This year, my wife and I stayed at the hotel, and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast is complimentary. We also walked about 2.5km to the Bay of Mermoz and swam. We like the hotel staff. They were helpful. They have remodeled since the last time I stayed here. Thank you to all of them!

Cette hôtel mérite même pas être appelé hôtel de la place du Dakar car leurs réception est nulle, les personnels nulle, accueil zéro voir même plus loin leur petits déjeuners c'est un morceau du Pain qui coûte 115 FCFA et un petit sachet du lait en poudre qui coûte 25 FCFA plus un stick Nescafé pour une chambre dont la nuitée coûte 20 000 fcfa vous imaginez cella? Une hôtel qui n'a pas de goût des couleurs agréables aux yeux des clients , pas de parking disponible et surtout un coin caché sans ambiance à pleine sacré coeur à Dakar? Oh non

Tarif annoncé à 14.000 la nuit mais sur place le prix est à 20.000 pour seulement quelques heures. Ce n'est pas une chambre que j'ai eu, mais un placard à balais, de 2m sur 3 (le lit touche les murs sur 3 côtés), et une salle de bain d un peu plus 1m2, avec la douche qui coule sur le sol, lavabo déglingué... A fuir absolument.

Not far from airport. I spent two weeks at the hostel and I highly recommend it. Hostel wasn't made from bunker beds. Senegal is safe but property is very safe, clean and well run. It was spacious; my dorm room had a fan and a TV. I saw some rooms with air-conditioning units. The property is run by three ladies who are very helpful and nice, and few young guys who are in charge of security and cleaning, mostly keep the place running outside of the front desk. This is a great place to stay in Dakar, in the middle of everything. Very good price and usually not crowded.
