For all 6 of my followers you need to go here. I absolutely love this place octopus gross no sir peas eww nope if my mom made peas like this I would eat them all. They put a delicious sauce on them. Try the flaming cheese and any lamb dish. Service is always great. When I plan to go here I do t eat all day so I can get the most of my gluttony.

Great atmosphere, large selection of foods, and huge portions at reasonable prices. Do come here with an empty stomach! For appetizers, I would recommend the saganaki “opa” cheese (it was fun to see the flame in front of us!) and the quail (it was so tender). I ordered the Greek trio as the main (spinach cheese pie, eggplant, and macaroni). It was a hefty plate and I enjoyed the variety. One of my friends ordered the daily special and we were all amazed by how big the portion was! Plus, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, and not too loud – ideal place for a sit-down meal while still being able to have causal conversations without having to shout your lungs out. Very glad I came to try it out!

Nice Greek restaurant in downtown Detroit. The restaurant does not have its parking spaces, you have to find parking nearby. The food was good, and it came pretty quickly even though the restaurant was very crowded. You have to try Saganaki, it's quite a show. We will go there again when we have the opportunity.

Really didn't expect to have as good of a meal as I did. We went on a Sunday on a lions game day, so it was crowded and busy. We ended up eating at the bar because it was no wait. Had the grape leaves app which was good, but the lamb stewed in tomato sauce was amazing - a huge mountain of slow braised lamb the could be cut with a fork and just melted in your mouth. I couldn't have been any more pleased with my dish.

The lamb shank is unbelievably tender. I have no idea how they layed the meat on our plates without it falling off the bone. The fried baby squid was satisfyingly crisp and the service was quick. We will be coming back.

Loved it. Let’s start with the place itself, the place was clean and beautifully designed. It had its own vibe and the staff were friendly. I ordered Tasskabob, it was delicious. The portion was a good size and I had to take the rest home but even after warming it up the next day, it was still delicious. The appetizer was really good, enjoyed it a lot. It felt like a home made food but at a restaurant 😉. Highly recommend.

I wish I had the name of our server because she was absolutely amazing. She was dealing with a truly atrocious big top and she still managed to be attentive and sincere when dealing with our own table. The food, as always, was spectacular. We did have a bit of a wait, but for coming in during the dinner rush on a Saturday night, that's to be expected. The only reason the atmosphere wasn't 5 stars is due to the tech bro big top previously mentioned--but that really has nothing to do with the establishment or servers. I hope whoever our server was knows how much she was appreciated. We can't wait to come back.

We walked right in and got seated right away. The waitress was nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to get the saganaki and the ocktaplata which is chilled octopus for appetizers and they were spot on very well done and fresh. For dinner I got the gyro... it was okay but to be honest it was dried out. The french fries were overcooked as well. I was kind of disappointed to be honest. My wife got the chicken kabob ..her fries were the same but her chicken was very well flavored. Againa little on the dry side as well. I've been here many times and this is been the worst time yet

I’m no expert when it comes to Greek food so I couldn’t tell you how authentic the food is here but the food is always very good. First timers should definitely get the saganaki opa! This time I had the Trio and was very good especially the spinach pie. My wife had a lamb dish, and enjoyed it as well. We came late on a Sunday and there was no wait. Service was very good.

If you're interested in the real deal authentic Greek restaurant experience this is the place! My Hotwife and I stayed in Detroit for a couple of nights for a Redwing game. We asked the front desk of the Atheneum Suite Hotel for the best recommended Greek restaurant. We were directed to Pegasus within walking distance of the hotel. It was a Wednesday night around 8pm so no wait. Our server was spot on from beginning to end of our dining experience. The food portions were plentiful and tasted amazing! It was actually hard to leave the restaurant considering the great experience we had. Highly recommend if you want authentic Greek cuisine!

Excellent experience only to be topped by the personal touch of the owner Mr Vasily. Trust his food and dessert recommendations and enjoy authentic Greec food. Pegasus is my new favorite Greec restaurant in Detroit.

