I'm no coffee connoisseur, but someone who works on the road I drink quite an amount of coffee on the daily, so I know a good coffee when I get one, i called into this fine establishment and got what i can only describe as the best coffee of my life, the coffee itself was spectacular the temperature of the drink was absolutely perfect and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Very much so plused with my experience here and would highly recommend. Definitely call back in when in Cork again.

A solid cup of coffee. We didn’t have time to sample enough to really know but this is certainly a safe bet for those looking for a morning kick!

Very few places in Cork where you can genuinely purchase quality coffee. There are a handful of good producers and roasters in Cork. This is definitely one of the best if you don't want the acrid tastes all too common amongst Cork cafes. This cafe forces the others to up their game.

Nice small coffee shop with a small but cosy sitting area. Good music playing in the background, toilets are clean and the service and Coffee are excellent. Coffee such a dark creamy colour before I put in some milk. You just know it's good before you even taste it.

Bought the Home Brew course for my sister and wife as a gift. They loved it. Sister said "Great way to spend a few hours and you'd learn a lot from it! Cormaccs knowledge of all things coffee is 'unbrewlievable' ". Brock, 'the badger' sponsors our Aussie Rules Football club, the Leeside Lions. We start most game days with a trip to Barrick street to get us up and running!!!

Badger & Dodo is a long term roaster in Cork city. Recently, they have started to open cafes around Cork. Prior you could find their coffee in various cafes around the city. It is wheelchair accessible. There's wheelchair accessible parking nearby. You will need to wear a mask when entering the cafe. #accessible #familyfriendly #wheelchairaccessible

Very good coffee but can't give them more stars when they advertise that they open at 07:30 but really they only open at 8 maybe!

Excellent spot for a specialty coffee. I’m gutted I only learned it was here today. I think it will become my new regular when in Cork.

I really love their coffee. Always delicious, always a friendly service. And I love to support a local business, however I’m dropping a star because today it cost me €4.40 for an oat milk cappuccino, that’s €1 more than a lot of other places in Cork. I just can’t afford to spend that much on a coffee. I will go here again as a treat but in general I can get delicious coffee elsewhere for cheaper. Other than that I couldn’t fault the place.

In the last year I've been using their Blackwater bean for an espresso recipe (1:2 for 18g in 25-30s) on a Sage Smart Grinder Pro at inner burr 3/outer dial 6. Also use the exact same recipe on the Niche Zero at setting 11

Love your coffee especially the Blackwater blend. Even if we both go into any cafe we can smell if they use your coffee. And it’s usually the Blackwater blend thank goodness. Great new monthly subscription servíce. We look forward to receiving our gorgeous beans each month and it saves space in our freezer and cupboard.

Don't expect your coffee fast. Took one week to receive a bag of coffee to dublin. This is not the first time this is happened. No delivery within Ireland should take this long. I think I'll look at more reliable roasters.

Coffee is amazing and the staff are a joy! The menu is a little hard to follow with my brain power but the staff always know what you want just from looking. They do everything from a small latte to a flat white!! 10/10 would recommend

👍👍 Very nice cafe. There are a lot of seats but it often fills up. Staff are always very friendly and the coffees are great. Cakes are a bit sweet for my liking but my friends love them. Also the coffees are reasonably priced compared to others in the area!
