The place is WONDERFUL, is perfect! The owner received to us like a family! We bedrooms are so confortable, there are heaters in each room, all the decoration is gorgeous. But the best thing is the hospitality! We are here in Easter and the owner bring to us a chocolate bunny ๐Ÿ’š 100% recommended! Thanks so much for this wonderful weekend!

Lies, Phoned a day before, wondering if I could Drop my bags off early as my flight came in early, and man said my room was ready, not being used, and I could just book in, when getting there the place was empty, and very shabby looking, like the Manson holiday home, dirty and run down, it was close to 10 am and still no one there, no lights on not one cooking breakfaster not cleaners, nothing, then some grumpy woman opened then door and insulted me, I showed her my booking information and explain that I phoned and confirm, but she continued to be rude, So I left Drive to Rochestown Park Hotel and booked in and went straight to my ROOM Avoid, it's dirty, run down and owned by nasty people, plenty of other choices around.. Zero Stars.

My husband and I stayed here 8th and 9 th of October 2021.. We were met at the front door by Eileen who greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. She showed us to our beautiful room..She just really wanted us to have a lovely time. Offered advice on restaurants and even offered to drop us into the city. Breakfast on both mornings was beautifully presented and Eileen was very attentive to our needs. And again offered some tips on places to go for the day. Arrived back mid afternoon and agian Eileen met us straight away to make sure we ok. We weren't long back in out room when she knocked on the door and presented us with 2 slices of delicious homemade apple pie.. She took a real interest in how our day went . Breakfast iwaa cooked each morning by Mike. We would highly recommend Fleming's Country house for a unique and personalised experience.

What a find? This is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. We stayed here for Valentine's night and what a treat lay in store for us. We were met on arrival by the owner Michael who was a true gent and made us feel very comfortable straight away and insisted on helping my husband with the luggage which was really nice. He then introduced us to the hostess Jacinta for the evening who showed us where we would be dining and gave us our choice of tables for the evening which was a great start as the rooms were tastefully decorated for the occasion with a big warm welcoming stove at one end and another stove at the other really cosy. She then showed us to our room which was equally impressive with its high ceiling and grand design and really comfy with tea and coffee making facilities. That evening the dinner was beautiful a six course tasting menu with all trimmings and the atmosphere was just lovely and to cream it all off while we were at dinner downstairs a scented candle had been lit in our bedroom awaiting our return. Following a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed we got up to a well presented breakfast for just in front of the fire and this was prepared and cooked by Eileen, Michael's wife who was a real lady and could not have been nicer to us. To sum up five star treatment from start to finish. Best regards, Michael & Patricia O'Driscoll

We had our wedding here in May 16. It was not just an absolutely amazing fabulous day but the whole journey from the first day we met Michael and Eileen up to even still today has left us with really great memories. They got to know us, we got to know them and well every, encounter and conversation we looked forward to, enjoyed and alway felt assured that they โ€˜gotโ€™ exactly what was important to us and how we wanted our day to be. We had the whole venue to ourselves, the rooms were beautiful, the food fantastic, the pace nice and relaxed, but most outstanding of all were Michael, Eileen and their staff as they attended to every single detail with lots of chats, conversations and humour and really made us and all our guests feel very special-they were great. All in all could not not rate the whole experience of having our wedding in Flemings highly enough; it kind becomes part of who we now are, if that makes sense. Obviously we would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The mansion is amazing and has a fabulous vintage charm, and the room was very cosy and traditional. Although I arrived way too early, the host welcomed me very warmly and already showed me my room. The host couple is wonderful and gave me great tips what to visit in Ireland, also spots that are not so touristic. The hostess even drove me to Cork with her car, so I didnโ€™t have to wait for the bus. I felt very welcome by the hosts and their two adorable cats.

Beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous rooms, very quiet and serene. Even has the original shutters for the windows to block the light and sound. Room and building are extremely clean. Hostess was very helpful.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Do not judge this book by it's cover. The worst and most unwelcoming host I have ever experienced running any kind of hospitality establishment. The grounds are lovely but one has to deal with the semi-highway that it is next too. I'll be paying the extra EUR next time to stay closer to town.

We spent one night at the Fleming Country House. We have rarely experienced such a warm host. Michael ran a high-class French restaurant in the old manor house for many years, which he had to give up for health reasons. Now he runs the B&B here. The house and the rooms are reminiscent of the glory days. You can feel the passion and dedication with which Michael runs his house when you ask him about its history. Instead of spending the evening in town, we decided to buy food at the Take Away, especially as Michael offered to set a table for us in the old restaurant. It was a wonderful evening in a unique atmosphere. Better than any pub could have been... If you're expecting high technology here, you might be disappointed. But if you appreciate old glamour and real style, you will find a wonderful B&B here. Unfortunately, due to low demand, he no longer offers breakfast. We're sure it would have been fabulous. Thank you so much for the wonderful time, Michael.

Very lovely place to stay. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. Old, but it's because the building with some history that the host could tell about. It's a little bit far from the city center, but by car it's easy, and also they can tell you some places to park or to get dinner. Just a bad point, that the check in time it's short and if you travel, it's no easy... they must be more flexible. Recommend.

๐Ÿ‘ Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
