Such a chill ambience with the vintage feel and amazing coffee! Best iced latte I have had in years. Vinyl records for sale and playing music in the background to create good vibes.

Best record store ever : every genre, and beer right downstairs. Added bonus of parties in the evenings !

This is one of Cork's best kept secrets and I'm even reluctant to write this review so as to keep it that way. Coffee and Cakes are consistently superb and of the finest kind. But the real treasure is the music and vibes. An unusual record store of the 33 & a 1/3 vinyl variety. You can even make requests from the wide variety of genres if you're serious about buying the disc. I'd give 7-stars if an option (for the Pleiades aka 7-sisters).

Easily my favourite Record Shop in the country ; exceptional customer service, warm, friendly & helpful staff, eclectic selection of stock catering to many differing music tastes. Great selection of local & national artists work also & the finest hub in Cork City for local Art & cutting edge live music. A+++++++++++++++++++

Quality better than quantity. Good selection of records, full of surprises. Another monthly stop in Cork city at the beggining of each month (paydays).

New favorite coffee shop in Cork. Good coffee, great staff, and excellent music (though I don't know what it was ... give us the playlist and cross-merchandise you know?).

On the surface a straightforward minimalist cafe/record store. In reality the guy who runs it is an institution on the cork music scene. The cafe is very classy, the menu is simple but good quality. Music is great. If you don't like this place go to Starbucks.

I’ve been buying music in Plugd for close to 15 years at this point. Jim is always in touch with his customers’ tastes while also presenting his own bizarre take on music. This combined with a consistently high quality control makes Plugd a unique record shop in Ireland.

Have had nothing but excellent experiences with plugd! Really grateful to have such a space in Cork, Jim goes over and above to help with finding whatever music you're looking for, and is super knowledgeable and open to discussing music. It's been a real cultural backbone in the Cork arts scene, couldn't recommend more.

The best record shop in the best town. Great eclectic music selection, great vibe. The lads always have time to chat about new releases and gigs. Some of the best live music in Cork happens in that little space too.

Lazy…. No interest in selling anything I asked for. I think all interest is now in coffee. Shame I gave a list and no response. I heard he was the best for certain genre. Don’t see it. Maybe coffee is more valuable.

Not just a record shop but one of the most important spaces in Cork over the years. Has sent me down different musical paths umpteen times and has succeeded in completely broadening my tastes, always something interesting in the bag when leaving the shop. Knowledgeable staff, independent gigs and events and esoteric stock along with things you have been meaning to pick up - cant beat it.

👍👍 Very nice cafe. There are a lot of seats but it often fills up. Staff are always very friendly and the coffees are great. Cakes are a bit sweet for my liking but my friends love them. Also the coffees are reasonably priced compared to others in the area!
