The exhibition cum sale at Taj showcased a captivating array of unique jewelry and dresses, all available at decent prices. The collections on display were exquisite and offered a wide range of options for fashion enthusiasts. However, due to the limited space, the venue felt a bit cramped, resulting in a crowded environment. Nonetheless, the quality of the items purchased was commendable, reflecting the attention to detail and craftsmanship. The jewelry pieces were intricately designed, while the dresses boasted elegance and style. Overall, despite the crowded ambiance, the exhibition cum sale at Taj provided an opportunity to acquire exceptional items of good quality, leaving customers satisfied with their purchases.

Let me start with the positives. Room service team is wonderful and they are always at a call away. I would say they are exceptionally dedicated in service. (Read till end to see why only 4 stars for service). Now the location, its absolutely prime. Lovely pool, very big area and nice service as well. But very disappointing that there is no kids pool. Parking is also very good. Rooms are pretty normal just like a 3 star hotel, there is nothing amazing when I compare with the other places I have stayed. Sad to say that the amenities were average. Also was shocked to see the tea kettle in my room had rust inside it. Pretty disappointed with the reception team, nobody was so welcoming, they were all in a bad mood I guess. (Again this feedback is in terms of the pleasing service that I have seen at other 4 stars and 5 stars.) Overall slightly overpriced, you get much better options if you're ready to spend this much for staying 1 night.

Excellent hotel to stay. It ticks all check boxes of 5 Star stay. However they are not able to handle breakfast properly. We had to wait for 20 mins even to be seated. Though I have to mention service staff was working over time to get things comfortable! If they could set this right, then they are all set! Only for this, I am not rating them 5 star. Pool is decent about 30m in length and clean. Well maintained gym and deck is excellent! It's in best part of Coimbatore with nice play area by the road side. Also taps are little old where water control is little difficult. Please see if you can replace them with automated taps. Feel sad to see water getting wasted.

It’s in a great location, right on the Race Course Road. The staff are courteous but could be more customer focused (at the front desk). The ambiance is good. The breakfast buffet had a fair amount of variety not extravagant. The most disappointing part is that the bathrooms are too small for a hotel in this category. Also the design is not that great. The rooms are spacious but you could see the age. It’s not bad but could have been upgraded interior wise and also with respect to the amenities. The pool is good but would have been good to have a kids friendly area. Overall slightly disappointed with some of the areas but still a decent option in this band.

Stayed here for over 3 weeks added up on my wife and my trip to Isha Yoga Center here in Coimbatore. We are from the United States originally. We have absolutely loved our stay. The staff here are truly amazing. Everyone is super friendly and are happy to assist in every aspect. We enjoyed many many meals here, the chefs are very experienced and make all types of cuisine. We recommend going with the inclusive meals as we did dinner and breakfast here every night. It's worth it! My wife and I highly recommend the stay here and thank the staff for treating us like royalty! 🙏

Difficult to approach. The road surface outside it is pathetic and downright dangerous, have to travel over those public roads very slowly. Located in a prime area of Coimbatore. I went there to attend a function, but the food was sub par at best, especially the non vegetarian dishes served (chicken and fish). Desserts was the only thing worth a second glance. COVID-19 protocols followed until u enter the hall.

Good hospitality all around, at the entrance, front desk, housekeeping and at the restaurant. Rooms are clean & spacious, good quality mattress, bathroom is clean and well appointed but the dark brown tiles make it quite dark. Used the spa and steam room and both were good too. Breakfast was delicious, good variety for both continental as well as Indian. Didn't try the lunch or dinner buffet but had dinner 2 nights as part of the wedding festivities that i was attending and the food was good especially the live counters for dosa, pasta and chinese food. Shout out to Ibrahim in housekeeping who went out of his way to make my stay comfortable.

We went for dinner today at the Ground floor restaurant. First have to appreciate the waiters for being very polite and patient. When we finished one of the managers asked if we have come for any special occasion. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and so they quickly arranged a cake for us. I wanted to appreciate their thoughtfulness and effort to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. Thank you.

Room service is very poor and very slow. For every request i had followed up multiple times and then they take there own sweet time to deliver. I requested for water and followed up multiple times and they didn’t delivered. I asked for baby food for my son and they charged for that as well. No kids pool and no temperature control in pool. I gave one extra star because my parents liked the breakfast apart from that everything is ordinary. I think they are running hotel with less man power.

Had an amazing stay at this wonderfully maintained property. The cleanliness of the hotel is quite commendable. The staff is extremely courteous and goes that extra mile to ensure you have an amazing stay. But the highlight is the food - the sheer pricing, quantity and taste would leave you dumbfounded. You would guess that at a hotel like this food would either be a bit expensive or portions would be small, but I was blown away by both their quantity and the extremely affordable pricing of their food options.

Hotel is too good the one this i liked the most is the food they served...food was really good and room service also very fine...pool was closed due to corona restrictions...5star for a reason...expected balcony in the rooms but balconies are not available...

