Could be better. Went for Brunch on a Bank Holiday Monday. Nice to be able to sit outside. Limited menu for brunch breakfast options, no sweet choices like pancakes or waffles. Had a full Irish. The sausages were poorly cooked. Could have done with beans or tomato, it was a bit dry without. The puddings & mushroom were nice though. The waiting staff disappeared before we could ask for ketchup, eventually flagged someone but a quality check would have been appreciated. Service overall wasn't great. Our bill was not correct too, it included Americanos at €2.50 each which should have been included in the Full Irish. They rectified, so make sure to double check before you pay. I'd like to try again for lunch/dinner but won't be in a rush to go soon.

Very modern bar design with excellent staff and there was even a Live DJ in our section playing excellent music. Things start to fall down on the food. It was slow coming out, you had to get your own salt & pepper etc at the bar counter, the salt came out of the packets in lumps because the area was effectively out door roof top, it was too expensive and the food was rubbish, boring and completely lacking creativity. Burger and chips, fish and chips, chicken and chips etc etc... Not a vegetable to be seen anywhere. Someone needs to tell chefs that food advertised as, "fish & chips with mushy peas" with 10 peas in a tiny ramekin is not cute or fancy or, as advertised! Remember the good old days of being offered potatoes and vegetables as an option with your main course! How difficult can it be to offer a roast for Sunday lunch as a alternative to this rubbish that now seems to be mainstream. My daughter 15yrs old wanted to leave when she read the menu but it took us so long to get to our seats on the roof I just couldn't be bothered. I should have listened. Lazy, boring food, can do better.

Visited here last weekend with a group of friends and can't believe how disappointing it was! The bar itself is a nice looking place but thats all good I could say about it as the food was so poor! Especially the burger! In particular the portion size was bad to begin with after waiting about 40Mins for it. Then to add to it the burger was rock solid and like something heated up a few times over. I had about 15 chips on the plate and it genuinely looked like I put them out by ordering it. Other people in the group of friends got the burger and also said there was terrible too but some people said the feather blade of beef was nice. The food here isn't cheap by no means so when it arrives terrible its just not on! It was like something out of dunnes deli I couldn't recommend this place being honest. There are far nice places around cork for sure

I have been a loyal customer of Clancy's for quite some time, but my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. The unprofessional behavior displayed by the manager and bouncer on the door was unacceptable. From the moment I entered, their rudeness and lack of professionalism were evident. What's even more disheartening is the overall decline in service and ambiance. Clancy's used to be a vibrant and enjoyable place, but it has lost its charm. The staff, who were once friendly and attentive, now seem disinterested and unmotivated. I hope the management of Clancy's takes this feedback seriously. Improving the professionalism of the staff and restoring the welcoming atmosphere should be a priority. As a loyal customer, I genuinely want Clancy's to regain its former glory. However, until these issues are addressed, I'll hesitate to return or recommend the bar to others.

Comfy, quirky and cosy - great vibes in here. Food is solid, pints aren't extortionate and perfect for those dates where one of you is keeping an eye on the rugby but being subtle about it 😄 no blaring music either, you can have a conversation without feeling like you're shouting OR you're in a crypt of silence and mustn't chat. 10/10 worth a visit!

Checked out the rooftop area for the first time. Really nice area. Quirky, modern, clean, good heaters, tvs in the area that would be great for watching sports matches on at times, comfortable seating and spacious area too… The food was nice! Waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Wanted to help where possible and their personality shined through too at times which is always lovely to see! Katelyn, who was dealing with our table was excellent.. she was herself, whitty and knew when to pop over to our table.. not a bad selection of drinks (hot, cold, with it without alcohol). Would likely visit again.. Really down to earth vibes yet quite classy too!

Me and a friend had the absolute pleasure of the fabulous Miriam to look after us! She looked after us from the moment we arrived to when we unfortunately had to go! We had only planned on staying a little but Miriam made us feel so welcome we didn't want to leave!!! An absolute treasure and hard working lady! She was so professional, friendly, quirky, attentive she easily and happily made a few changes to what we wanted and we cannot wait to come back..!!! Amazing service!! Thanks!

--- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a find in Cork! The staff were exceptionally kind and made our visit special. The food was outstanding, and the drink selection didn't disappoint. We sat outside to enjoy the sun, but the interior looked just as inviting. I'm definitely coming back! 🍺 ---

A group of 10 of us went to clancy’s last Friday before heading to a concert in the Marquee. The staff at the door were lovely very welcoming and accommodating and we sat at a table which was perfect for us all. A girl came over and began to take our order but brought no paper and pen for a group of 10 people. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but my drink and food never came. Mistakes happen but no staff came around throughout our meal asked if we were ok/for more drinks etc, our table asked for dips and they didn’t come out until after we were finished. It was a bit disappointing

Amazing food and a decent place to have drinks with friends. Sometimes the place can run out of tables. The staff is absolutely nice and friendly too

One of the best pub/ club in Cork City Center. Very good crowd, good and service. The ground floor is for live music and pints. The top floor is for loud music & dance. Would recommend this for weekend outing

Very nice pub that was very busy inside when we visited. Food was delicious however staff weren’t as attentive as would have liked and some food was forgotten. Overall a lovely experience and would go back

Our waitress, Alicia, was super friendly& accommodating. She suggested some beers& was joking with us alot. Fish & chips were good. It was the quickest food service we've had in a week! Great atmosphere with live acoustic music on a Sunday night!

Came here after a long day of traveling at the recommendation of the hotel. Food was great, but unfortunately the liquor selection was lacking. They weren’t able to make a dirty martini, which seems fairly basic. Service was just alright. Try the garlic butter!

Decent joint. Employees were nice and food was decent. Had to ask for our drink more than 2 times and it arrived after our food. Right in town with tons to walk around to.

Had a great time here and our waiter Rob went above & beyond to answer our stupid American questions and to show us around the establishment and to us about places to visit! The food & beverage was delicious & the desserts were massive! Thanks for a good time!

We had our engagement party in Clancy’s last Saturday night & had the most amazing night. I had dropped in balloons & a bag of decorations earlier in the day and expected to come in to set them up that night but the guys went above and beyond and had the whole area decorated! So thank again to the amazing team there.. the guys & girls behind the bar were A1 & everyone said the food was amazing! Also big thank you to Kelsey who was so lovely to deal with as well!

Miriam is amazing!!! The food is good, but even if it wasn’t she would make up for it a hundred fold. She is smart, witty, informative, and very attentive as a server. She gave us recommendations for things to do in the city and answered all of our questions. She was super busy with all her tables, but she was giving the same personalized attention to everyone else as she was giving us. If there’s any kind of employee recognition for her it’s well deserved.

Wonderful central Cork pub and restaurant. Perfect Guinness and Fish 'n' chips with super friendly staff. Very interesting and comfy interior. Highly recommended

Positives: Good pint, good grub and comfortable bar. Negatives: Grub felt dear: €20 for Chicken Wings & Chips. Bookings for tables is frustrating. You can be enjoying your pint, spending money for a couple of hours only to be moved on from a table. Recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Lovely pub, in the center of Cork. We went there for lunch and the food and service we received was fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly and lovely to our 11year old daughter, which was nice. Food was very tasty, and prices were absolutely fine. We will be back the next time we visit Cork. Many thanks

Wow is all I can say! Clancy's is very nice bar and very nicely decorated inside! Loads of space and the staff were very attentive! They have an amazing cocktail menu with a wide variety of drinks, I really liked the "Dead men tell no tails" drink, see images! The food was to die for! I ordered the AFC chicken burger and it was exactly what I was looking for! Light, juicy and crispy! I recently called to Clancy's and had to get the AFC chicken burger again! And it was just as good as the first time that I had it! I highly recommend it!

👍 Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
