This
restaurant
has
a
lot
of
good
points.
Location
is
lovely,
plenty
of
parking,
staff
were
friendly
and
attentive,
is
a
good
place
for
families
with
children
and
accommodates
fussy
eaters.
However,
on
my
recent
visit
there
were
elements
of
service,
environment
and
food
that
let
this
place
down.
The
place
felt
a
bit
hot
a
stuffy,
and
was
tired
looking
in
our
spot,
there
is
an
outdoor
decking
that
I
took
one
of
the
kids
outside
to
have
a
look
at
the
brook
that
runs
beside
the
restaurant,
I
was
told
nicely
by
the
manager
that
this
was
potentially
dangerous
and
they
were
not
letting
anyone
out
here
at
the
moment.
This
is
fine
but
a
simple
sign
and
roping
this
area
off
is
required
if
this
is
the
case.
The
food
was
mixed
with
some
on
our
group
having
a
excellent
opinion
of
their
food,
whilst
others
left
disappointed.
The
two
veggies
in
the
group
ordered
very
different
meals
(Thai
curry
and
a
Tagine)
but
appeared
to
be
very
similar,
and
definitely
was
the
weirdest
Tagine
I've
ever
seen.
Whilst
the
quality
of
ingredients
seemed
good
this
suggests
there's
a
lack
of
focus
on
the
distinctiveness
and
preparation
of
the
food
options
for
veggies.
Other
issues
included
a
beef
burger
ordered
for
a
child
but
only
the
bun
was
delivered,
this
was
replaced
for
free
but
again
indicates
a
questionable
lack
of
attention
by
kitchen
staff.
The
dessert
took
a
long
while
to
come
and
the
triffle
was
a
disappointing
mush
in
a
glass.
On
the
flip
side
I
would
recommend
the
cheesecake
I
tasted.
I
think
this
could
be
a
excellent
place
with
a
bit
more
care
and
attention,
but
feels
like
it's
posing
as
posher
and
more
expensive
than
it
actually
is
at
the
moment.
