Heard of this place and their food more times than i can count, so finally went there. I had heard before this places get very crowded and oh boy this was not exaggerated at all. By the time we had reached there was already a very large group of people entering the place, however despite the crowded conditions we were able to find a table for two. The food was sooo good, specially the Chicken Roast. I have had roast and polao in other places but this was by far one of the top ones. Would definitely go their again, and hopefully try their biye bari set meal.

Wonderful experience. Such a good place for having a great weekend. Their quality of food is really amazing. "Kacchi biryani" is the must try item. Also their desert item is good. But personally, I don't recommend their "Chicken Roast" item, that is so average. You will find different tastes in this restaurant.

Really disappointed this time! Didn't get any flavour or taste from the kacchi. Foods were served cold. There was no crowd at all. We were the only one dining. Still they had only set menu 1 and 2 available. We wanted to order jorda but they said it was finished. But we don't think they even made it. The staff behaviour seemed very average and not professional!

Update maybe they were having a bad day last time I visited.. went there today and I must say one of the best biriyanis of the town. I would recommend increasing the seating capacity though, they can only serve 20 to 30 people at a time. So in rush hours, there's a long waiting time. Went there with high expectations. Ordered the biriyani and lacchi. I had better biriyani than this. Firni was good.

Food and ambience were good but few staffs behavior were not professional at all. One staff who took my order was hurrying me like 'you have to tell fast' when I deciding my soft drinks May for 5 seconds only. The cashier's behavior was also not professional. When I asked whether I can pay via card or not he babbled sth while counting the money which I couldn't understand and he didn't even bother to look at me. However, may be not all staffs are like that because the staff who received my payment was well behaved. Overall recommended for kachchi because their food is delicious and it is good food which is our prime concern in a restaurant.

Their biriyani was really average. I didn't find anything special. To me it's hyped. Arrangement of the restaurant is also average. AC was not working during the time of my visit. I drew attention to that but no one at the restaurant seemed bothered about it. You can visit this place if you are looking for average food.

Salam's kacchi is one of the best kacchi places in Dhaka. Their kacchi smells & looks like a traditional one, not the fusion one with spiced & masala. They served chutney & boiled egg with kacchi. Great place for hangout or date. The environment is great, the wait staff are polite. The food is fabulous as expected from Salam's. The meat just melts in your mouth. Their polao and roast are a must try. Try to avoid their borhani, instead take lacchi or shahi sarbat.

They almost never have anything on the menu except kacchi and the polau. They said they had kababs but no naan. What even is that? The kacchi tastes alright, the firni is alright but the jorda isn't that good. They give a chutney with the kacchi which tastes pretty good.

I ordered half "Shahi Mutton Kacchi Biriyani". It contains two pieces of mutton. But the both pieces had a little amount of meat with big bones.

Loved their less oily biryani. The portion of meat was great as well in comparison to other well known brands of biryani.
