Rooms are fine for a hostel, but the hospitality of the staff is very dissappointing; 3 different hosts in 1 day and each one had no friendliness, not a hello nor even the attempt once to respond in English or Spanish (only Catalan). I'm sure there are better places for this rate.

It is what it is, it's a hostel and cheaper than hotels (which is why we stayed). We had a private room with en suite, air con and balcony. Can't complain about the room, its basic but does the job, cleaners come daily with fresh towels and made the bed. Good shower. Only thing I didn't like is that you only get 1 very small pillow and so wasn't too comfy, I did ask for another but was told no. Its also very noisy, we were lucky enough to be staying mid week, but all voices and doors closing can be heard at all hours. Again you get what you pay for, so its not a complaint but just an observation, if you're wanting a cheap stay for a few nights to be out and see the city then this is perfect! Its super close to the main bus stops and the metro. Nice area. When finding restaurants walk off the main street a bit and find the more local tapas places, most nights we walked about 1km and the food was so amazing.

Beru small room, some staff members are bait rude

The reception guys was really unfriendly, like really agressive. Not possible to check in before 14h or leave the bag in à safe place.2 toilet shower for all the room. The ac have a collect water system who is as noise as an expresso machine, so all night with big noise in the room.the terassa was smelling urine. Terrible expérience and horrible hôtel.really dont recomand it.

Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to sleep in a sauna? If so stay at Hostel Friends. Our room didn’t have AC during even though it is advertised with it. Was a pretty miserable night and would not recommend.

The hostel is super central. The personal were ok, they could be nicier. At least when I arrived, the one in the reception couldn't speak English, and didn't give any information about the room and the hostel. The room is super nice, it contains Air conditioning and a small fridge. The lights where not so strong and in the bedroom which I was located there was an alarm light, which was not possible to turn off for clearly reasons, but then at night it was to much light.. There were two toilets, they were very well cleaned. But unfortunately both were always running out of toilet paper. The soap and alcohol gel was located in just one of the toilets.

Very close to Plaza de España and Rocafort Metro Station. It's a hotel offers the basics. We stayed at la habana room for 3 nights. We had a bed, airconditioner, bars to hang our clothes, a mini fridge, a tv..It has a confortable private bathroom. It's a bit expensive for what it offers thought.

Hostel offers place to sleep...basically. Do not except anything more. Rooms are clean, you Can have hot shower and use toilet. Toilet in our room was too small that you cannot close door becouse your legs are in door. You Can hear every noise whole night so sleeping is hard. I do not belive They have any heating system during winter so expert no warm. Service is minimalised to bare minimum. If you get greetings from the receptionist, consider yourself a lucky guy. Thats it. Hosel did a job for 2 nights but I cannot tell it was a pleasure.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Firstly, if you've got mobility issues this is not the place to stay. There are about 30 steps up to the hostel. There is a lift but not to the floor of the hostel. I found the room adequate. No more, though. But it did have a balcony. ( booked a double room) The showers. No matter what I tried, I could not get any hot water. Used these 4 times. Again no hot water.

We like our staying, the location is very convenient, a big room, good service.

We had a bedroom for 3 people and jt was perfect. Clean. Very well located. Overall a good experience if you want to stay in BCN and not pay too much. It may be different if you go for the shared rooms and bathrooms but for the 3 bed bedroom it was quite OK

Worst hotel in Barcelona, disrespectful and unprofessional. The bed was broken, we asked them if there is a possibility to change it or have another room they refused I had to cancel the reservation and look for an other hotel.

Cheap and well located but noisy and old. A budget good opcion (not i hot Season)

The bathroom was a little run down, but everything worked. They provided clean linens and towels. The staff was attentive. Our room faced the street and we could watch the world go by. It’s a great budget option.
