It is a five-star hotel in Dhaka that offers practically all amenities. In their ballroom, I went to a seminar. The audiovisual system is adequate, and it is nicely equipped. The launch buffet was excellent.

I recently visited the well-known and upscale Westin Dhaka Hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka. It's quite fancy but comes with a hefty price tag. I frequented their food court, which I must say, offers a superb culinary experience, though it can be a bit expensive. My most memorable experience was when I organized a day-long workshop in the hotel's spacious ballroom. The snacks and buffet lunch provided were not only diverse but also incredibly delicious. The variety of flavors on offer made it a true culinary journey, and all the participants couldn't get enough. What truly made the visit exceptional was the warmth and helpfulness of the staff, including the chefs and waiters. They went out of their way to ensure everyone had a pleasant time.

I been staying here for about 5 months now and the only thing the staff is consistent on is how inconsistent they are with the services. I have had issues at least once a week here with everything from the food to room issues. This may look like a 4 star hotel but the staff make it feel like a cheap motel.

AVOID this hotel. The furniture is aged with cracks, male staff (in suits) are loudly talking on the phone all the time, and the lounge always packed with people with poor selection of food. Also their junior suites face international clubs and the ‘concert’ can go on all night. Moved to Renaissance just down the road - food was much better, staff was not arrogant and rooms are clean. This would be my last time to stay here.

The worst hotel in Dhaka. No respect for guest. I wanted to talk to the front desk supervisor if I remember it correctly Mr. Sujon. He didn't bother to meet me. I am a Marriott Titanium member I wonder how it goes with regular guest. Very old hotel, old and dirty furniture. The food is not good. The hotel is surviving due to its location and if it closes anytime soon it will be because of its rude unfriendly staff.

Beautiful hotel in heart of Gulshan. Hotel is located in prime spot, very close to shopping, groceries and transportation. Only 20 mins from Dhaka International Airport, the hotel boasts great restaurants, swimming pool and decent rooms. The hotel is around 15 years old so some items in the room may suggest so. But other than that the bed is super comfy, the rooms are spacious and breakfast is superb. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

One of the most luxurious hotel in Dhaka for sure. The location is near plenty of restaurants, parks, and shopping centers. The hotel room was spacious, modern, and cozy. The Staffs are so kind and very professional. As my wife was traveling from the UK she had to stay at the hotel for quarantine, thanks to Shishir Khan who looks after the reception team an extremely kind and professional hotelier. Thanks to the team again to make my wife's stay amazing.

Famous 5 star hotel Westin keeps its quality & management. Serving its faculty to the customer from very beginning. Quality of food is the best in Dhaka. Staff behavior, cleanliness & the interior is posh & 5 star level. Though the price is much higher here. However they offer in local celebrating days for complimentary companion dialing or some other offer else. The location is in a good area & well secured.

I didn't stay there just went for a hotel visit. Rooms and washrooms are quite bigger and well decorated. Most interesting thing is all category rooms have bathtub and shower cabinet both facilities in the washrooms.

This place will take very good care of you. I was put up here by my company for a work trip and the staff was amazing! They are by far the nicest people I have ever met. They make an effort to learn your name and are incredibly personable. They even helped me organize a trip to Sylhet during my off-time. If you're live in Dhaka and you don't know The Westin, it can't be happen. As a five star hotel, they try to maintain everything as five star 🌟. I was here for many times. Last time I was here for a program that is about study in abroad like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Spain, France, Germany e.t.c. The seminar was much good than I expected. Actually I'm thinking that, it's a free seminar what can I wish but after going my mind changed. They're so friendly. If I'm in trouble or not understanding something, then they're trying to solve the problem as earlier as they can. I'm from a middle class family, so my father has doesn't enough money to send me abroad for study 🙃. That's why I want a scholarship. If I found then I will go In shaa Allah. The cause is AHZ Associates offering 5000£, that's something big. That's why I've gone there. At last thank you Westin for bringing this kind of seminar in your hotel. We enjoyed that very much and we learned a lot about the subject.

I must need to mention Mr. DOSTOGIR , a senior executive, even we never met, only interacted over phone but couple of my toughest request of surprise events he organized in such a manner like an event manager. In desperate need of an update, the only good thing is the location. Really overpriced and the food in the restaurants is not good. Most of the staff were nice. I asked for a late check out which was okayed by the staff, but when I went to check out, I was greeted with a very rude staff member asking me WHERE HAVE I BEEN??!!! because they went to my room at 12pm (late checkout was 2pm) and I had apparently packed up and not paid, therefore they charged my colleagues credit card instead. When I explained that there is no way they checked my room and I had packed up because I had literally just done that myself, he then asked my room number and realised he had the wrong one and did not offer any apology.

Went there to see their on Christmas decorations this time. Really loved it. Visited Westin for some other events previously and always found the hotel to have really courteous and friendly staff. It’s one of the best Hotels in Dhaka but the hotels in Dhaka are pretty poor. The food is the best I have experienced on multiple trips to Dhaka, but again, it’s not excellent food by western standards. Super lovely staff and people in general and the service is excellent. Rooms are good and the bed is comfortable. Adding photos of the 330ml beer that cost $24 (yes!) and the pizza that is $30 (yes again).

Great staff and overall experience got the corner room which was quiet and great for a single female traveller as requested. Quite spacious room and has all amenities the staff as well. It’s quite late and prompt. Will be coming back on my next stay. The breakfast was the huge stand out with a large number of varieties. I think one needs an empty stomach before going.

Been here for 3 nights for business. The best part of the hotel is the location. It is quite centrally located and next to some good restaurants and shops etc. Due to the central location, the hotel entrance is also a bit awkward. For example, the car entrance and let down space is extremely narrow and you cannot have any car waiting for you there. The lobby is on the first floor and you have to take an escalator to the lobby and check in once you are dropped off. Its not a big deal but it just wasn't my taste. The rooms are spacious, but a little weathered - you can see it in the carpets in the room and the bathrooms utilities. The dinner and breakfast buffet have good selections and you will not stay hungry. They have got good selection of local, Indian and continental cuisine. The check in and check out were smooth for me and didnt come across any hassles. I would strongly suggest that you book an airport pick up if its your first time to Dhaka and this hotel was prompt in providing me one.

Internet was a little slow, but adequate. The hotel’s fitness center is well equipped with free-weights, machines, and a variety of cardio equipment. The breakfast buffet is excellent and was a highlight of the stay – a vast array of tasty selections all wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. Overall, the hotel was perfect for my business trip, and I’d certainly select the Westin Dhaka again if my travels bring me back to this city.

We went to the restaurant at 2nd floor and the staff at the entrance had the tendency to judge us by our appearances and seemed doubtful whether we are able to dine-in or not! We ordered two main dishes. One dish was average and the other (Nasi Goreng) was below expectation. Prawn tasted stale. But staff who served was very helpful and professional ! Staff are very friendly and supportive. Breakfast buffet full of options. Rooms are big enough and clean. I do not really know the city but streets around are very noisy and crowded. Unfortunately guests do not respect the non smoking rooms.

Stayed for a day in the pleasant and luxurious environment of this hotel on business. Very modern and spacious room. Moreover, I really liked the place where satar is cut. The food served was very nice and delicious. Although the cost is a bit high, but not too much considering all the benefits.
