneer wrap was a little spicy to my liking. But still very tasty.

Wraps are small. My chicken lacked flavor but the lamb was amazing. If you’re hungry, I suggest a bowl as the wraps are smaller in size and don’t come with veggies on the side like the bowl. This place is convenient if you’re looking for a quick Indian food fix. Would return.

Much-need fast-casual spot in Streeterville that is not a big burger or sandwich chain. Food is always fresh, fragrant, and flavorful. Ideal if you want something you can eat while you walk around downtown or the lakefront. Very affordable especially for the area. Menu could be a bit larger, but the staple options are very solid.

My experience at Bombay Eats in Chicago was a bit mixed. While the food was okay in taste, I found it to be quite costly for the quantity served. The portions were disappointingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied after the meal. While the flavors were decent, the value for money was not up to par. If you're looking for an occasional splurge on Indian cuisine, it might be worth a visit. However, for those seeking a more fulfilling and budget-friendly meal, there are other options in the area that might better suit your needs.

Convenient online order and pickup system, able to customize everything the way you want it and earn some kind of points so would recommend doing that. Super fresh and authentic taste. The wet sweet potato fries stand out as a unique item. The portion sizes are a lot smaller than I expected for the price but it's not too egregious.

Fantastic chicken tikka wrap. My only regret is that I don't live closer and that I didn't try more food. Very fast and very friendly service. Highly recommended.

We ordered quite a few things from them to get delivered and all of them were just too good. My fav were the exceptionally delicious Samosa wraps which have now forced me to visit Bombay Eats more often here on. The delivery and other side aspects were great as well.

Absolutely love this place and the options provided. It’s quick and easy to order, they even have a kiosk. The ambience is great too, however they could work on a few options to provide with their daal that is served as soup of the day. And the quantity could be more.

Had a taste for lamb today, so I ordered from Bombay Wraps. Food came well packaged. No leaks. I ordered the Lamb Curry wrap and lentil soup. Very tasty. They give you a choice of how spicy the curry is. I love spicy food, so I ordered the Spicy Cilantro mint chutney. I couldn't wait for the next bite. Wasn't too spicy. Just enough to make it delicious.

Good for fast Indian food. Great that they have a self-serve ordering kiosk. Very fast service. Could stand to have something other than a 70s pop music track running.

Was visiting Chicago and stopped by this place on my way back from Navy Pier. Lovely Indian style taco bell I would say. Loved the paratha wrap with meat and veg stuff. And also the Indian street food like samosa. I got the paratha with lamb curry. I was really happy with their assorted lassi drinks. I tried the pistachios lassi for the first time and really liked it so much that I had to go back and buy two more bottles lol. It was so delicious 😋😋😋 The paratha wrap was good and I believe it must be ate fresh so it's crispy and nice. It was not as amazing as I thought after I took it to my hotel room. Definitely a great place to visit and try some affordable Indian meal near Navy Pier.

I had the chicken Tikka roll and the chicken Rashmi roll with sweet potato fries and lamb bowl with basmati rice. Along with rose and pistachio Smoothie. It was all very affordable and extremely tasty. Took me actually all the way back to Bombay. Chicken Reshmi roll and Rose Smoothie were my FAV items. The server was quick and courteous. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
