Their food quality and quantity both are amazing. Hands down they serve the best Japanese food in town. But they should have a dress code for the waiters. It looks kinda odd other than that everything is good. Good inside parking available.

It was the smallest rolls I've ever seen in my life. The waiter was too busy with his phone and television or else we hardly saw him. We had to constantly ask other waiters for services but when it came to give and take the bill he was standing the entire time in front of us. The food was okay but nowhere near best and surprisingly I heard of this spot from many. I don't think I'll ever suggest this spot for others in the future.

Very good food, delicious, especially their grilled squid and octopus, tempura, beef bulgogi, etc. However it's pretty expensive for middle income people like us. Funny thing is that they try to charge 15% VAT, which has become obsolete long ago. Government of Bangladesh changed restaurant VAT to 10% in 2021 and to 5% in 2022. Restaurant VAT is 5% at present. They changed the bill after I told it, which is very much appreciated, however they shouldn't have charged 15% at the first place. They must rectify their billing machine.

This is my go-to place for sushi. I love their temakis the most! Their bentos are very generous and sashimi always fresh. The place is nice and quiet with friendly staff.

Food and service was good in general. Sushi and Sashimi was okay (however there are better places); grilled squid & octopus was delicious. Food was served with complimentary appetizers (Peanuts, Pickled Cucumbers & Miso Soup), followed by citrus fruits after the meal. Place is neat and stuffs are friendly. Spacious enough for group dining.

Great Japanese restaurant in Dhaka. Loved the sushi very much. Environment is very good. Price seemed little high but ok for taste and quality.

I loved everything about Samdado. Their food quality, taste and presentation - all were spot on! Last time I had food here was around 13 years ago. And I am happy to see that their quality is still the same...

Good oriental food (I would say oriental as some food felt more like fusion rather than authentic japanese), and a different ambiance. Felt good to be away from all the hustle and bustle of modern busy restaurants. However the interior looks a bit dated and could do better with some refreshing.

Food was average. Our recent visit, we tried nano calamari, three different types maki. Nano was really yummy n makis were just average taste. Food a bit pricey ofcourse Ambience could be better and more cozy. Service was also average.

This place is a hidden gem in Dhaka, loved it!! The sushi is so delicious, the soups are amazing and the staff are so friendly and hospitable. Loved it and will be back again for sure

It's a Japanese food hotel. Not so big, about 25/30 visitor can seat at a time. Inside of Boundary, there is space to park 5/6 car. It is in ground floor.

They have maintained their exellent quality over all these years.

1.Place smells and looking very old (not in the good way) 2.Waiters are very slow and looking arrogant together with that guy from the entrance. 3.Ordered a tea pot and it came with a very dirty cup.Asked them to change it ,after 5 minutes the waiter came with the same cup still dirty.When i've asked to replace the cup they've told me that they don't have another one (is it possible to have only a cup in whole restaurant?). 4.I don't even want to talk about the food because they've ruined that experience even before starting to eat. Don't recommend.

Homely atmosphere but servers were too casual and not well dressed. Items ordered were good tasting but sashimi cuts were not upto our expectations compared to the price - not saying its very bad, but could be better. Overall an ok place for your Japanese cravings.

The place is too cozy compare to food quality. We experience bad about parking. Buy the 1st floor is very good for private gathering of 4-8people with individual room facilities.

Great Javanese cuisines with full attention for the tranquillity. Food is a bit pricey. But who doesn’t love to pay if the food's taste is worthy. Try it, you will not regrate. :)

we explored spicy salmon maki, another maki, bento box & udon. All dishes were quite good. Ambience was good as well. I wanted to rate 4.2-4.3.

Good food, excellent service

Good ambience and good food if you like to try sushi & maki rolls or nigiri you can give them a try. It was not crowded when we visited for dinner so it was more of a private dinner time for us. They had nice presentation for the dinner along with some condiments. And after dinner they gave us complimentary brownie. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant experience of Samdado.

Much better than Sushi Samurai. I left happy from here. They offered complimentary natto, kimchi, and salad. The food is above par. I didn't feel like I was being ripped off, like at Samurai Sushi. This place may have ruined other sushi places for me.

Best Japanese food but worn out. Needs serious complete renovations. Guest also appreciates fine ambiance. The tea pot should be ceramic rather than steel. For food, it is the best.

Always my favorite

Ramen was bad. Broth was horrible.Eggs in the ramen was Hard Boiled Egg. Gyoza was bad. Skin was thick and the shape was off. Tasteless. Tempura was bad too. Nothing like a Japanese Restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has eaten Japanese Food anywhere else in the world.
