Crowne plaza is previously known by Doren hotel & resort but after changing the ownership they didn’t make any mistakes on service. They are providing best services & delicious dishes like before. This is an rare example that someone maintaining same standard. I have visited there several times on official meeting purpose & for family gatherings. I didn’t see any changes in service level.

This hotel seems to be new one, actually ot is not so new. Earlier it's name was different only and now it is named as Crowne Plaza. What ever it is a good hotel including better banquette hall. Several times I have attended some seminar or workshops here and I found their arrangements were good, though the space is not very wide since the building is constructed on a tiny parcel of land. I think the hotel is a good choice for event arrangers mainly because of the location. It is just at the Gulshan 2 Circle, a very convenient place for the invitees to find and reach here easily. The food and accomodations are also not had comparing their expenses. Good luck for the latest management.

So overall this is the best place to stay. It’s not cheap but with limited quality options in a city with almost no tourist infrastructure, it’s ironically value for money.

Just AVOID this place if you are in Dhaka! Their staff MISBEHAVE with visitors and guest. It happened with me and with my guests. Their front desk manager Sohel was very arrogant and doesn’t have the basic sense of hospitality. He also argued with the guest.
