I came to this place about a month ago during a lunch break. The person that I was working with said that he attempted to find the best burger in Detroit. He said that this was the best place that he had found so far. While I don't know if it's the best, it was a damn good burger. It was nice and juicy with lots of flavor. It was also shaped well too, which doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but when you are eating a burger and you can't get a good grip, it becomes an issue. The patty melt was also very good. I got waffle fries with each of the burgers that I ordered and they were very good. The waitress was on point and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere is very upbeat as well. While it is sort of a blue collar feel, it seemed like a very fun place. There is also a patio outside. Overall, this place is very well-rounded. Great food and great vibes.

I just had the worst experience at a bar/restaurant I have ever had. I’m sad, because I am a returning customer to this place but will Never go here again! So The indoor dining ban has been (slightly) lifted, so I thought I would try to support a local place! I decided to go to Duffy’s; it is 20 min out of the way but I have liked their burgers on Jason Carr’s recommendation. Called to see if they were open for indoor dining-yup, so off I drove. I arrived bout 6, and went to the door, with a mask but had to ring a doorbell. No problem. A very rude waitress/bartender opened the door and immediately asked “Who do you know here?” Huh? “Do you know anyone here?”. I’m sure I had a puzzled look under my mask. “Why are you here?” she asked? “I’m here to have dinner, I called earlier and you said you have indoor dining now” I said. She again asked “Well, do you know anyone here? We are being really careful who we let in.” “No I dont know anyone here I just came to have dinner”. She again said “We’re being really careful who we let in”. By this time I’d had it and told her to forget it, I would go elsewhere and never return. I don’t know if they have dog fights or poker games or something secretive going on inside, I don’t really care. They must make enough money that they can afford to treat customers like garbage! Good luck Duffy’s. You would think a local restaurant who was finally allowed to re-open after a long closure Might treat returning customers who went out of their way to bring them business by welcoming them, not treating them the way this rude Karen did. I expect to see a For Lease sign in the window if I ever drive by that place again.

I don’t know if I was just starving when I went here but I got their patty melt and it was quite possibly the best patty melt I’ve had.

This is the place to go for great food and great people. And the best time to go is St. Patrick's day, when they have the bus that goes to the downtown parade and brings you back. Best place to sit and watch people that are drunk try to go down and back up the few steps on the bus. Lol watched a guy that had two beers in his hands and he stumbled off the bus and about fell but he didn't spill a drop. I would say he had alit of Irish in him. Lol

Jason Carr is right. This is one of the best basic burgers I've had in all of Detroit and surrounding communities! Fries were good too. Small bar, not much to speak of other then their great food!

Cheeseburger, and fries were amazing. Seasoned great. Bar service excellent. Debbie did a awesome job, especially for being closed for such a long period of time. I highly recommend this bar

It's an okay local dive bar. Depending on who's working it can be an amazing night out or it can be a night to forget. It is a safe place but does occasionally get a little rowdy.
