Have only been there for breakfast and have been very pleased both times. Ordered my bacon extra crispy as I always do when I have breakfast out and Sero's is one of the rare places that actually does it.

My husband and I started going here almost weekly starting a few months back. It’s super close to our house. Friendly staff, friendly owners. Absolutely enjoy the food. Pretty quick too! Clean and nice looking. Definitely affordable! Can’t wait to go this week!

So the food is pretty good. Breakfast served all day and prices are comparable to post-pandemic times. Service is top notch and the speed at which these cooks put out the food is nothing short of phenomenal. And I would swear their desserts are all baked daily. But, beware of their auto-gratuity on orders $50 or more regardless of party size. We were not notified of this and had to ask about it at the register. I still do not know how much my tip amount was but I figured it to be around 21%. If auto-gratuity doesn't bother you, then visit here! But just be warned ahead of time so you don't receive a shock like I did. Sero's, if you read this, PLEASE, for the love of God, POST this policy on your door, add it to every menu, have every waiter and waitress mention it to each patron, and post it on your plexiglass divider at the register. It is policy like this that leaves a bad taste in customer's mouths if they are sticker-shocked and not made aware of what they are paying for, especially when a patron may have left more if it had been up to them.

My family and I have been coming to Sero’s since they opened. Food and service are always top notch. The owner is there every day to say hello! This is a great family business to continue to support.

Enjoyed our visit. Definitely an interesting setting and vibe to the place. Service was good and very cool old school daily specials in writing. My partner ordered the pork chops and I had a taste, very tasty. The catfish were perfectly breaded and presented. Will definitely be back for another round. The only disappointing component to our meal was the rush we felt as they closed at 9:00 pm. We arrived a bit after 8 but soon after the entire restaurant was in close up mode. Would recommend getting there way before unless vacuums, mops and chairs on tables not a distraction. Good food for the price. Definitely give Sero’s a stop in.

The food was not great. 2 orders was wrong from the menu. The prices was 3 dollars more than what it was listed in the menu. Had to wait for refills. Ordered Boston cream pies that should have been thrown out. They was stale. Plus there was hair in my brothers food. Than paid bill but could not leave a tip didn't have enough money. Manager came out and questioned us about the service and no tip. Told us we was not welcome back. We have been going there for 25 years and never have we had this kind of service there.

Until the owner rectifies my bill, my review will reflect likewise. Owner promised a refund (I was double-billed) and nearly one month later, I still have not been reimbursed. At this point, reach into your cash drawer, pull out $60 and give me my money back. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? THE DELAY?

Lovely all day breakfast place. Classic diner food options. Portions were generous for the price. Staff seemed friendly and place was clean.

I had relatively high expectations, and Sero's unfortunately did not come close to meeting them. I will say, the place looks lovely on the inside. We were sat quickly, but despite the restaurant being pretty empty, it took quite some time before a server came up to simply say "What are you all drinking?" The order did come out correctly. Their chicken lemon rice soup was creamy and relatively tasty, although there was no lemon hint. I would happily eat that again. However, the pork chops I ordered were tough and fatty, and a sandwich another guest ordered had hardly any meat. One other in our group said their food was ok at best, and a fourth enjoyed his food. I would not plan on going back to Sero's.

Sero's just feels like home. From the atmosphere to the people. The food is amazing too. Everything we ordered came out hot, and very flavorful. Our waitress didn't miss a beat. Drinks was replaced without being asked and she came around to see if we needed anything. Definitely worthy of a huge recommendation for any time of day!!

Been dining here for 25 years since I moved here from Chicago. This is the only restaurant in Indiana since they won. I've never had a problem with any service or food. Went to school with the girls and everyone involved here is pretty awesome. My number one breakfast recommendation to anybody and all around. Great recommendation for any time of the day

This was a nice little place. The servers Lydia and Melissa were great. The food was ok. I wanted to go for breakfast but we didn't get to go until after 7PM so I ordered the Perch special. As you can see they were the biggest pieces of Perch I've ever seen. I will go back for breakfast next weekend.

