I've eaten here several times. The staff is #DetroitFriendly with the speed you expect from a fast casual taco place. It is a newly built put space, and they keep it well lit and very clean. If you work on Lafayette or are staying at the Doubletree or Cambria, Detroit Taco Company is a good choice. Detroit Taco seems to be delivering consistently good food quickly with a pleasant experience... it seems to be working well.

I ate here for the first time at the Greek Town location and it was good. The prices were a little high, but overall the service was good and food was very good especially for it being 1230 in the morning

I have reviewed hundreds of places and I can’t get enough of what I ate here. Check what you’ve read with a grain of salt on this company. This place in particular is great they really filled me up with a lot of flavor and a ton of food! I don’t know what it’s called but get the crunch wrap supreme with steak type thing. For the price i 100% agree with what I said above. Great job.

This place is tucked inside the casino food court. The Detroit tacos is basically 2 double Decker tacos.......delish.... especially if you eat them 'for here' vs 'to-go'. Could easily feed 2 people. I highly recommend!

I work nearby and have been here several times and they have 2 consistencies. 1 bad food 2 very expensive for the food. I wanted this place to be good. I have been 3x and each time got an Ala carte crunchy taco. All 3x the shell was stale as heck. It's literally a WAY overpriced sub par taco bell as you can spend $30 on your whole lunch here. You want jalapeños on your taco? 2 bucks each. The whole taco is 4 something.... double meat? 4 bucks.... uh ok I'll just take a whole nother stale taco. You can see all of their ingredients they use in the back through the windows which are all able to be bought from GFS. Resturant was really clean..for now as it's brand new. Time will tell on this.

Yikes! The food here is really bad. Like REALLY bad. Steps to making a good street taco, 1.) Grill tortilla 2.) Melt cheese in between shells 3.) Add meat 4.) Cilantro, onions and lime. These were hands down the worst street tacos I have ever had. I also ordered chips and queso. Queso was essentially melted velveeta cheese. Chips were stale. Price point--Expensive. If the food was good, I wouldn't be mad about the price. But to pay $23 for tacos, small portion of rice (which was dry as heck and lacking flavor), small order of chips and cheese and a soda. Way too expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favor, order Qdoba. I hope you find this review helpful if you're contemplating eating here. For the owner, sorry to be such a harsh critic--but you can't get better if you're oblivious.

I purchased a chicken burrito at their Greektown location on 4/19/23, and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. The burrito had very little flavor and was mushy. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like it came out of a can. The salsa for the chips tasted like canned tomato sauce and had no flavor. For $19 without a drink, the meal was extremely overpriced. You can get a larger portion and much higher quality at Qdoba or Chipolte at half the price. There was only one worker at this location taking payment and making the orders which was completely unacceptable. I don't know if their other locations are any better, but I can't see how this place will possibly stay in business. I have never left a one star review for any restaurant, but this was really bad. The previous Mexican restaurant at Greektown was pretty good. Greektown Casino should definitely cut its ties with Detroit Taco Company.
