Super cozy, traditional irish pub with all originality. So sincere and people are very nice as well. You can also watch football matches or enjoy listening music while drinking your lovely beer and having a good craic!

Fun place to stop for a drink before dinner. Delightful decor, decorated for Christmas but we could see stained glass above the snowflakes that looked exquisite. Just a homey, warm location. perfect to hang out with friends.

1st time in An Bodhrán! Which is situated on Oliver Plunkett street Cork city! Has seating inside and outside! Place has great Character and a Historical building in the Centre of Cork city! Place for Groups or on your own! Has a state of the art Duke box with every kind of music you like. Bar staff friendly and helpful fast service. No Food here! Good clean pints here but only reason I didnt give this a 4 star or more is the Expensive price of a Pint bit on the High side! Only thing I had Negative about! Toilets up stairs so if you have a Disability it's a steep climb. Place has live music most nights too. Seating outside too.

Super cozy pub that makes you feel like you are in the 1800s. Fireplace surrounded by cushy benches and a man in the corner singing ancient Irish songs. The bar staff is also attentive and friendly. Love this place!

3 Sound guys behind the bar who let us have access to the Jukebox unrestrained on a Saturday night....Such a great vibe in the pub....You do Cork proud...from a Limerick 🇳🇬 man...

Very nice pub! Old style type of pub which is refreshing to see nowadays! Bar man, he said his name was Timmy but I'm not sure, pours a really good pint of Murphy's and he is good craic! Class!

Good pint. Loud, cosy, classic Irish pub. Probably not for you if you want craft beer, or no sports on TV

Great pub full of charm and typical of a traditional Irish pub. No television, no distraction, and one can have good conversation.

Dropped in for a pint and there was a fabulous young man singing live. Such a great atmosphere. Small area but you just cram in, the Irish way.

Refused to serve my partner and I on a very quiet Monday night because my partner was wearing causal tracksuit bottoms… in a pub. Baffling, but we found another lovely pub in the end!

Looked a very quaint & traditional Irish pub from the outside, was looking forward to going in. I went to the bar & was told to leave because I was wearing joggers? No real reason given, no sign on the door saying they weren’t allowed. Instead of politely explaining the policy me and my partner were just told to leave. Bizarre policy for a casual little pub, you’d expect such a policy in a posh establishment but this pub most certainly isn’t that…

Just here for drinks it's a smallish bar but has plenty of character and atmosphere. Bar staff dealt with the customers with ease and efficiency.

A cosy pub in the city centre. There's always a lively atmosphere there. As far as I know it's one of the few proper independent pubs left in the city.

We were there on a Friday night, live music, good crowd and a bit of craic.. Back 2 years letter after getting rid of covid and it's still the same music and craic, and maybe a sneaky quiet pint..

Mam and dad came to visit from Dublin and I'm so glad we went there as they love it. It was not a 5 star hotel or restaurant it was a 5 star pub with great people from cork making people from anywhere feel like home. Big thank to all involved 🙏

A nice little pub. The Christmas decorations make it feel very cozy. They have a delicious mulled wine. Apart from some small snacks there is no food served.

Good place for a pint. Nice atmosphere and friendly barman. When I went there, it was 9 PM, a Wednesday and the bar was really empty. Maybe 3 or 4 clients. Got served immediately. Recommended.

Having just landed in Cork after 15+ hours of traveling, I couldn't have found a better place to have my first drink on vacation. The back area is a cozy hideaway that easily has you forgetting the retail craziness that's just steps outside.

👍👍 Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and have a nice drink or three in downtown Cork. I had the fish and chips and the wife had the lamb stew...they were both perfect. Service was first rate and I'd highly recommend heading to the bar for a talk with the experts on a food whiskey choice! You cant...

👍 Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
