The food experience was really nice there. All the food were tasty and most importantly they deliver both quality and quantity for the money. I think that the price of the food were perfect considering the taste and quantity of food. Their service were also good and the atmosphere was good too. This place is open 24/7 and people gather here most of the time which is why it might get a bit crowded and yet the environment seems tolerable. Overall, it is a safe place to bet on your food while in Cox.

Had an wonderful evening here at Shalik. Tried their famous tandoori chicken, beef with chuijhaal and Channa dal. Which was really good at quantity and taste. We ordered one of each and complemented that with butter naan and parata it was enough for three people. So, at this price I think Shalik is good for the value of money. You should try their mishti doi (sweet curd) as well. I felt their service was top knotch.

The food was nice. But don't expect a fine dining experience there. The whole place smelled bad and was too crowded to enjoy a peaceful meal. But, their Loitta Fry and other fish items were tasty.

This restaurant is famous for traditional Bengali food. They have various types of items in their menu for different dietary experience. For those looking for a taste of heavy food, the menu also includes options like Biriyani and Khichuri. Food quality is good enough. One can come here with friends and family. It has a spacious indoor setting as well as AC cabins. I love their new branch for its beautiful wooden structure, situated near Dolphin Mor. The environment is friendly. Staffs are cooperative. It takes the concept of freshness to a new level by allowing guests to handpick their seafood from a live food stock. Additionally, it offers a juice corner where one can enjoy refreshing and healthy beverages to complement the meal. With its unique concept and diverse menu options, Crab Corner is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on your taste buds. From its cozy ambiance to its impeccable service, Crab Corner has already established itself as a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Their milk tea is one of a kind. Washrooms are nicely cleaned. They don't have a parking lot but wheelchair is accessible for the ground floor. The combination of its visually appealing decoration and inventive menu makes it a must-visit for those seeking a truly extraordinary dining experience.

Best place for night out at Coxs Bazar area. Don’t go at lunch time. From my experience night is far way better than day time. Light environment is really good there. Day time this restaurant is overcrowded

Authentic Bangladeshi Cuisine with Hygienic Environment. Shalik Restaurant in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, offers an authentic taste of Bangladeshi cuisine that truly impressed me. The flavors were rich and authentic, reflecting the essence of local cuisine. The restaurant maintains a high standard of hygiene, which is commendable. While prices may lean towards the higher side, the quality of food and cleanliness justify the expense. A must-visit for those seeking genuine Bangladeshi flavors in a clean and welcoming environment!

Went here around 1 am in the night and was surprised to see this place still bustling. The place is pretty big and has a good ambiance. There is adequate seating. They serve mainly bengali food, but also offer a good deal of bbq/fried seafood options. The overall variety was good and we were surprised to see that almost all the options were still available even at such late night. The service was a bit slow, but once we got to taste the food, all the annoyance of waiting just fizzled away. The food quality and taste was great. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try when in Cox's bazar.

Interesting restaurant. The kitchen is in a different and smaller building than the restaurant itself. We went twice ...once of lunch and once for dinner. They have a process where you can pick out the exact fish that you want and then specify how you want it cooked...steamed, fried, or grilled. At dinner we ordered from the menu. Sizzling chicken is very good.

Its a nice restaurant close to dolphin mor. The simple setting looks good. Service quality is also good. Taste of food items is great. They have a good variety to offer. I wouldn't say the fish item was too good but it was ok. The chicken item was really good. I found their behavior friendly. And considering cox'sbazar, price is reasonable. Its often too much crowded. Not the right place if you are looking for some calm and quiete time. But if you are looking for food places to try at Cox'sbazar, this is definitely one of those you can try.

Item 1: Mixed Fried Rice - 500 taka The rice was excellent. The thing that really surprised me that there were plenty of huge beef chunks. The taste was pleasant as well. Item 2: Loitta fry - 180 taka Average, nothing special. Item 3: Beef Chili Onion - 450 taka Again, average. Nothing to complain about. Not bad.

Nice interior, helpful staff, good food and lavish interior, this new restaurant is quite famous in the tourist city Cox's Bazar. We tried their Khichuri, it's quite expensive, 850taka per serve. However, the serving quality is way too much compared to their saying. According to the menu it's 1:2, however for us it was quite enough to share with 4 people. We had one full serve (4 people worth of food) extra which we had to takeaway. Apart from this, other experiences were good.

Here you can have Bengali Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Indian Cuisine, and so on. Here you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with your loved one. The place is quite spacious. You can see the live feed of the kitchen. They also provide live fish like crabs or others. The pricing of the dish is quite budget-friendly. If you visit Cox's Bazar then you can visit this place without any hesitation.

Food quality is mind blowing. Taste is much better than others. Prices are also high. We ate coral fry which cost is 1100. (700 gm) All over I recommend it to all. If you’re food lover than you must go there and taste it.

The restaurant initially looked good and they offered me to pick my choice of frozen fish and live crabs but the way the fish was grilled completely destroyed any existence of what the fish might have been. I think the charred and overly spiced fish served was to hide the stale smell and taste. The environment is nice and staff friendly too but I don’t think it’s the right place for grilled fish in Cox’s. The paya halim was quite good though with plenty of gelatinous meat and bone pieces. It was however little too spicy for my taste

I had haleem at shalik 2 years ago and it was 🔥. So when I came to coxs bazaar again, naturally I wanted to have it again. this time I went for the paya haleem... it was NOT good. It was very oily and had an overwhelming amounts of spices. I wouldn't get this again. we also ordered chicken boti kabob, that was really good.