Located aptly.. Not too far not too close from airport/city. Prime area of Racecourse road which is right in front after you step out from the hotel and good for a jog/walk at anytime of the day. The food was good and had a mix of continental and local cuisine. The staff are well mannered and helping natured. The gym was well equipped but a little more ventilation would help. The open area at the second floor was nice and breezy. Spa services were decent. Only thing weird that I observed was that there wasn't even one local person in the entire staff!!! It was difficult to enquire something regarding the city (places/travel guidance/safety precautions as per locality/miscellaneous queries regarding the local chores) as they weren't able to confidently solve/suggest the queries.

Very helpful staff. Mr. Ganesan was very helpful particularly when we wanted a long distance cab in a very very short time. He made it happen. The spa is fantastic.

During my one-day stay, I had a pleasant experience with a warm welcome, a well-appointed room, excellent in-room service, and an impressive menu that included a delicious Tenderloin steak.

A lovely, pet friendly luxury hotel. I travelled with my kid and my dog and had a blast. The balcony in the room was just the right thing for the dog and the lawn outside the balcony was an amazing add on, the best feature in fact, for families that want their pet to have a good run and a good time when travelling. There was a handicraft exhibition going on at the time I visited and it was lovely too. The food in the hotel downstairs was good( I tried fish and biryani, both were amazing).

The food was awesome here. The service here is literally too good, like they treat you the best here. The pool here is clean and maintained properly. Everyone should visit here atleast once to experience this awesomeness.

We've stayed at this hotel earlier and is a decent hotel to stay overnight for a short visit. It's fairly centrally located which is a huge plus We visited the hotel a couple of days ago. Lots of conferences and meetings were going on, staff seemed to be very busy so we were not surprised that there were not enough staff deployed in one of the restaurants where we had our dinner. Despite the acute shortage of staff, one of the staff Lily, did an incredible job, single handedly managing multiple tables. There was no supervisor around and no one to show us where to sit etc. Anyway, Lily was the saving grace. For our breakfast the next morning, there seemed to be more staff around so the experience was better. Otherwise the overall service was good. Palash stood out at the reception desk. However, I would have extended my stay by a day but decided against it as I was not guaranteed the same room and didn't want to get into the hassle of shifting rooms. Overall services was average.

Excellent location and great service. I had a billing issue with a meal and was looked into promptly by the mgmt. The Chinese restaurant is fabulous. Reatuarant Latitude was also a great experience as the Nizam food festival for on. The food was sumptuous and the wait staff are extremely responsive.

Hotel is nice and buffet is great. Deluxe room with patio is warm and welcoming. Jiva spa is nice, just make sure you get the therapist that you book, and also there should be a staff member around to operate the steam and sauna. I was on my own.

I never rate, but was forced to, when unexpected things happen. Excellent food, no doubt in it. But presumptuous frowny face manager @ latitude Taj Hospitality is contrary, not as shown in TV documentaries.

For a Taj property, the experience and service was extremely poor. 1) After check in, there were no towels in the room, we had to call twice for towels and an hour later it showed up. 2) the rooms are not maintained , furniture is chipped , no coffee sachets in the room. Bathrooms are dirty . 3) We called room service for bottles of water 4 times at night and it had not shown up until the next morning. We had to call them again the next morning two times , asked for the duty manager and then got the water . 4) the hotel was fully booked and breakfast the next morning was a nightmare . There were no tables and we had to wait for over an hour to be seated for breakfast . Not to mention , an absolutely rushed breakfast with long lines that we couldn’t even get through. All in all a terrible experience. Would not recommend the property !

Had a good stay at Vivanta. Good things - breakfast is good. Staff at the Latitude restaurant are also very good. Swimming pool is well maintained , spacious. There is a lifeguard who is friendly. House keeping is good. Lobby staff and security guards are all very friendly and helpful. What needs to improve - rooms are decent but an area to be worked on because this property shows its age a lot. Required a lot of renovation. Lot of poor design is visible in the toilet. Front office staff except the junior ones who don’t wear a suit need some grooming. The younger junior staff appear much more passionate than these senior ones who probably think Taj is a government company. Overall good stay. But will hope facility gets renovated to justify this pricing.

Amazing place in the heart of the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Vivanta name tells about hospitality and luxury. The place is situated on Race Course Road and is a big hotel with all the amenities like swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, bar, restaurants and open air restaurant. The service here is totally awesome and the staff is very welcoming and responsive and ready to help you with whatever possible. Ashly was the front office manager and was and was so welcoming and helpful in all providing us amazing services and suggestions related to city. Stayed here sometime back. One of the best hotels in the area. Very good rooms, food and service. Taj hotels always keep their best standards. This place has only a small conference hall and hence not suitable for large meetings. Several smaller meeting halls available in the hotel with excellent ambience and hence good for conducting interviews, business discussions etc.

We went for a four-day Local staycation Very comfortable stay. The staff is very cordial and helpful. The breakfast buffet spread is fabulous and covers traditional local dishes to international cuisine. hygiene is very good and good measures are taken to prevent and avoid any spread. we had a wonderful experience and the stay duty manager Mr.Ansari was warm and friendly to all guests and did the sweetest special gesture for us. would recommend for a stay in.

