👍👍 I never tried Thai food before Thai Emerald. But this place has definitely made me fall in love with the cuisine. All their dishes are 1:3 amount. So it's better to go with a group of friends or family. The food is absolutely worth the price. I tried the chicken cashew nut salad and beef with Basil... I never tried Thai food before Thai Emerald. But this place has definitely made me fall in love with the cuisine. All their dishes are 1:3 amount. So it's better to go with a group of friends or family. The food is absolutely worth the price. I tried the chicken cashew nut salad and beef with Basil leaf. The taste of each of the items were very distinct that gave me a very memorable first time Thai food experience. Quantity was enough for 3 people, and I'll definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a very satisfying meal.

Visited to this place with my family. The food and the ambience is top notch. The price is premium so I would suggest to have more than two people to make the serving proportional. The food was great specially the seafood. I would recommend to try the fried snapper with red curry sauce. I had a pleasant experience.

Food were fantastic. It resemblances the exact taste from Thailand. I like the coconut milk soup, it is so fragrant and flavourful, to pair it with seafood it’s taste even better. However, the only issue was during my visit - the junior staff that assists us in the order wasn’t really up to the standards. Order 5 meals but only key in appetisers. Making us waiting for our meal for 30 minutes or more. However, the manager managed to rectify the issue and offered us complimentary ice cream as compensation. Good damage control! Overall, still a good restaurant. Perhaps more training for your staffs.

The Uttara outlet is so much better than the Gulshan outlet. The service is a bit late but food was spot on! Must try the red curry chicken and crispy morning glory!

Nice, cozy fine dining thai restaurant which we love. One of the best places to go for thai foods in dhaka. All of their foods and drinks are freshly made and comes with exquisite flavors. It's located in the same premise as Kiyoshi (another restaurant from the same owners focused toward japanese cuisine). The location has a big parking field in front where 10-15 vehicles can be parked comfortably.

Delicious item and well decorated restaurant. 🥰😋 Food Quality is very fresh and tasty🤗 The behavior of staff also cordial. 😇 But inside the restaurant if someone wants to take photos without high configuration Mobile picture will flashed out by decorated lighting. 🙈💔

Nice and delicious dishes but quality can improve. Busier during dinner time. Overall nice seating arrangement and ambience. Friendly service. Recommended. Coconut Ice cream with sticky rice was an unusual and uncommon desert but was really tasty.

This seven-year-old restaurant, which was first opened on September 15 2015, has a cult following, especially among families with a taste for real Thai food. Their appetizers included pandan leaf infused with chicken for a sweet and sour flavour. For this classic dish, the chicken is marinated in a mixture of ground coriander roots, white peppercorn, oyster, soy sauce, and coconut cream.

Worst service possible. The stuffs were not friendly and helpful. I had to even ask for tissue multiple time. The food was utterly blunt and tasteless. Super average. Where the cost is pretty high. How come they are surviving i don't know. Probably who wants to waste few bucks can go there.

We had a beautiful family gathering in December. Our choice of menu fit every ones need, the drinks were amazing. You can customize to ur sweetness-with or without sugar. The light ambience in that part of the restaurant was low for taking photos. The ladies toilets are also clean for use. The service was efficient. Since our guests came in a range of 1.5 hours, our menu was brought in accordingly by the servers. That was amazing.

    1) Fried Morning Glory with seafood: Having tried it from the uttara branch, this was very underwhelming. The fried portions were soggy and very oily. Felt like it was mistakenly put in cold oil before frying. 2) Tom yum soup with seafood: The broth was subpar at best. The crab portions didn’t smell like they were fresh at all. Reminded me of the horrible taste of street-side crabs I had in Cox’s Bazaar. The portion was just enough for 4 of us. 3) Basil Fried Rice: The rice was well rounded. Had the perfect enough of spice for me. Can be shared in four servings at best. 4) Mixed Seafood in young coconut: The gravy was mild and tasted like comfort food to me. It had an ok amount of seafood in it. Not really worth the price. 5) Fried whole snapper in chilli sauce: We wanted something spicy, so this was recommended. I liked how the the chilli sauce complimented the fried fish. Wasn’t that spicy at all. But, Tasted good with the rice. 6) Coconut Ice-cream: After having a super disappointing meal, this was finally something that blew us away. The warm sticky rice with the coconut ice cream was phenomenal. Overall, I wouldn’t visit Thai Emerald a second time. If I had to go, I’d try the coconut ice cream only.

A great restaurant located in Gulshan area without any noise. The biggest advantage here is the drive-in & huge parking space. The food arrangement in a quiet and uninterrupted environment. The quality of the food is very good. It is better to book before going here

Food was good. Loved their orange mocktail. Lemon Iced tea was lil bit strong with tea. Place is beautiful but size wise they don’t have enough number of employees. Their Tom Yum soup and Prawn Rice was good. Will visit later and recommend.

The best possible fine dine restaurant for family or corporate dinners. Fish items on the menu clearly retain unique and most certainly the best taste in Dhaka. Duck is pretty good too. Although it might appear a bit expensive at first but once served, you will realize why it was worth every penny. Considering other fine dine restaurants in the vicinity, it clearly offers the best value for money. The ambiance, the servers, the food, everything is made to perfection. P.s. They don't have any sign boards; its basically the ground floor of Kiyoshi.

Excellent food, very good ambience, well behaved staff. I am too much pleased with the variety of sea food items they have, and they were very tasty. Appetizers are awesome, especially prawn items. Soup seemed average, but rest all were too good. I highly recommend this place for authentic thai food lovers, and will visit here definitely again.

Excellent location for Thai food experiences. The cuisine was excellent. The sum is far more than sufficient. Every meal we ordered—mixed fried rice, red chicken curry, tom yum seafood soup, mixed seafood in young coconut, and coconut ice cream—was delicious. Considering the caliber of the meal, the price is fair. Our new favorite restaurant is here.

On par with various good Thai establishments i have had the pleasure to visit in various countries. Atmosphere has a sense of peace, simple but nice. Service was relaxed and not hurried. Food was exceptionally appetising and well presented. Would have no hesitation to recommend friends.

Their Food is authentic thai food and very delicious. I highly recommend their seafood in young coconut and steamed fish. I also loved their dumplings. A must visit!

  • 4/5 Waliur R. 1 year ago on Google
Mixed feelings. The recipe doesn’t seem to be consistent. Seafood Tom yum soup tested like it was meant for kids. Average, no thai ginger or chilli. It wasn’t like this before. Seafood salad was served with raw semi-transparent shrimp which they also never didin the past. I understand that thai people eat it like that but this is BD. A warning would’ve been helpful. To their credit there was no smell. Fried snapper fish amazing! Until today, I absolutely loved their cooking but now I’m confused. If in future any one of you find these foods better than what I’ve described, please reply to this review. I’d love visit there again.

Great place to experience thai cuisine. The food was simply great. The amount is a lot more than enough. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered (Tom Yum seafood soup, Mixed fried rice, Red chicken curry, Mixed seafood in young coconut, Coconut ice-cream). The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. This is our new favorite place to dine.