It is my privilege to share my thoughts with all of you regarding "Shalik Restuarant & Biriyani house". It is a nice place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have various types of items in their menu. The arrangement is nice. The environment is friendly. The food quality is not bad. The waiters are cooperative. They have a nice dress code. The restaurant is running in a disciplined way. They wears hair mask. The washroom is nicely cleaned. It is situated beside kolatoli beach. However, the overall environment is good.

The ambiance of the establishment was undoubtedly a highlight of our visit. We had the pleasure of experiencing both lunch and breakfast during our stay in Cox's Bazar. At lunch, the standout dish was unquestionably the impeccably prepared fish, a testament to the culinary expertise on offer. The flavors were tantalizing, and the dish was a true delight for the palate. Regrettably, our enthusiasm was dampened by the daal and vorta, which failed to meet the high standards set by the rest of the meal. The breakfast experience, on the other hand, was a showcase of culinary excellence. The chicken soup was a warm and comforting revelation, and the mugdaal was a harmonious medley of flavors. Most of the breakfast offerings left an indelible mark on our taste buds.

Food is overpriced, but doesn't taste so bad. Waiters are somewhat helpful. For all the money they're taking, they need to be more careful about cleanliness. We found a cockroach lurking in a chair just beside us. The ambience is good.

Very busy restaurant. Not that clean and tidy. I would rather say, its dirty. Too noisy, too many crowd. Food is very expensive. I bought two Elish Fish Egg with 500 taka. 250 taka piece. I think its extremely expensive considering the place is Cox Bazar. Other menus were not that tasty. We had to eat it as we have ordered. Hopefully, wont visit in the future.

I've been to this restaurant three times, always for breakfast because it's conveniently located near Dolphin Mor. If you're unsure where to eat breakfast after getting off the bus at Dolphin Mor in Cox's Bazar, Shalik Restaurant is a great choice. During my three visits, they consistently maintained food quality and improved their services. The food quality and environment are excellent, and the staff provides good and friendly service. However, I believe the food prices could be slightly lower.

Firstly, having a restaurant open 24 hours with lots of food choices is fantastic for late-night cravings. The halim is a must-try, and the portion was huge. It took four of us to finish the big bowl. I enjoyed the noodles; even at 3 am, the chef cooked them really well 👌 I'm deducting some stars due to the waiters' behavior. The food wasn't cheap, and since we didn't have cash, we paid through bKash. When we couldn't leave a tip, the waiter was disrespectful. I hope this was just a one-time incident.

I had mixed experience with this place. Firstly the customer service was really good. Totally satisfied, but the food was average. Was quite disappointed with the red snapper bbq, apart from that loved all other items.

Superb place for casual dining on deshi food. A bit spicy, but the low price takes away the sting of the spice. Open 24 hours a day, even during Ramadan, and service is superb and honest. After ordering polao, they gave us khichuri on account that the polao smelled "funny". Could have told us something else, but they didn't. Highly recommended place.

This is one of the good local restaurants in Cox's Bazar. They are offering very tasty "Paya" in the morning and evening with Nan. Their Bengali food items are as usual in taste. But kababs are comparatively good. Why I like this restaurant most???? Because they are open all the time. You can dine there at midnight, even 4 o'clock in the morning. That's the best option for travellers and tourists.

One of the busiest restaurants in Cox’s Bazar, always bustling with tourists and local residents. They are open 24/7 and serve a wide range of local foods. So if you get hungry at late hours of the night, do not worry, they got you covered. May you be warned- It is not the cleanest restaurant and you better turn a blind eye to that if you want to order here. I would suggest you pick something which they will start preparing after you place your order rather than ordering something they have already prepared you don’t know when. They have a “live seafood” corner where they display “frozen” fish/crabs/ lobsters. You can pick what you like and they will prepare it the way you will choose(bbq/curry). The taste was 4/10. They sometimes change their pricing for meat items( for example beef vuna), which they claim “depends on the availability and source of the item”. So if you are planning to go there multiple times, try to check the price. Saw some customers complaining about this. However, do try their milk tea and Paratha. 👍

Quality of food is very disappointing. I have ordered a vegetable fried rice one hour ago. Now am trying to swallow it. The fried rice is too much oily and only some slices of carrot has been provided as vegetable. 300 Tk. for such a vegetable fried rice is too much which I have been thrown into the bin.

Good restaurant. Located at Dolphin more. Well decorated. Good environment. Fish corner, Juice bar, Tea corners are available. Recommended

  • 5/5 Shahjad U. 11 months ago on Google
Another gorgeous restaurant with new ideas. Superb decoration, plenty of sitting arrangements, number choice of food available. Live food stock of sea food to pick and cook or grilled. There is juice corner, traditional biriyani or any other traditional food you might like. Crab corner will blow your mind. Only things that missing is no sea view while you are eating. But, who need this when food is delicious, isn't it? Restaurant already made their mark. Lots of visitors while I was visiting. Live music will definitely add on with fabulous food.