Very, VERY disappointed in the meal ...the bread looked appetizing but was flavorless...I ordered the anarki lamb....not much flavor, the rice was bland and overcooked and the green beans were boiled to a mush. I ate a little and left the 24.00 dish on the table. When I don't like a restaurant I don't review it I just don't go back. BUT this is so bad....I had to tell others. I know there are hundreds of good reviews for this place, but it is nothing more than Fast Food of the Greek World serving slop...get them in get them out

The food was amazing. I can't say enough good things about the food. The service however was an entirely different story. Yes, it was busy.. but they were getting people in and out very quickly. First thing that happened was our waiter walked by our table 4 times saying he was coming back each time, fine they were busy so we understood and was ok with it. When he finally returned we tried ordering drinks, we asked the ingredients for the drinks and he didn't know.. and seemed a bit annoyed we even asked. Instead ordered a diet coke and the two other people received their drinks & the diet coke never came. Anytime a question was asked it was made seemed to be a super inconvenience that we had a question about a menu item. It was my first time there... so obviously I don't know the menu well or what meals include. We didn't even get to order our food when we were switched to a different server. Which was totally fine but we assumed we had another opportunity to ask about the drink which was in question. The water threw his arms up annoyed saying ugh I don't know and proceeded to grab the attention of our previous server to ask him the ingredients to which we just said never mind because we already asked and they didn't know. When we got to order our food, we were told to hurry up and decide because the kitchen was "backed up" . We quickly ordered and we did receive our food quickly which was great. The food was so good I'm willing to give this place another shot. But it is a bit disappointing when your made to feel as an inconvenience when you are giving a resturant your business. I can only hope next time is a better experience and this time was a fluke. If next time the service is as awful. I will not return.

Nice place with decent ambience. The restaurant seemed fairly empty for a Saturday night. The lamb shank and the flaming cheese was really good by the gyro was bad. The meat in the lamb gyro felt dry and old. The service was good.

Let’s start with the good, the service and the Sangria were great… but this place is exactly the same as when I visited in the 80s, 2000s and 2010s. which would be fine except there is a large amount of dust stuck on the fake grape leaves has been there just as long. There were also black specs in the salt. Some of the food tasted amazing a fresh and some of it like it had sat around. It was just sad and disappointing and not a place I will return to when I visit Detroit. I hope they turn it around, clean up the decor and maybe limit their menu so the food stay fresher.

Dmitri is a wonderful person who helped me decide what to eat. I really enjoyed the vegetarian trio and the beer which he suggested. The place has an amazing vibe and good music. Will highly recommend going here if you are in Detroit.

Dishes were delicious. Lamb chop was especially good. A group having 8 or more eaters could make a reservation. Call in advance is recommended.

We love it here. The service is always top notch and the food is great. The food we order doesn't feel like it is too oily or heavy. Highly recommended this place if you'd like to try Greek cuisine.

Always love this place, service is very quick and the food delicious. We always get the lamb chops, and they are pricey but always cooked perfectly and great. Saganaki, skordalia and greek salad are great also. We always enjoy a family or large group dinner here.

Best leg of lamb I have ever eaten. Waiter was wonderful - suggested a wine that went perfectly with the lamb. Highly recommend.

Amazing in every way. My husband didn't even notice his wine being filled by the server. Food was amazing. This is the combo platter with lamb. Everyone else orders the opa cheese platter which gives a good wow. Very authentic, very good. Thank you for a great evening.

Excellent Greek cuisine in the heart of Greek Town Detroit . A must have is the baked lamb shank ,absolutely delicious also the Moussaka was fantastic with a melt in your mouth bechamel sauce, the saganaki was noteworthy for sure.

As a Buckeye going to that place up North for the first time was disconcerting. My friends wanted my wife and I to try this place, so we did. My server Zax and the bus boy were extremely nice and helpful. I have never eaten Greek like this before and their suggestions were on point. The food was excellent and far surpassed my expectations. Thanks@

The atmosphere is beautiful on the inside I will say that. This time I didn't actually order food, but I did order the Pegasus summer lemonade..it wasn't hitting for me. The mint was wayyy to over powering it was like mint with a hint if lemonade, I ended up diluting half of it with water, then it was good. My friends enjoyed their food tho so there's that.

I've been coming here for 35 years and never had a bad experience. This is the first time I have been here since 2019 so I was anxious to get back for dinner. For me, nothing has changed; still friendly service, great music, atmosphere, complimentary bread, and topped off with one of my usual "comfort" entrees. Looking forward to returning very soon.
