Great for sports, plenty of TVs and viewing angles. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food is good but lacking vegetarian options.

It was our 2nd time booking the restaurant for a party. The service was great, staff really lovely, nice, helpful and respectful. The food was amazing and worth the money. Definitely will be returning to the place 😁😁

Bank holiday weekend for a few drinks and food. Great menu options for food and plenty of beverages to choose from. Staff were excellent and locals very friendly. Highly recommend.

Visited this evening with family to celebrate a birthday, and the service was fantastic! Chantai was our server and we couldn't have asked for better service. She was happy to chat, nothing we asked for was too much and she made our night!

Wow need to have the steak on the stone it was delicious! The staff are wonderful and so helpful they went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. The Expresso Martinis are beautiful

The staff is very friendly, particularly the girls who are very nice and helpful. While the place might not be the newest, there are no reservations needed. The food is very good, especially the chicken fajitas. Overall, I recommend this place.

Excellent sports bar , by far the best in Douglas if not Cork, lots of screens and spacious open plan setting which can hold a crowd with its many seats available. The food is standard but good - it’s pub grub, on a limited enough menu. Goes down a treat with a few drinks. I think some people forget this is a bar and judge it as a restaurant…

I was at a 21st birthday on Saturday night in the Upper room. May I say ,your 2 bar staff were superb .The girls name was Gabby and I didn't get the young man's name that worked with her.. They served along the bar ,left to right and back,engaged with those waiting and did not leave anyone waiting too long . I would say ye could have done with sending someone to do the glasses and clear th2 build up fir them,but they managed that superbly as well.

Had the steaks on stone. Lovely dish, only thing letting it down was the watery pepper sauce that wasn’t very peppery. Service etc all good!

I had my engagement party here. The service was amazing! The food was delicious. Every tiny detail was accounted for. The staff were so helpful on the night. The manager Yuliyan Andrianov was only new and he made our night so memorable! Location is great! Thank you!

I can't comment on the accommodation because I was only there for lunch. I had the Thai Green Curry which was delicious, full of flavour and with a kick. They had non alcoholic cider which was a bonus (for the designated driver). However, I ordered hot chocolate and it was brought with marshmallows which I hadn't asked for, nor did the waitress say she was going to put them in, in advance. I'm vegetarian and marshmallows contain gelatine which isn't suitable for vegetarians, so I politely asked the waitress to make a fresh hot chocolate, explaining why. It was obvious from the cold to luke warm hot chocolate that I was served the second time around, that I was given the same one with the marshmallows taken out, which I was not impressed by-the glass cup was stained, as was the napkin below it, from the marshmallows being poured out. This is the first time it's happened, not the first time I've been served hot chocolate with marshmallows from waiters taking liberties, but the first time that a restaurant didn't make a fresh hot chocolate when I explained that marshmallows aren't vegetarian. Not good enough, considering I spent over €70 there for 2 main courses, drinks and beverages. They thought I wouldn't notice when it was obvious that they were too mean to make a fresh hot chocolate. I won't be going to East Village again, despite the fact that the food was tasty and the service was efficient, apart from the hot chocolate issue. I'm slow to recommend them because of it. The music was very loud also. As I recall, there were 7 screens so it's a sports pub that does food I would say.

Visited bar on Thursday night. Only 3 tables occupied, we sat at bar , service appalling. 3 bar staff on duty who appeared to be chatting. Waited at least 10 mins before we were asked what we would like. Ordered Irish coffee, my husband had almost finished his pint before my drink arrived. Bar man did his best but clearly he had not been trained. Would not return 😕.

Paid €33.90 (€40 inc. delivery & tip) through Deliveroo for a portion of fajitas and ribs with fries and slaw. The sides for the ribs never arrived and the fajitas were very poor. The fajita mix itself was very watery with little flavor. I tried to call the restaurant several times but not a single person answered on any line. Never again.

Visited today , lovely staff and flavourful food , also the cocktails are fab and at a low price compared to other places.

Was here with a group for a staff night out, had a nice area reserved. Very nice place. The staff were very friendly. Food was very nice. Good atmosphere. Only downfall is the parking availability outside. But good place to eat or meet friends for a night.

I saw the chairs had some kind of residue on them but i never dreamed they cleaned them with some kind of bleach that destroyed my new jeans. Great place to come if you want your nicest clothes destroyed.

Decent meals with the best honey BBQ wings ever. Great selection of cocktails. Helpful staff. Restaurant upstairs was closed so we ate in the main bar downstairs. Toilets are down a level again which might not suit everyone. Good service as always.

Waited ages for our mains, my partner ordered a burger which didn't arrive for nearly a half hour and when it did arrive it was cold. My ribs had barely any meat or sauce. Really disappointed and won't be back.

We had booked a table for 4 when we arrived I was told sit wherever. worded dinner and drinks and got both in a timely manner My sons had ribs and burger and both said they were nice Myself and my husband both had steak sandwich with onions and mushrooms and pepper sauce This is when things went bad There was very little meat almost no onions and my husband got a slice of a mushroom I didn't get any It was dry and tasteless The pepper sauce had a skin on it and was cold The only good thing were the chips I tried to order a second round of drinks but no one came near us I eventually had to go to the bar and order the drinks We waited more than 30 minutes for our plates to be cleared and our desert order to be taken again this came out quickly but I had order white chocolate and fresh raspberry cheesecake with coulis There was no raspberry either in the cheesecake or on the plate and it was not nice I paid the bill and spoke to the waiter who apologized but couldn't wait to get away and gave me the impression he didn't want to know When I got he o sent message to them and haven't received a reply not even an acknowledgement that I had messaged My bill was over €120 and was very very disappointing I would have been better to go across the road to mc donalds,

Came for restaurant and some drinks. Food was dry and bland. Ordered a steak medium rare which came closer to well done than anything also veg and steak both very greasy. Stick to chicken wings and drinks. Do not get the sad excuse that they call a cheese cake either, just cream.

Went to the restaurant haven't been in years - got the buffolo chicken sandwich & spanish fries should have gotten a hotter sauce and my bro got the fajiata, said there wasn't enough chicken - decent nothing special

Only here for a drink. We'll stocked bar with friendly staff. Lots of TVs with sport. Too much loud music for me but good for younger ages

Used to eat here regularly before COVID and usually ordered the Philly cheese steak. Unfortunately tonight it was dry and bland. No flavor at all, found 2 pieces of onion and a couple of pepper cubes, I think the cheese was forgotten as couldn't see any. Very disappointing. Service was perfect all staff very helpful and friendly, pity the food let it down.

had a meal there Thursday night with a friend of mine. it was beautiful. I had the fish + chips the fish melted in my mouth. pity they didn't have budweiser on draft.

Nice place, used the restaurant space above for an event and all the family loved it. There was a variety of plates served with classic quick eat foods such as chicken wings, chicken strips and loaded nachos. There's a bar and TV's to watch sports events. Downstairs seemed to be mainly a bar for over 18's with pool tables and TV's.
