Delicious coffee, really polite and fast staff and lovely ambient. I recommend you to try their vanilla coconut latte and lemon muffin.

I came every day for 2 weeks, but yesterday my glass had a hole in the side and today I order a frostino salted caramel except that the caramel on top was missing, I will not come back to you, but I will go to your designed Starbucks

Was given a burnt Mocha which isn't a big deal, but the response by the staff was horrendous. Patronizing and rude, said Mocha is supposed to look like that (any coffee drinker will tell you it isnt, let alone the taste) made another Mocha as bad and made a big show of calling us up and pointing at it and saying "See, it looks the same!". All they proved is that they can make one Mocha as bad as the other.

Nice place for coffee or snack on historic Emmett Place in Cork in the sun. Pity you cannot see Shandon from here but it is only a few minutes walk away. Good coffee and free WiFi.

Very rude staff, serve you and procede to ask you to leave less than 5 mins later as they are closing.

Mum and I are a regular here and have never had a single bad experience in Costa, everyone's very warm and welcoming anytime we step in the door. Great place to meet and chat over a coffee

Very loud coffee shop as if it is a disco, you can't hear the person at the same table. As well as orders are taken with difficulty due to sound level. When I asked why is it that loud, employee responded with a very arrogant face, "because it is a coffee shop". However this is not the same in any other Costa branch or any other coffee shop.

Came to drink Costa with friends again, I still drink American, and she tried the cute new product! We talked for an afternoon, she wanted to be a flight attendant in the future, and I wanted to continue in the coffee industry. I hope we have a bright future ahead of us.

Had a chai latte here at the Costa near the Cork Opera House. There's plenty of seating outdoors and it was lovely and sunny sunny so we had our coffees al fresco. Can't comment on the food as I didn't have any. The staff were quick to serve us. A small chai latte cost over €4 so Costa is more expensive than Nectar near Parnell Place for example but Costa is bigger. I'd go again all the same.

Staff is very nice and polite, however they need to learn how not to overcook the milk, whenever they make coffee you need to wait for a long time before is drinkable and you won't burn all your internals..

Staff are friendly, funny and attentive (they know my order before even saying it) the coffee is fantastic and my go to choice now. Seating area outside is a nice touch for the good weather.

Cortado cofee size it's 5cm tall good for a 7 years old kid but not a grown up. Croissant was days old and dried out, yet they sold it like that. The girl treatment was fine but the guy attitude was rude.

Best coffee in town and super friendly staff.

Always nice coffee. Lovely place to sit and relax. The atmosphere is relaxed, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because of the noise level with coffee machines and staff bashing cutlery and banging plates and cups into I suppose a sink or whatever. Very nice though.

I went Cork for the for time and always when I in the new city, I’m visiting some cafe for lovely cappuccino. Specifically this one is valuable for friendly staff and their quick work. What a nice guys, everybody smiling, putting you extra chocolate in your coffee and just making your time spending pleasurable.

Update: February 2023. Credit where credit is due, had a very positive staff experience this month. A spanish guy - very good customer service and attentive, without delaying the queue. July 2022 Coffee was good but staff indifferent and a bit smart alecy. Tables need to be cleaned off faster and disgusting ash trays emptied after every puffing smoker🤮 Maddening that many outdoor seating areas, (including this one)allow smoking at all tables.

Is it a bit pricey? Maybe. Do they have really nice chocolates that not only are really tasty but they even look good on photo? Definitely. I love this place for a little guilty Sunday pleasure.

Nice spot for coffee (way way better than Starbucks coffee!). The baristas have always got my coffee right, and whenever an inexperienced barista made it wrongly the supervisor/manager made sure it was replaced and made as per order. Customer facilities are clean and well-maintained. . The bits that can improve.. Music isn’t relaxing and too loud. The chairs by the window and uncomfortable and seating worn out. The lining on most chairs are stained and unsightly. Costa higher management can well afford to refurbish the furniture and carpeting. This cafe is always cold to sit in. (I’m actually wearing my outdoor jacket because of the draught, and most are in their jackets and scarves) You have to pay extra if you can’t have diary - there’s no free alternative like many other cafes.

👍👍 Very nice cafe. There are a lot of seats but it often fills up. Staff are always very friendly and the coffees are great. Cakes are a bit sweet for my liking but my friends love them. Also the coffees are reasonably priced compared to others in the area!
