Name: Nirob Hotel & Restaurant Product: Everything. Deshi foods. Vorta, Vaji, Beef, Mutton, Chicken, Duck, Daal, Rice. Once they have Chinese in their manu but in 3rd floor. But it is now close. Place: Situated in Puran Dhaka, Nazimuddin Road. Very renowned place. And old also. Multi stored building. Not well decorated. But very crowded. Premises was not so clean. Description: Food was great. We have order some vorte like Chepa Shutki, Tomato, fish; Vaji like Korolla; Beef; Shrimps curry; Daal; Rice and Badam Sharbat. Food was great. Some of have less salty. I don't like the Beef. But Shripms was good. I love the Chepa shutki most. Daal was fine. Rice was also good. Price: Reasonable. Taste: As I told overall good. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE FOOD.

Very good and popular restaurant for Bengali foods. Specially popular for lots of vorta items. Foods are delicious. Environment is nice also at upper deck. Some modifications are found nice with bamboo decorations. People are friendly and the service was good. Prices was reasonable. Their desert items like Borhani, badam sorbot, dodhi, faluda, milk tea were also good. Don’t miss the misti paan in front of the restaurant after lunch. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is situated near old Dhaka and famous for Bangla foods like different kind of Vorta, vegetables etc. They are likely to serve a lots of items at once and one can choose their favourite ones. Their food tastes good and service was satisfactory. Their overall environment could be much better though!

At lunch time they have a few dozen Bhorta, all taste very good. It's their speciality. They also have meat curries which are also excellent but often unnoticed for the bhortas.

This hotel mostly crowded by the students and local people. you will have a great time with good food in there. There food is really very good to eat.

In a few words, Nirob Hotel is one of the oldest bangla food restaurant in old Dhaka, which offers various options of bharta, bhaji, and bangla foods. The hotel has two storied and air 1st floor has air conditioned cabin where 40 people can sit and take food at a time. Also, the non air conditioned area of 1st floor and ground floor have around 100 people capacity to sit at a time. We had 21 items while our visit today, and all foods are delicious. Those who used to take less spicy and less salty food items at home usually may experience a little bit spicy and salty food there. The bharta items are too good. You can find dal bharta, potato bharata, banana bharta, shutki bharta, gourd shell bharta, tomato bharta, eggplant bharta, fried fish, spicy beef, shrimp kari, red vegetable, green vegetable items and tea etc. All items were yummy and delicious.

It is one of the oldest and most famous restaurants on Nazimuddin Road. The restaurant remains almost always crowded. Lots of students come here to eat and drink. The restaurant is famous for their various curries and mashed bhaji. Nihari, kalavuna, chicken soup, purivhaji, bread and wonderful testy tea .. these are the main attractions of the restaurant for breakfast. The quality of the food here is very good and delicious. Food prices are also reasonable.

To be honest didnt enjoy the food. The food is not bad tadye is above average. may be my expectation was very heard a lot of them. As they are one of the oldest and serves traditional so they are to improve in nany aspects. But for traditional and variety of bhorta bhaji its a recommendation.

If you are a traditional Bangladeshi food lover then it’s the right place. It is one of the oldest restaurants of Dhaka located in old town. They have variety of deshi foods. I love their Vuna Khichuri, different kinds of smashed items (Vorta), fried beef(Kala Vuna). The price of the dishes are highly reasonable but I have a doubt if they maintain proper hygiene. The building is very archaic and not well maintained. They should renovate this place.

Worst bengali hotel among the ones I tried. They are way overpriced. Their quantity is not adequate at all. I picked up from them using foodpanda. Instead of Alu vaji, they provided potol, gajor vaji and to find alu you will need a microscope. The price of their paratha is 20 tk but the size is like the paratha of 5-10 tk. I reached there 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. After me telling them to give the food which was supposed to be ready 10 minutes earlier, they just started making the food. I had to wait there for about 10 more minutes to get the food. Totally disgusting experience. Their less quantity and overprice is nothing new. I have previously experienced this. Now I am determined not to order/dine in there ever in my life. I would suggest the same for everyone.

Foods served in highly unhygienic way. Dishes and plates contains dirt's as these are not washed properly. Serving tables were not clean and seems does not cleans regularly as a food service provider. As a low cost food server, food quality and quantity is okay with price. This restaurant should concentrate on hygiene issues seriously.

If you are thinking of good local foods if varieties of varta and fish this is only popular destination in the Dhaka city that is located in old Dhaka near to old central jail. But you should be Desi food lovers. More that 20 types (varied on season and availability), dried fish varta, fish 🐠 fry, local tasty fish, kala vuna etc. Available in reasonable price. Nice seat allocations for Freund's and family entertainment with AC and non Ac arrangements. Sorry no parking 🅿️ available. Little bit crowded. Mau have to wait in lunch pick time.10 mins from Chan khar pool or Dhaka medical college. 5 min away from chawkbazar. Simply love it and proud of our old Dhaka.

I started to eat in this restaurant in late eighties or early nineties when it was very small ,on the ground floor only.We used to have regular dinner there with brain masala and paratha. It was amazing. Later the restaurant started to grow and expanded and became very famous ,specifically for bhorta. They have huge varieties of bhorta in addition to regular items. All of their food are very tasty. When I visited last it was very busy,we had to wait for sometime to get a seat. Now it is an iconic place!!!

They offer different type of mash in lunch with plain rice and daal. garlic and chilies in mustard oil, unripe banana with coriander and chilies, tomato with mustard oil, cabbage with garlic, potato with dried red chilies, beans with green chilies, dry fish mash specially chepa, fried eggplant etc

Very good one at old Dhaka. The restaurant is famous for its breakfast items. I heard a lot about this. But the day I visited first time was bit disappointed cause all the food menu were very salty. Some other customers also complained the same. Waiter said that was mistake only for the day. I hope so.

Horrible place for food lovers. I visited Nirob 18 Februar, 2023 with my family and the food experience is simply horrible. We could not attend the lunch item (the beaf, kalabhuna, shrimps were not simply eatable at all) they charge me a good fortune (BTK 1800). I would urge all of my DU friends never think of going there again. We should rather go Nilkhet and have the famous Tehai.

👍👍 The price of the food is very reasonable and every food tastes so good! The taste of the chicken curry was just out of the world. One of the best places to have desi foods. My friends and I often come here to try different items and they never disappoint us!
