Staff is lazy, thats for sure. Waiter was taking the order while we were listening music from his airpods together with him... No one was smiling in a restaurant except us. I understand concept of the restaurant, just food right on a table in front of you, ok, but when waiter brings a plastic bag with seafood to drop it, At least he can say bon appetit instead of watching at us like some one has just died. Food as for me a bit to spicy. Mussels are the star of the menu!!! Super delicious. And great soup with lots of shrimps .

The place is nice and the interior design is good also. The staff are also good but not very hospitable to costumer. Other wise other things are all good. The food price is little expensive but worth to try especially if you want some seafoods meal.

We ordered the 1. Mix Seafood’ with the ‘Shrimp Nation’ sauce - SR. 183 2. Fish Basket - SR. 40 3. 2 X White Rice - SR. 8 per portion The food doesn’t take too long and we were handed gloves and a plastic apron since this was going to get messy. The smell of cooked seafood and spices wafted out of the bag and we dived in. The sauce had a bit too much salt for my liking but once mixed with the rice, it made it a whole lot better. The crabs had soaked up all the wonderful flavour from the sauces and the shrimps were inviting. It took a bit of patience to de-shell the shrimp but it was all worth it. The lobster was a bit of a disappointment since you couldn’t really taste the meat. The mussels too packed a lot of flavour and I had to make sure the wife wasn’t stealing my share since it happens to be a favourite of hers. Overall a very satisfying meal but they should go easy on the salt. The Fish Basket had tender cuts of fish fillet that were deep fried with a thin layer of batter that really retained the taste of the fish. Coupled with the Tartar sauce, this is a definite must buy when you visit @shrimpnations.

The best prawn bucket restaurant in the area. Friendly staff, lovely place and delicious food with reasonable prices. The shrimp nation sauce is highly recommended. Fish basket is tasteless. The waiting time is reasonable and the service is fast despite the crowdedness.

To me the taste of shrimp nation flavor is ok 6/10. I expect it to be much tastier than what most people gave as high rates. Service is excellent and fast. Food is clean and fresh. Prices little bit high compared to the quantity of the food.

Sadly, it was our first and last time here at shrimp nation. We arrived to see someone almost passed out on the couch, people standing around and just in general..a very chaotic vibe. Anyways, we sit down, we order and things start to calm down. We ordered the lemon pepper shrimp with rice, the shrimp nation with rice and a side of fries. The food came rather quickly which did raise a couple of questions..like..is the food already precooked, sitting in a pot? Both shrimp flavors were nice, not amazing but alright. The main issue was that the shrimp was terribly OVERCOOKED!! It was unnecessarily difficult to peel which only frustrated us. Also…In the middle of our meal, the staff decided to bring in multiple boxes of kitchen items. Kinda distracting! The service was also at a bare minimum. We ended up paying over 200 for over cooked and overpriced food. Wouldn’t come back.

About the dishes are good , i can say im satisfied but im my opinion the place needs a designer touches to be more comfortable , and more importantly needs a toilet ! I was shocked there were no toilets in it 😮

Food was okay. They didn't even have a restroom. Customer service needs improvement. Quality of gloves is good. Food was more expensive to others but the quality isn't that great.

One of my favourite seafood restaurants, super delicious food. I recommend the shrimp nation sauce it’s so yummy.

I heard a lot about this restaurant so I decided to try it. I have tried many seafood restaurants in KSA and the U.S and I think this restaurant is the worst! I ordered fried shrimp which tastes really bad like if they didn’t wash it at all. I also ordered their soup and it tastes bad too. They put frozen small shrimp in the soup and like if the shrimp kept outside for so long.

Easily the best shrimp I ever had, everything tasted perfect 🤤 the waiters are very hospitable and fast. We received our food literally 5 minutes after ordering and it was steaming hot 😋 only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is because they had no bathrooms or the bathroom was out of service. Other than that I recommend going there and trying the garlic & butter sauce

So delicious. It can get a bit messy while eating even if you wear the cover-up they give. Don't wear light colors because some sauce may splash. Ambiance is very casual and food is in plastic bags brought to the table in a steel bucket, don't be too shocked. It is all for good fun 😁

The atmosphere can be more cozy but, overall the food was amazing, but the staff are not motivated so they need to be better trained.

Tried the restaurant during my summer vacation IT WAS DELICIOUS but kinda overpriced

The only pros are the service was fast, good location, reasonable prices. However, the shrimps were overcooked, so it was hard to peel!! Also, the sauce was over oily!! I ordered a soft drink but they didn’t bring it to the table and they included it in the receipt, so I told them to remove it. The employee told me to take it with me as a take away order and paid for it, so I insisted to remove it from the receipt!!!! Although it’s 6SR, but you don’t have the right to decide instead of the customer!! There are better choices in the area, so not coming again.

Rude waiters!! Though we enjoyed the dynamite shrimps ( around 6 shrimps).

Unfortunately the service was so bad last night when I visited the place for dinner. I've asked for Tom yum soup and they served me different one and when I told them that .. keep arguing how can you differentiate between them seems like he is trying to fool me just to accept that one and pay for it . Im really upset. Even when we ask them to keep the rise in place, immediately he said with a as you wish like he is unhappy in a bad tone. I believe service should improve. Food was so delicious and they serve food fast .

The quality of shrimps is amazing and so is the quality of preparation of all the dishes... They have the same rich taste across all the restaurants... The ambience and quality of cooking is simply amazing

Excellent taste, good staff, busy restaurant, an hour waiting list, not easy to find parking, price chilly a little bit. I liked the restaurant way no need to wish your hand caz they provide gloves.

I loved it, really it was the first time we try it today based on a friend recommendation and it was marvelous really the restaurant decoration is nice the food was served fast although the place was almost full of people ,and the amount of food was very good and satisfying but the food was a little spicy for my kid although we told the waiter we don't want it spicy ,we were three and we ordered shrimp with shrimp nation sauce and the fish sticks with shrimp nation sauce also ,maybe the shrimp nation sauce is a little spicy ,the sauce itself was thick and i don't know what was included in it and there were corn too in the bag ,we also ordered shrimp nation soup and it tasted funny it had shrimp and calimary and crab ,we also ordered calimary fried rings it is called basket the amount was good for one person and it tasted really good, overall the food was nice but if you are not a fan of spicy food just stick with the fried fish sticks (basket),i also have a note on the presentation of the shrimp and the fish sticks in plastic bags it was not nice as one of the bags had a hole in it and the sauce was running on the table ,so they really could change thier food presentation to be plates and it will be good way to impress the customers.