Went to the Latitude restaurant for a buffet lunch. Experience was average. The biggest put-off was them cleaning the floor of half of the restaurant during peak lunch time. Gave feedback to their GM who promised to correct it. Food taste was average with only the starters and sweet dish being worthy of talking about. The main course was so-so. Overall an average experience. Will not go there again.

I had a very nice stay .. food is really good. . post COVID protocols are followed .. They are little laid back .... They are still training the staffs for post COVID services .. Spa is very good .. reasonable for the price mentioned ... I really missed the swimming pool .. hope it gets opened soon ..

Good morning sir I faced many difficulties during my stay here on 5.7.2023 to 8.7.2023. Some of the appliances didn't work properly like one day I can't open my room using my key then I called the front desk they opened my room using their main key and next day only I got my key to punch And another morning I had a terrible experience my breakfast was not on time as I am already running late for my meeting and the staff was so irresponsible,miscommunication and unhelpful they didn't even allot a place for me to eat for a long time as I am a single one ,they are considering only group of people and alloting place and taking order for them and I waited for a long time finally I ordered one Dosa they mentioned it as self service how can a Dosa be taken as self service ?? Later they told we will prepare and give and one more staff is asking to pay bill I already paid for an complete package .Is this how?? They can treat a customer ??? I wont recommend this place for anyone .Not at all a guest friendly place to be. Spending a lot of money and getting treated like this it's not worth .The service definitely needs to be improved. I hope things will change soon, atleast after seeing these kind of reviews

Bed and food is good. But, they have to know what ergonomics is all about. I wonder how they designed to keep health facet on left side, with knees hitting the tissue holder. Sort of punishment, heavy people do your stretching. Bathrooms are very slippery. Its a luck if you come out unhurt. Not even holders. Staff are not even smiling. Managers are behind them watching every step.

Perfect place to stay in coimbatore - the rooms are very neat and clean the view of the main road is excellent from the room , the bathrooms and washroom where shining like stars ( very neat and clean) breakfast has many good options starting from South Indian food and Good North Indian cuisines as well - The best part was the cleanliness of the swimming pool the hotel have maintained - The location of the Hotel is excellent and the surrounding places are very good - Overall it was an excellent stay starting from check-in till check-out. Located close to railway station and race course. But far from the airport. But very convenient if you plan to travel into the city. Check in can be delayed and early morning is a time they are apparently short of staff. So you may have to occasionally demand for toiletries. The food was good and the staff friendly. Ideally suited for family and travellers for work within the city

Our stay at the Vivanta was super comfortable. The entrance lobby is grand and well decorated. We were impressed with the room upgrade at check-in, cleanliness of the property and the extremely polite, courteous and super friendly staff at reception, in housekeeping and at the breakfast service. The breakfast was awesome and the filter coffee very delicious. The mattress was excellent and very comfortable. Our 8th floor room had mountain view and was very spacious. Highly recommend the hotel to all looking for a memorable stay in Coimbatore.

We had gone for a dinner by the Poolside. Amazing service and lip smacking food & Fantastic ambience made our dinner memorable. Plus they git a cake for us to cut for our anniversary. A very thoughtful gesture. Have to mention Ms. Chanda Mr. Guru and MR. Parthasathy.

It was very inspiring to see the managers of all the departments (GM, Sales, Front Office, Wellness, F&B, Security, Housekeeping, Finance, HR) being present in the restaurant during complimentary breakfast time to help the restaurant staff handle the huge holiday crowd. Because of this, tasks such as replenishment of buffet food items were done instantly eliminating delays. This teamwork deserves a huge applause. This was also observed during the New Year Eve dinner and other events. This hotel is our second home. The personal attention and care that we get in this hotel makes us keep coming back repeatedly.

We went there for a family dinner. The buffet spread was great. Variety was great and the food was delicious, to say the least. Dessert was my favorite and there was a judicious mix of all varieties. Enjoyed 3 hours of great family time and the buffet restaurant provided the ideal ambience for that 😋

I must say that it was an amazing experience to stay at this hotel..The rooms were so clean and well maintained.. also each and everything that u see in the pics of Vivanta hotel in Google it's the same place that was most surprising because now a days the real pictures aren't visible to the world... We had great time here and all the staffs are so polite and friendly... We had no issues with anything we just loved the stay and looking forward to visit again in case of our trip to Coimbatore

We are just back home and our night stay in the hotel could not have been better and so pleasant. The location is perfect fabulous for ease of getting to and from Airport . The staff is helpful, we had a very late check in and the man in the reception was so nice and helpful . The room was spacious .Breakfast was very good. A lot of varieties: hot cold food, pastries fruits coffee tea, so tasteful. Want to say a special thank you Lily and Seema and Durgesh.Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip and stay.

We stayed with our family here and it was good decision. Grand lobby with warm welcome by Seema and Srishti. Receptionist Lily and Durgesh made our stay comfortable with Excellent service and quick check in and check out. They are going on with their Red pearl food festival which was executed well.