It was a nice place to eat. Their food looked and taste very good. I had the meatloaf and mash potatoes. Two good sized cuts of the meatloaf and a large scoop of potatoes. And a very generous ladle of brown gravy. The service was great. She was very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing is their parking lot is kind of small.

Good family restaurant, good variety of foods. The Philly chicken sandwich was okay but the coleslaw was refreshing. This is a good venue for celebration and gatherings.

Had a delicious breakfast when in town visiting family. The "hashbrowns" are so delicious, I couldn't stop eating them. The eggs came out perfect. They had some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had. Service wad quick and so friendly.

They are on top of everything with your order and when you order. Very friendly and you feel very welcomed there and you are treated like family, the employee's all work together. You can see that everyone and everybody is truly enjoying themselves and truly enjoying there orders. Very nice selection on there menu and it's nicely done and there prices are great and very reasonable. And they will always ask you is everything okay with your order and if something isn't right about your order, they are on top of getting it straightened out. The food is nice and fresh and hot!

Been there several times now. Love this place for good food, generous portions and very reasonable prices. You can just feel the pride they have in the restaurant that they keep to high standards.

Well it was my first time visiting this establishment and I must say it's was really amazing service was at it's best I can say the best customer service I've ever seen for a dine in restaurant I was seated right now which could sometimes be a hassle I didn't have to wait long for the waiter I didn't know what was the best choices when it came to the food but I went ahead and ordered the pecan waffle with scrambled eggs & 3 pork sausage I would have preferred beef but wouldn't available but it's not to major and alongside a nice cold cup of apple juice.The pecan waffle was very good the scrambled eggs was delicious as well but the pork sausage kinda hint of italian sausage I really would like some fresh fruit but waiter did let me know why they wasn't serving the item but nevertheless I enjoyed the atmosphere a very nice family oriented place to come to eat and enjoy a friendly conversation I enjoyed every minute dining here so when I'm here anytime soon I'll definitely come back again your truly Kodi Marcel 👏

It is a simple diner type atmosphere with typical home style food plus some Greek dishes (I believe the owner may be greek). Menu is quite expansive but not expensive so everyone in a group will be happy. I went here early on a Sunday morning and Holy Breakfast Batman! Don't come here without an appetite...at least for breakfast. I got a skillet and it was SO filling and delicious. It was so big, I had to take some to go. I don't normally take doggie bags but I couldn't let it go to waste. I also go an eclair to go. The pastries are delivered twice a week from a bakery in Chicago. If the lunch and dinner food is as filling as the breakfast, I may need to start buying bigger pants because I'm most definitely coming back.

A lot of variety! I got the Meatloaf Manhattan and it was very delicious. The staff were also extremely kind and personal. Definitely put the “family” in family restaurant.

How have I lived in the east side all this time and never been to Sero's? My in laws suggested we go for dinner. Cool. I'm always down for food. Walking inside, I notice right away there's an affinity for flying pigs. The atmosphere is bright. The dining room is clean. Our server answered some questions (very polite) and our first time experience begins. Grilled tilapia, liver and onions, San Francisco melt, and Cajun pork chops for myself. All foods were very very good. Just enough spice on chops to give best flavor, without scorching taste buds of your tongue. Green beans were excellent. Mashed potatoes and heavy were on point. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Drink refills delivered on time and we had to ask for nothing but boxes to take food home. Almost forgot to mention that they have desserts. Homemade. Eclairs were generous in size and flavor. Apple pie slice was large enough for two people easy (to my advantage; wife was "forced" to offer me a taste). Overall? I'll definately make it a point to return there when back on the far east side. This restaurant is a gem worth spending your money at.

A great little restaurant on Indy's far east side (Cumberland). Well staffed with friendly wait staff and excellent cooks. I've been going there for 18 years and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend.
